I was happy with the price and ready to buy the car but literally had to wait until 7:30 to test drive the vehicle I was purchasing and then WAIT again forever to try to buy it. I was so excited about buying the car and then it just all went to xxxx. I don't understand what happened during my visit but it shouldn't take that long....EVER! The car I bought was at the Fairfax location, so I understand that it takes time to drive it there, but it was like pulling teeth to get Justin moving out the door to get the car and then to wait till he got back with it for us to drive. We drove it 3 miles and went back to the dealership to look at it under lights inside because by that point it was dark out and we wanted to make sure there wasn't any physical damage to the car I was about to purchase. Then waiting again to get the paperwork rolling. Then I was told that my price wasn't correct because I was financing through my bank. I had already made this perfectly clear before I arrived. That was taken care of after I threatened to walk out and go to a different dealer. And then finally I was able to start my paperwork. We finished that quickly thanks to a wonderful employee Derek Boateng! He was professional, quick and so friendly. Had it not been for Derek I would have walked out of the dealership and gone elsewhere to purchase my new car. Instead of my car getting washed and vacuumed while we were signing papers, we again had to wait for that and then follow Justin to get the gas. Then I was finally free! I would like to mention the car was washed but wasn't vacuumed. Didn't realize that till I was home. I don't know what you have to do in there but car buying shouldn't take as long as my experience took. You guys really must get it together there. While my salesman Justin was very nice, he shouldn't be on the sales floor at all! He has no idea what's going on and it shows. There was no sense of urgency on his part which made my experience so long. More
My husband I went to Nissan Dulles to test drive a Murano and Rogue on September 14, 2012. I had emailed Lorenzo in the past and he suggested we have Faraz (Fred) help us test drive the vehicles. Faraz assis and Rogue on September 14, 2012. I had emailed Lorenzo in the past and he suggested we have Faraz (Fred) help us test drive the vehicles. Faraz assisted us in determining the differences between the two models (coupled with the prior research I had done with Consumer Reports). We had not intended to purchase the day we test drove; however, after telling Fred and Lorenzo what items we were not interested in purchasing, Lorenzo came back with "an offer we couldn't refuse." At no time was either Fred or Lorenzo pushy. To paraphrase Lorenzo, they aren't married to any car, they are more interested in getting and keeping us as customers. Upon leaving the dealership, Lorenzo told us that we would receive free VA vehicle inspections at their dealership for as long as we owned the car. After purchasing the Murano SL, Fred went through the special features of the car and set up the first oil change appointment. Although, my husband and I are somewhat computer literate, Fred set up the blue tooth and navigation and saved us hours of reading the manual. Moreover, Fred delivered--on his own time--the cargo net that I had wanted and installed it for us. We have never experienced this type of customer service. In summary, in our lives we have purchased nine vehicles (keeping them 10 years or 100K miles) and we have NEVER experienced the the low pressure, customer-oriented service in the past. Without reservation, we recommend Faraz, Lorenzo, and Brown's Sterling Nissan. More
Another "switch-and-bait" shop. I saw a great price on their website, so I called. The sales manager told me it's available and I should come quickly before they close at 9pm. I visited them before 6pm after work the same night, turned out he's already gone for the day, and the car was not there but at their sister dealership. Fine, after they told me it's not a problem, I started negotiating with the sales rep and the used car manager (the general manager was out temporarily they said). They tried to pull the tricks of added fees and disqualified incentives on me, but I went along with it. After a lengthy discussion we came down to a agreed number. They even asked me to signed the worksheet next to the number. I wanted to run it by the wife, but they insisted on me signing it first. So I signed it as told. Then they went back to the general manager's office. After 20 minutes, the sales rep came back to tell me I need to add $3K more! Why did they even ask to sign the darn sheet in the first place?! They wasted 3 hours of my time and gas in the rush hour to visit them. No apology for their false advertising and mistakes either. I won't come back to this dealer ever. More

This is the best car dealer we have ever worked with, and we're in our 60s. John was an outstanding sales rep, and the two sales managers, Zabed and Lorenzo, were just fine. Dimitri was the most efficient post-sale processor I have ever had. The experience in buying our new Murano CrossCab was so positive, we went back the next week and bought our son a new Altima. Prices were great, attention to the customer were great, wasted time was minimal, etc. I promise that you will be very satisfied if you purchase a car from Brown Nissan in Ashburn. More

My husband and I went to this dealership in order to test drive both a Rogue and a Murano. We were familiar with Nissan products already, as my husband has owned two Maximas. I was contemplating buying a new vehicle, but was uncertain as to what Make/Model I wanted as well as to whether I definitely wanted to buy a vehicle at this time or not. I definitely did not want to be pressured. I simply wanted information. Mike Francella was exactly the type of salesperson I was looking for. He was professional, patient, informative, polite and low-key enough for me to relax. I test drove both vehicles and left the dealership to explore other vehicles before making a decision. I returned to the dealership two more times to test drive the Murano again. Each time, Mike took the time to let me evaluate the vehicle without pressure. I really appreciated this. I felt the vehicle should sell itself, not the salesman. Yet every question I had, he was able to answer knowledgeably, pleasantly and immediately. I would definitely recommend Mike to my friends if they are interested in a Nissan. Pat Hall, the sales manager, was also very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Both he and Mike made buying a new car as simple and stress free as possible. Plus, Nissan makes a very good product. The Nissan Murano offers practicality, comfort, safety, attractive features and luxury at a decent price. This is why I would give Brown's Dulles Nissan a rating of 5 in the areas of Customer Service, Friendliness and Overall Experience. I gave a rating of 4 in the category of price because no one ever wants to spend as much as new cars cost. More

Two years ago I purchased a 2010 Altima 3.5 SR from this dealership. I worked hard to get the best deal possible and because of that they earned a repeat customer. This past weekend (May 6th) I went back to dealership and met up with Will Weaver and Patrick Hall, both of whom were a pleasure to work with. Patrick and I had a history based on my previous purchase; this was the first time Will and I worked together. I was trading in my 2010 Altima and looking to get a 2012 Maxima. Will worked hard to ensure that I got a fair price for my Altima and Patrick sealed the deal for the new car by approving the sale price of my Altima. Patrick went a step further and ensured I understood all the financing options and was comfortable with the deal that had been worked out. Which I was. So often purchasing a new car can feel like a battle of attrition and after it's over you somehow walk away feeling like you lost. This dealership, Patrick and Will in particular, made me feel comfortable and continually stressed they were taking care of me. Instead of walking out of the dealership bruised and battered I walked out with a sweet new ride, a feeling of accomplishment and contentment, a strengthened relationship with Patrick, and new relationship with Will.
