We purchased a 2008 camry and had every service apppt at Sand Mtn Toyota. The camry began using quite a bit of oil between oil changes. This concern was brought up at every appt with promises of return call Sand Mtn Toyota. The camry began using quite a bit of oil between oil changes. This concern was brought up at every appt with promises of return calls and inveatigation which was never fulfulled. Recently my husband was there and was told that a new breather box was needed as a crucial part was missing and it would cost $475 to replace the entire unit as the part couldnt be purchased seperately. My husband became angry and argued that sand mtn was the only people to ever service the car and it had to of bwcome damaged under their care and it would need to be paid for by the dealership not us considering the vehicle had other issues that still hadnt been addressed by them. The service manager, Troy said he would check into it and be in touch. This was the only return call made from the dealership, we were told that the breather box would be fixed at their cost at our next visit. We went in today and wouldnt you know they found a way to get the missing $2 bolt that would have cost us $475 to fix. They are scam artist trying to take advantage of honest people. We simply eanted our issues addressed and resolved instead we have been given the run around and been hussled. Please remember we were told that the entire unit was going ti have ti be replaced at our cost but conviently when the charge was from their pocket they randomly had the cheap fix. The oil problem still hasnt been resolved except that oil will have to be added between oil changes and a shrug and Im sorry. Spending top dollar for a vehicle and not have resolution to issues brought to them is unacceptable. I love my camry and even though my husband says we will never own another i would argue. The dealership prays on the weak and will scam the custmer to their own benefit. We will never purchase another car feom them. BUYER BEWARE!!! More

our visit with sandmountain toyota has been an excellent one each time we buy a new car which has been 3 in the last 2 years. everytime we go into service we are greeted with a warm smile from troy who alwa one each time we buy a new car which has been 3 in the last 2 years. everytime we go into service we are greeted with a warm smile from troy who always calls us by name.they always have fixed the cars right the first time with one exception, which was on a one year old camry hybrid which kept stalling out on us,they tried numerous times to try to figure out what the problem was, which they could not . we finally decided we had dealt with it enough and sand mountain toyota let us up grade to a new avalon not hybrid . we can not say enough great things about sand mountain toyota and all their staff. i commend mark brickey about his entire organization and we welcome them with open arms on their soon to be new dealership in albertville thanks phil and nova harrison More
Don't buy a Toyota from this place - or any car from them unless you like being treated like an idiot and want to pay too much. Salesperson lied several times to us - like telling us he didn't think there w unless you like being treated like an idiot and want to pay too much. Salesperson lied several times to us - like telling us he didn't think there was any rebate available (there was, $1,000) and that the available factory option of cruise control needed to be "installed" for an extra $200 over suggested list price. They also charge a dealership "prep fee" which is $300 of extra profit over list price. We we caught the salesman in a lie or false statement, he would leave to "check with his sales manager" and then return with new figures that ended up at the same total price. He was proud of his twenty-year record with Toyota - and we can only quess at the number of poor, foolish folks these people have "robbed"! While Sand Mountain Toyota was the worst of our local Toyota dealers, we were amazed that they all seemed to us "old fashioned" used-car sales techniques we thought dies out years ago. Apparently, Toyota has such a loyal following they can charge almost any price and use any tactic to sell their cars. While the salesman's approach was plainly ridiculous to any informed shopper, we can't put all the blame on him. The sales manager and general manager/owner of Sand Mountain Toyota sets the policies for their sales and service folks to follow. So stay very far away from this dealership! After such terrible treatment at this and other area Toyota dealerships, we shopped competing makes such as Honda, Nissan, and Mazda and found most of them honest business folk selling good products at reasonable prices without deception. Of course, we purchased something other than a Toyota and very happy we did! More
