Ask for Anthony Morales!! Buying a new vehicle can be intimidating, but it should be a rewarding experience. I think we have all stereotyped ‘the car salesman’ and dread meeting that person to purchase intimidating, but it should be a rewarding experience. Anthony is nothing of the sort, he listened to what I was looking for as far as features and competitive pricing. I felt that his guidance and negotiations were extremely fair. I would recommend him to my family and friends. Thanks to the rest of the team at San Leandro! Phil Anima, the Finance Manager, and Rory were very comprehensive as they completed my transaction. I just bought a new 2014 Jeep Cherokee and it wouldnt have been possible without the help from San Leandro Chrysler Dodge Ram, espcially the help from Anthony Morales. I normally try to shy away from car salesmen as most of the pressure you into buying someting you do not want or making you feel obligated to buy from them. Anthony was the complete opposite, he was actally looking out for me and what was doing what was in my best interest. I called and got Anthony probably 3 weeks prior to today and explained to him my situation and how upside down I am in my car and told him there probably isnt a chance he could do anything to help me but I am calling for advice. Anthony spent the next 20-30 min talking to me explaining things i should do etc. I ended up getting some financial help from my parents and Anthony was the first one i called. He left such a good impression from our first conversation that I called an left him a message and told him i wanted to come get a car. Anthony then called me back on his day off at home with his kids and spent an hour or so crunching numbers etc putting a deal together that made this all possible. I just want to say thank you to Anthony, the GM and San Leandro Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Couldnt be in this new car without you guys. More
I spent all day Saturday out and about car shopping. I had been turned down at a couple different places in the area. I knew that it would be a long day anyway car shopping it always is. I was out and about with the family and had visited 3 dealerships prior to walking into Chysler/Dodge. At first I thought I was gonna get the same song and dance I had gotten all day. By this time it was I believe 830 or so and the dealership was closing in a half hour. I noticed that there was no salesmen on the lot and my family and I were just walking around freely. After about 5-10 minutes or so Anthony came out I guess he had saw us peeking into cars and he was real cool and not pushy at all. I told him about my experience so far during the day and that it was my cousin's choice to come over and check out the lot not mine. Anthony showed me a couple of Jeep Patriots that I wasn't really feeling so we went inside and Anthony showed me the used cars that were available and I decided upon test driving a Dodge charger 2010. We test drove the Charger I was glad that he didn't mind that the family tagged along because I value their opinions. After the test drive Anthony brought me into discuss numbers and I told him what I had to work with and what my credit score was and that it was close to Christmas and what I payment amount I could afford. Anthony showed me a couple offers he discussed with the finance manager Phil Anima and we were able to come to an agreement. I met with Phil and he was real easy going and explained clearly what my payments would be based on my down payment. Both Anthony and Phil made me feel welcomed and stayed a hour pass closing time to make sure I was satisfied with the vehicle. Anthony also gave my cousin and I some great advice advice on our improving our credit for future purchases. I would recommend any one who is shopping for a vehicle to check out San Leandro Dodge and ask for Anthony. More
I actually got to know the team that sold me my car and a few other guys at the dealership as well. I have the feeling that these guys are my friends, which is probably exactly what a car salesman has as his few other guys at the dealership as well. They want you to be happy, so be prepared for a hard sell and glad handing and caring service. My salesman was Anthony and though new to the business he was very helpful and communicative the whole way through. His manager Danny is a very experienced car salesman who has probably seen every type of situation. He is talkative and outgoing and paternal in a pretty relaxed style for an aggressive salesman. He can be a little overwhelming, but I liked him. I bought the new Jeep Cherokee and I feel satisfied that I got a good price after sticking to my guns. I got what I wanted and that feeling of extra service and care as well. That being said I recommend that anyone who goes into a dealership comes prepared. I have walked into other dealerships with only a vague idea of what I wanted and that is not a good experience. Prepared means you should know the car you want to see, know what it costs, know the options available, and you can even find out what others have paid at truecar.com so that you can negotiate intelligently. Keep your budget in mind. These guys will work with you and the more respect you can get as an educated consumer, the better things will go. I got the price I wanted and a decent loan rate, which turned out to be much less than they first quoted. Take a tough negotiating stance without being unfriendly and they will respect your goals. Remember to be prepared for the sales pitch for extra warranties and maintenance contracts and security systems. I did not buy any of those. Buyer beware. Since I bought the car I have also had prompt responses to questions from my salesman Anthony and the Mike the finance guy, rounding out my experience as very satisfied. More

He took his time with us going over the different cars that would work for us. We did not feel rushed and felt very comfortable the entire time. I would highly recommend Anthony to anyone that is looking for a new or used car. After we found the car we wanted a 2012 Chrysler 200 we met with the GM Sam Lawani also very friendly and he was able to get us the price that we could afford for the car even though the asking price was much more than what we wanted to pay. :) He also gave us a Starbucks gift card as a little extra bonus. :) The Finance Manager Phil Anima was also very friendly and able to get us an Excellent rate to finance our new car. He also took his time with us (which we were there 1 hour after closing time) and he explained every step of the process so we understood it very well. I have bought many cars and this experience with San Leandro Chrysler Dodge Jeep was the BEST by far. If you are looking for a new or used car I would highly recommend you go and see Anthony Morales. He will find you a great car and help you with get the price you want to pay. More
