The Internet sales team representative, Valentin (Val) Panayotov, responded to our online Inquiry faster than I could get to my phone and check my email. The vehicle options he sent matched and exceeded our expectations. We were in contact within 10 minutes and scheduled to see one of the vehicles right away at 7pm that evening. In short, we bought that loaded Ram 2500 truck, and drove home with it that evening. Val has been amazing through the whole process and is the person you need to purchase a vehicle from. Thanks Val! Better than I anticipated. In general, I *hate* dealing with car salesmen/women. Thankfully, San Antonio Dodge has salespeople as personable, friendly, and knowledgeable as Mark Cantu. I immediately felt at ease talking to Mark and he happily answered all of my questions - even the most minor. I would easily recommend him to anyone I knew looking to buy. Since we had to come back the next day, Mark was with a customer. He apologized and handed us off to Adam to walk us through anything we needed. Adam was also very personable, friendly and knowledgeable - even going so far as to track down an answer to my question why two similar cars had different prices. He could have made something up, but didn't. He came out and pointed out each feature that differed so that I understood where the difference lie, and allowed me to make an informed decision on whether those featured mattered to me. I'd also feel comfortable recommending Adam to friends or family looking to buy. San Antonio Dodge should be proud to have these two on their showroom floor. More
Incorrect contract documentation - Ralf Marsh On February 17, 2017, we signed a contract on a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 with San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep. We assumed that all of the paper work was ac On February 17, 2017, we signed a contract on a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 with San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep. We assumed that all of the paper work was accurate and complete at that time. On March 18, 2017, I started receiving phone calls from Chrysler Credit informing me that I was past due on the 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 that I traded in to purchase the Dodge Ram 2500. I contacted Chrysler Credit and they informed me that the trade in had not been paid off. I contacted San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep, and talked to the Finance Service Director, Ralph Marsh. He informed me that I needed to come in and sign a new contract because when they wrote the first contract they left off the sales tax. (Which is very difficult to understand how this could be left out, and NA typed in). I asked him why we were not contacted and he said were not able to get in touch with us. They had entered the wrong phone number on the contract, but never looked through the paper work we filled out, which had our contact information on it. We were told that nothing on the contract would change, so we went in on March 21, 2017, and signed a second contract. On May 1, 2017, we came home from vacation and found three late notices from the finance company, Security Services, for the new Ram 2500 that we had purchased. One of those was a Final Notice. We were 28 days past due on a payment for the contract we signed on February 17, 2017. Payment on that contract was due on April 3, 2017. We did not make that payment since the 2nd contract payment was not due until May 5, 2017. Again, at no time were we contacted by San Antonio Dodge to inform us of any problems with the paper work. After seeing the late payment notices, I took the day off work on May 1, 2017, and went to Security Service Federal Credit Union to investigate the late notices. They informed me that they never received the 2nd contract, and only had the contract from February 17, 2017 in their system. They said that I needed to talk to the dealership about the contract. I contacted Ralph Marsh about the late notices and he said there was a hold up on getting the first contract paid off. My wife and I were very upset that this had not been taken care of so we went to the dealership to talk to Ralph in person. I showed him the late notices, and he explained what was going on. He said he would have a check sent on May 1, 2017, and that he would send me a copy of it in email. He did also offer to cover our first service on the new truck. That afternoon I waited, but never received a copy of the check. Ralph Marsh actually told me that I needed to stay on him to get it taken care of. I told him that I should not have to stay on him, and he should take care of it without me saying anything. I contacted Ralph Marsh again on May 2, 2017 and asked him why I did not get a copy of the check, and he said they were still working on it. I informed him that he promised to have it taken care of on May 1, 2017. Later that day I did receive a copy of the check, and Ralph Marsh told me that now I could contact Security Service Federal Credit Union and arrange a way to make a payment. After all is done, it turns out that our monthly payment also went up from $644.95 per month $675.42. This is an additional $30.47 per month that we were not planning on. $2285.25 additional charges that were not included the original agreement. We would not have signed the original contract with that of $675.42 payment. We would have paid additional down to keep the payments lower. More
