I was at your dealership on Friday 6/23/23 as I was interested in your 2023 Kia Sorrento hybrid EX. I test drove it and everything was going great. I also had brought in my trade-in vehicle and was planning on financing with Kia and obtaining Kia’s additional warranties. Originally my car was valued at 30,000 and the Kia Sorrento was given to me at 42,000. I politely told the lady that was helping me that I cannot do that. I will need more for my car and also less for the Kia. That is when Cole the sales manager came over and we spoke and he had told me that he would do the Kia for $39,900 and that was his final offer. I asked if I could get more because Chevy was actually offering me $34,500 and I really did not want to go any lower. He leaves and comes back and tells me he can give me my car for 33,000. I still was not completely happy. I texted my husband while I was there and told him what the amount was given and he had told me to just wait and shop around so I left. Unfortunately, because I am pregnant and have a child out of school it’s not easy for me to shop around and drive to other dealerships. So I texted Ethan and asked what the amount that was being given to me for my trade-in if it was 33,000 or 34k because I was really hoping to get at least 34,000. He then says oh no we are giving your car 30,000 appraisal. I was shocked because I didn’t realize that in a matter of a couple days you all would change the price on me. I was never explained that nor was I ever given a piece of paper showing what I would be given for my vehicle, It was just Coles word against mine. So when I called Cole today and asked him what was going on. He told me that the most he could do is 32,000 I said but why would we go down on the price after I was given 33,000 I had told him if he sticks with 33,000 and sticks with the Kia at $39,900 I will go in right now and make a deal. He said he would contact the general manager to see what we can do. I had explained to Cole numerous times that he had given me 33,000 for my car when I was first in there on Friday and that he should not go back on his word and lie and say he never gave that to me, after several hours, I called back to check in and he said that the general manager had told him no he cannot go higher on my trade in or lower on the Kia he stated that if he gives me more for my car, I would need to buy the Kia at market adjusted price which is ridiculous! I asked him if he had made that his general manager aware that he give he gave me a different price verbally and is now going back on his word, and he replied, and said yes, I let my general manager know that and there’s nothing we can do. I’ve been to several dealerships And I have never experienced the service that I experienced with you all I am a woman of my word, and I expect you all to keep your word and honor that I can understand if I had waited several weeks and that offer was no longer on the table however, it was a matter of days and I was not told that that offer will expire anytime soon. But again it’s my word against his. I just hope that he can sleep at night knowing that he lied. I am bringing this to your attention because again I have never been treated the way I have with you all at any other dealership and would hate for anyone else to be treated that way as well. I am a local and have several friends and family members in the area, and trust me when I say that I will never recommend them going to the Kia in Fredericksburg even though I’m pregnant and struggling to get around I’ve learned my lesson to and should have listened to my friend to not go to your dealership. I now know why. More

Since this dealership was 2 hours away, I called and reached Ronald Crudup who was able to clarify the available incentives and provided a total out the door price. After I reached a deal I made a security deposit on the car to lock it down for the next day's trip. That was Thursday, June 22. I drove down with my wife on Friday, June 23rd and my car was ready to go, detailed and parked up front. Following a very pleasant interaction with the finance office, Khalid Naiem took his time to walk through the car features with me and even recommended a very good reasonably priced restaurant for dinner. I've had a great experience and highly recommend this dealership even if it is a bit out of the day. Really wish all Kia dealers would be this consumer friendly. More
I recently bought a new Kia from here and had a good experience. My salesman was Khalid and he was great. He was very accommodating, easy to talk to, not pushy, and relatable. He made the process easy and listened to our concerns. The process took forever because there were only 2 finance people there and it was was a Saturday! Worst day to buy a car LOL. My biggest problem was the $4000 dealership markup on the vehicle that included no extra upgrades to the car. Be aware the vending machine will keep your credit card account open unless you push the orange button to closeout the sale!! I got 2 charges on mine that we did not make! So I had to bring my car in to get the back sunroof cover fixed because it was not closing all the way. Lee was my service guy and thought they could not get it fixed the first day he offered a rental from Enterprise. Due to a myriad of factors and Enterprise closing before i could make it there, he was able to secure me a vehicle off the lot to meet my needs. This is the type of service you expect from a dealership and has made the experience worth while. More
The buying process at Safford KIA was awful. We had our KIA Sportage PHEV at home for four weeks before we finally got the car registration/taxes/financing finalized. Safford did not return emails or phone calls and when we finally spoke to the general manager for him to take some accountability of the mess his staff created, he apologized, but then he didn’t even follow through with his offer of a gift card to make up for all the time we wasted getting things corrected. We bought a brand new vehicle from Koons Ford Sterling a few months ago, and they were able to handle our active duty military registration/taxes/finances with no problem. Go buy your KIA someplace besides Safford! More
