It’s all for the money and nothing for the customer Went in for check engine light showing cylinder 6 misfire (p0306) as well as the climate control blower motor. I also told them that there was a known existing issue with my engine’s cylinder head and that I’d seen where it had been covered under warranty for many people. Also stated blower motor was only working intermittently and making noise. A few days later I was then told initial diagnostic did not reveal issue with engine and that the blower motor was fine, even though I knew it wasn’t. Paid an additional diagnostic fee for them to “dig deeper” and was told they would check compression, etc etc. After the alleged deep diagnostic they came back and told me it was Because all of my plugs were bad and it would be another 900 bucks. Suspicious at this point I picked up my vehicle, paid for the diagnostic, and took it to another service center. Blower motor was in fact bad, and had to be replaced. Would have easily been covered under my extended warranty but since I did not take it to a Mopar shop, I came out of pocket. And rather than an entire tuneup (plugs, coils), I simply needed one spark plug that had fouled out. 15 dollar fix and half an hours labor. The second shop also told me that their deeper diagnostic was a farce and that the only thing that had been removed was the engine cover, unmoved dust being the key indicator not to mention clearly untouched factory torqued bolts. If they did anything at all it was nothing more than hook up a computer and tell me what the screen said. I contacted the service manager with this disturbing information, and he reluctantly asked me for receipts and pictures. Expecting them to make right on their negligence, I provided both along with a follow up email and never heard anything back even weeks later. San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram’s service department either has absolute buffoons in their garage, or is simply managed by a bunch of crooks. In short, $1300 non warrantied for a spark plug with my blower still left unrepaired, or $150 for both items fixed and my vehicle running like new. I’d hate to see how they treat little old ladies who don’t know any better. More

My problem is that I made an appointment for an oil change and she pretty much told me that they are useless because anybody can show up right before u without an appointment and get service sooner. I went for a 1pm appointment and was not out until 430. You guys should just tell the customer that it is a first come first serve service instead of setting up appointments for the "Express Service" a 3 hour wait with an appointment is not Express. More
Recall sevice I was notified regarding a recall relative to the Cruise Control on my Ram pickup. The notice indicated it wouldn’t take long for the repair. I made an appointment to which I was a few minutes early. It was a bit disorganized as the service department was dealing with numerous customers with the same issue as mine. Ultimately everyone in the service department busied themselves with the onslaught and remained friendly throughout. It took a little more than 2 hours for the repair to be completed (about an hour longer than was indicated in the original notice). More

Service Experience July/August 2018 Incompetent service advisor. Dropped vehicle off (with appointment) on Monday morning. Advisor stated “may not get to it until tonight or Tuesday AM.” Incompetent service advisor. Dropped vehicle off (with appointment) on Monday morning. Advisor stated “may not get to it until tonight or Tuesday AM.” Understood. Expected call by Tuesday AM. Wednesday AM still had not heard anything. Called Wednesday and service advisor couldn’t locate paperwork and truck had not been touched. Didn’t have an assessment of work needed until Thursday AM. In the following days the service advisor never initiated calls to us to inform us of vehicle status. We had to initiate every call to determine status. Additionally, vehicle had to stay at dealership for an additional week while we were out of state on vacation, even though we took vehicle in for repairs with plenty of time to spare for repairs to be done in timely manner. 100% disappointed in this service experience (when we have used this facility numerous times in past years). We will not be returning to this location for future service. (Also, requested state inspection which was never done. Emails with insurance information were never returned or replied to.) More
