First off, I bypassed the Pleasanton and Walnut Creek dealerships both of whom are much closer to where I live to come patronage and utilize your San Leandro location. I arrived at a very slow time of the morning and spoke to Elijah Ellison-Bolton. He was not the most friendly or helpful person to accommodate a simple oil change. His low audible delivery and reluctance to answer questions about my vehicle are a desirable trait or persona for a service advisor. I decided to upgrade from the email special that brought me in to the Platinum Synthetic with Tire Rotations. The work process was rather quick but trying to pay was quite the opposite. After I arrived, another 8-10 parties also came in and needed various work. My job finished quickly. I was instructed to wait back in line to pay my bill behind all whom were waiting. I tried various other pay possibilities of the parts department and general sales office of whom none could or would help me. My timing was such that I had to pick up my son from preschool and time was of essence, hence the speedy line of oil changes. I ended up waiting nearly a half an hour to simply pay with my truck blocking the exit the entire time. My payment transaction took approximately 30 seconds and I finally left once accommodated. I was late picking up my son which incurs payment penalties. How is that nobody in the entire dealership could take my money and have me on my way? What if 20 people had come in, would I have been expected to wait upwards of a couple hours to pay? Doesn’t seem like you have your process quite right there. I own both a Dodge Viper and a Dodge Ram 1500. The lack of service I’m getting at not only your dealership but the other local dodge dealers doesn’t encourage me to buy more dodge products. We have other branded sport cars that far outperform dodge at every level of service and quality. More

He was very attentive and promised the service would be completed within 3 hours due to 2 recalls on the Jeep that would take additional time. Fortunately with Jeffrey's attention regarding the committed time, my Jeep was completed and out of there in about 2 1/2 hours which made me feel great about the service commitment made at the time of arrival. Had to go 5 times for a simple recall Alija is the worst service rep, his answer is always (I don’t know). I made an appointment over the phone with Who I believe was named Jose for 9AM he said it was fine to drop it off earlier since i work before they open. So I took my truck the day of the appointment left my key in the drop box like they instructed me to do. Then I go on my way to work, at this point it’s 5pm and I haven’t heard back from them I called them because I need my truck and also need to know what’s going on. Someone answers and they transferred me to Elijah who’s on the RO as my service Rep he then tells me that nothing was done to the truck and that he doesn’t know why his name is in the RO so they had my truck all day and they didn’t even bothered to check why it was there. At this point I’m irritated and head down to the dealer to speak to a sup or manager and of course they’re a no one I can talk to so after arguing with all the service advisor there I finally came to an agreement with another advisor name Gerardo who gave me his word that if I went back on Monday everything would get done. So I come back Monday talk to a new service advisor they had it all day and of course nothing was done because they didn’t have “parts and special tools” for it. So now i have to bring it back in 2 more days, Wednesday’s come and I get Elijah as my service rep again. Around 4pm he calls me to tell me that my rear glass arrived broken and that I have to bring it back again in a week for them to order another rear glass. They should have check the glass before they even scheduled me to come in that day. I ask him about the recall and the check engine. And he tells me I don’t know what recall? Seriously that’s what my initial appointment was fun and if you run my vin or truck info it should show that it has a recall it’s not my job to tell you what’s needs to be done to my truck. Anyways another week goes by and I take it back again at this point alija walks away when I show up and genardo helps me this time everything finally gets done couldn’t get any paper work because “their system was always down”. I went back the week after to drop off another car for an oil change of course alija avoided me and walked away even though he wasn’t doing anything and made me wait for genardo to get off the phone. 2pm and they call me that the truck is ready I’m glad this got done the first visit head to the dealership to pick it up and when I pulled up the truck was parked out front I didn’t think anything of it. Ended up spending 20 minutes because they couldn’t find the truck or the keys i had to tell them the truck was parked out front and they left the key in it More

2-hour service appointment takes 24 hours I checked in at 12:15 for my 12:00 appointment, which required two hours of labor. The vehicle was promised for completion at 3:15. However, there was I checked in at 12:15 for my 12:00 appointment, which required two hours of labor. The vehicle was promised for completion at 3:15. However, there was an extended line of perhaps two dozen vehicles ahead of me, and the service advisor said I should leave it and come back because it may not be completed until late in the afternoon, or perhaps the following day because they were short staffed. He arranged a shuttle to take me home, which I appreciated. The following day, 24 hours later, I was notified the vehicle was complete. Again, the service advisor arranged a shuttle back to the shop. I paid the invoice, and the desk attendant said he would bring the vehicle around to the driveway, where he would turn it over to me. After waiting in the driveway for 10 minutes or so, I went back into the shop where I saw the advisor dealing with other customers. I also saw my vehicle in a service bay. I asked him what was happening, and he said no one could find my car key. I said I would be in the waiting room where he could bring the key when he found it. After another 15-20 minutes, I looked out the window and saw my vehicle in the visitor parking lot. As no service advisor was at the desk, I walked to the vehicle to see if he was still with the vehicle. It was locked, so I returned to the desk. Finally, after waiting some more, I received my key. When I returned to the vehicle and started it, a screen message popped up stating that "oil change required". Although that service had just been performed, the technician had not cleared this message and reset it for the future service. I went back to the service desk - my advisor was not in sight. I finally found an advisor at the vending machine near the parts counter and told him the situation. After five more minutes consulting other employees, he went me back to the vehicle, and after a few minutes the code message was cleared. In my opinion, an appointment should be honored, and the two hours of work should have been completed while I waited. In my opinion, this company is understaffed - there were extended periods where no service advisor was at the service desk. In my opinion, a professional service shop does not lose the key to a vehicle. In my opinion, a technician should clear the computer when a required service is completed. Consequently, I will forward these comments to RAM BusinessLink so they may be able to advise you how to resolve your service deficiencies. More

I understand that it takes time and issues arise so I didn't think anything about it when I wasn't called on day 2. On the 4th day however I called. It took almost 9 tries to finally get someone and at one point I sat on hold for 40 min and never got helped. When I picked up my vehicle I learned that zero work had been done and the car had been sitting in the shop for no reason. I was never called or notified of this in any way. All that was done was a test drive. In no was does it take 4 days to test drive a car. This is completely unprofessional. More

This location needs to go under a new management asap. More
