Brought in Grand Caravan with a problem where it would not go over 35 mph. Service department told me it may be the transmission and they had to diagnose the problem which could take 2 hours or more to co not go over 35 mph. Service department told me it may be the transmission and they had to diagnose the problem which could take 2 hours or more to complete. I told them to go ahead with the diagnostic. They contacted me a few days later and told me the transmission needed to be rebuilt for $7800. I asked about the cause of the transmission problem and the service advisior said they didn't know. I asked about why rebuild a transmission if you don't know the original problem, and didn't get a direct answer. I asked if they found the low fluid level and the diagnostic codes in the computer (which I found before taking the van to Sames), and was told the following: 'You have to take the transmission apart to find out what is wrong with it.' Sames Dodge took the transmission out of my van and did not follow any of the Dodge/Stellantis 'service procedures' to troubleshoot the problem. I confirmed the service procedures were not followed after talking to Dodge directly. We got the van back from Sames Dodge with the transmission and a million little parts in a large oily box on the 3rd row seats. More

I called and spoke to Neil Mitchel and tell him that my tire pressure sensor is out, my satellite antenna was not working properly and my brake light had just started to come on. he say no problem come and drop it off early monday morning. I drop it off with Neil Mitchell I review again what was listed above. I ask Neil how long do you think it will take? He responds with a couple of days. I get into my uber to head back into Austin. after two days i call up and ask if the truck is ready. He tells me that it should be getting in today. i ask Done today? he say no it should be getting looked at today. I'm annoyed but it is getting looked at today and these are relatively minor issue according to Neil. He say he will call me back when he has information. Two more days go by and i call to get a status. Neil tells me a bunch of stuff about brakes, rotors burnt wiring harnesses and tells me that it will cost about 6000 dollars. I express my shock at the price and we discuss how to get it to a reasonable number by getting rid of most of the items that needed work. with only the brakes and the wire replacement its still quoted at 2,700 dollars. I reluctantly tell him please proceed. i call back on friday to see f the work is done. He then tells me that the parts will take over a week to come in. now im looking at two weeks with no car (ITs already been there a week) and I just cant do that. after three day of messages we play phone tag for three days and never talk again but i get a message saying my car can be picked up. I drove to get my car and Neil is visibly upset. for some reason he is calling me chris which is not my name. when i corrected him he then spent about 20 minutes with zero communication clicking keys on his terminal. he then leaves the room and after 20 more minutes i have to go find him and he tells me that he is finishing the paper work and I will be charged with diagnostic fee. he is highly agitated now but stopped just short of telling me what that fee would be. he finishes his paperwork and hands me off the to the cashier. the very nice young lady tells me that will be $358.15. FOR NO WORK DONE! I asked Neil why is fee is so high? Why didn't you let me know when i was dropping of my vehicle that if i didn't agree to have the work done it would still cost me 358 dollars? and why are you so personally upset with me? His response to me was and i quote "your lucky I'm not charging you a 10% parts restocking fee" when a dearship doesnt even have the parts to complete a brake job after keeping your vehicle for over a week and returns it to you with the dash panels on the seat. (I have pictures) they have not done their job in my opinion. alex the mechanic came out and shook my hand and apologized stating that parts just aren't available anywhere. This I understand. however Neil You sir are terrible at your job and this was the worst experience i have ever had with a dealership. I expected fair and knowledgeable treatment and what i get was "sure we can do that." when you knew you couldn't because there were no parts. your diagnostic was essentially restating back to me what i already told you was wrong. You need to let people know that they are agreeing to a significant fee by just handing the keys for you TAKE A LOOK. This was not done. The cherry on the cake an additional charge of $26.40 for waste removal fee for repairs completed. AND NINE ADDITIONAL MILES ON MY ODMETER Disgusting service from texas oldest dealership. More

Ron Lee and joe are great guys to work with . I called and they worked my deal over the phone drove over 2 hrs to get the truck and they never tried to change the deal.
