Customer ripped off Took care of the recall but overcharged me to replace a fuel pump. That’s why I never get repairs at the dealerships. Paying $1600 for a fuel pump replace which only takes a hour to lift up the rear seat to install it. These dealerships should be ashamed. More
Forced to pay for service that was not done. I live in Northwest Indiana. Decided to take a trip to San Antonio, TX on 12/23/18. As we were driving to TX, my brakes started squeaking loud, Servic I live in Northwest Indiana. Decided to take a trip to San Antonio, TX on 12/23/18. As we were driving to TX, my brakes started squeaking loud, Service Electronic Stability Control, ServiceAntilock Brake System, and AWD System Temporarily Unavailable lights came on. The lights were on the whole ride until the next day. We arrived in San Antonio Sunday night. I called the dealership on Monday morning, 12/24/18, since they were the only dealership open. I made an appointment for Wednesday morning, 12/26/18 @ 7:30 am. We dropped the car off and left it. I stated to the representative, Oscar Barrera, exactly what my issues were. Needless to say, pulling in the bay, the brakes were squeaking and he (Oscar) commented on the squeaking. Oscar called me on 12/27 stating that my car needed an update and that the brakes weren't squeaking when it was test driven. He stated that he could keep it another day and see if the squeak returned and let me know. So, they did. I called on Saturday regarding the status of my car. Oscar was off and no one knew the status and I was told a service manager would call me back. I did NOT receive a callback. I called Monday morning, 12/31. Oscar called me back stating that the vehicle was still not squeaking. He stated that they checked the pads, the rotors, and the calipers and that everything was good. He stated they updated the codes on the car and that there was a $139.95 charge + tax. The dealership back in Indiana called San Antonio dealership and spoke with them and they brought the price down to deductible price of $100.00. They told the representative at Napleton Dodge Jeep Chrysler in Lansing, IL that the brakes were squeaking but didn't know why. Needless to say, I went to get my vehicle to find a big white X on my driver window, my rims, tires, wheel wells or the area around the area did not have any fingerprints on them and the vehicle was not washed or cleaned. So they had not been touched (I have black rims that are dirty from driving), and the brakes were squeaking when I pulled off. How did they check the rotors, pads, and calipers when you didn't remove any of the tires/rims? Also, on the vehicle inspection, "Brakes not inspected on this visit" is checked. So did they check them or not. Also, the speedometer in/out listed on the paperwork is exactly the same, so how did you test drive the car to check the bakes and codes? Service was horrible. I was not contacted regarding the issues with my vehicle before attempting to so call fix anything. Didn't have the option to say yes or no if I wanted anything done, but yet was charged for what? They claimed they fixed the lights and codes by the update but the same lights returned and remained on for the entire ride home on 01/04/2019. If this is what the problem was and this is what I am being charged for then why is that not on any paperwork. My brakes continue to squeak and the lights are still on, then you charged me for service you did not perform. More
