Mrs. Hernandez, I wanted to make a public apology after our telephone conversation yesterday to reiterate how sorry I am about your vin number being transposed with an identical unit that was sold around the same time as yours in 2014. This is unacceptable and we have made many changes since 2014 to ensure that this does not happen again. We are not perfect but with the help of technology we hope to minimize this from ever happening again. We have invested heavily in multiple systems that were not available in 2014 such as vin scanners and customer experience software that allows us to scan the vin from the vehicle that our customers buy and transmit that info to the business office for the documents that we prepare. This prevents one of our sales and leasing consultants from writing down the wrong number. I have also addressed your concern with the employee that took your initial call to make sure he is more sensitive to any situation involving one of our customers. He was just caught off guard by how angry you were, and you have every right to be..We have taken corrective action and take your feedback seriously. We have made a complete change in our executive management team since 2014 and rest assured we put the customer at the center of everything we do, because without YOU there is no need for us to be here. I am very involved in the day to day operations and always talk to customers as I make my rounds, I asked my finance director to take care of you simply because that is his expertise.
