I traded in a truck with greater value than the SUV i received in return. All i asked for was an even trade plus the $500 credit for checking in online (in addition to a gift of car washes). i was prom received in return. All i asked for was an even trade plus the $500 credit for checking in online (in addition to a gift of car washes). i was promised the check for $500 that same day (immediately or at least within 2ish hours). i did not have that credit listed in the paperwork as i was told i would be issued the check onsite. Then, the financial guy prepared the paperwork and signature and asked me for money. i had to advise him of the inaccurate information. as for the check, i kept getting blown off and the date for issuance kept getting pushed off. i felt like i was more of a hinderance than a customer that was appreciated. rather than being greeted as "hey kameron, how is your day? reference the check, we are working on it", i was met with "we are sending it in the mail". my sales rep seemed to want to help me but wasnt proactive in working the check issue. i had to keep requesting the check and became nervous as the paperwork did not include the credit/check. i would have had it included had i known they werent going to follow through with the verbal agreement. its not like they were getting the short end of the deal. i was very disappointed and prepared to make a report for fraud. it was only after presenting the information to a sales supervisor (of which i didnt get a returned call all day but rather had to make a second call back at the end of the day) that action was taken. i received the check within two days. its the lack of trust and the feeling that i wasnt being treated as a respected customer. bad business. Got a 2019 Tiguan. Sam was really helpful and patient since my Bf was first time buyer.
