First I want to say that the Service Center was great. They deserve higher than 5 stars. They never once guided me wrong and they have no problem distancing themselves from the sharks who work down bellow on the sales floor. The sales floor was an absolute mess! I recently brought my car into get serviced. No problems there, staff was quick to assist me and get my car taken care of. However, maybe an hour later, I get a text message from the "sales manager" Josh. Apparently, they "saw that my car was in the service bay and the car was a highly requested car and they wanted to purchase it from me." I told them I was interested in hearing what they had to say. Then it went nothing but down hill from there. Important note; it took over an hour and a half for them to give me an offer on my vehicle. They proceeded to get frustrated when I decided to decline their ridiculously low ball offer of 18k for my 3 year old '22 Hybrid Touring CRV. Then they tried to convince me to Lease a vehicle that was just 100% out of my financial ability. I told them I was not interested in that and they started to get aggressive. I started to leave and this random older "Corporate" person came out and tried to give me this sob story that he was buying cars to donate to the LA fire people. Side note, I'm from Southern California and have family affected, so instantly I didn't like this dudes energy. How dare you use this as a way to try and get me to sell my vehicle to you for less. Essentially, he told me that my car wasn't going to last longer than a brand new lease. I might as well take almost a 12k loss on the vehicle so that I could spend twice that and have absolutely nothing to show for it later. They said I'd be stupid not to take their horrible offer. Finally, after I built up the strength to leave (my mistake, I'm a nice guy and I have anxiety so I try to always avoid confrontation and be respectful of people) I got this "corporate" jerk off to let me leave. However, now as I'm finally off the sales floor and in the stairwell, a complete unknown other manager caught me in the service center. He stops me and initially tries to scare me by telling me that I had a couple rusty bolts! (ohhhhh noooooo!). Mind you, I purchased xxxx near every warranty available along with a 5 year maintenance plan. So I mean that should be covered right!? I just waived him off and said oh cool thanks for letting me know. Again, this was a sales man and not a technician. Finally, 3 HOURS LATER!, I was able to talk to the service center people and hear about the services they did. This is what brought the whole day back around to a 5 star experience. The service person, Yessica, spoke with me about my car and ensured me that my car was in great shape and that it would last forever if I continued to take care of it. This calmed my nerves and made me much more comfortable with the experience. So long story short, do not, and I truly mean do not, go to Honda SF to trade in or sell your vehicle. The sales people are sharks who will do anything to try and get you into an absolutely horrible deal for you if it means they get a sale. The service center has been nothing but amazing, they have never charged me for anything I didn't know of before coming in, and they have never tried to scare me into anything. I have actually gone in before to have my car serviced and they looked at the car and said I wouldn't need to do it for almost a whole other year. They are amazing! But seriously, only the service center gets this 5 stars. The sales floor gets a negative 5. More

Last week I phoned SF Honda to make an appointment for a safety recall on an out-of-state Honda Fit that I recently purchased used. No-one picked up the phone, so I gave up and made an appointment on-line safety recall on an out-of-state Honda Fit that I recently purchased used. No-one picked up the phone, so I gave up and made an appointment on-line; that was easy. I entered that the appointment was for a fuel pump safety recall for my Honda Fit. Dropped off the car at the appointed time - that was easy. A few minutes later, I got a text message - SF Honda did not have the part, so they could not do the work that day. Could I leave the car overnight, or come back the next day? I decided to bring the car back the next day, and then they did the work. The following day, I got an email saying I had not kept my appointment! So the work done was good, everyone was helpful and friendly - but your computer systems just don't function very well! More
The service was done in a timely manner and well, BUT the drop off was a problem. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment and waited almost an hour after the appointment time to drop off my car. I was t drop off was a problem. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment and waited almost an hour after the appointment time to drop off my car. I was told by the staff that the appointments were not real and drop off for service was first come, first served. This felt made me late to work and felt like a significant disrespect to my time. The whole team at the 9th Ave location was super professional. Ty got everything taken care of and my car was ready really quickly. I have not had such good experience at other dealers so I was very professional. Ty got everything taken care of and my car was ready really quickly. I was kept waiting for nearly an hour to have my car checked in when I had scheduled an appointment. The issue I believe should have been caught and brought to my attention during a previous service I h checked in when I had scheduled an appointment. The service representative tried to address my concerns and expedite my service. Sadly I was still left frustrated by the whole experience. More
Once I got my appointment, the Lombard street service center was professional and friendly during servicing. I did try calling several times to get an appointment and no one picked up. I had to call th center was professional and friendly during servicing. I did try calling several times to get an appointment and no one picked up. I had to call the Van Ness location and they transferred my call to Lombard to set up appointment. I did not want to make an appointment on line but wanted to speak to someone. The phone system does not take messages so someone could call you back, that’s my only complaint. More
