I've been using Brown's Fairfax Mazda for service on my 1997 Mazda 626 for regular maintenance for nearly 14 years now, and I am simply delighted with the professionalism, quality of service, results of se 1997 Mazda 626 for regular maintenance for nearly 14 years now, and I am simply delighted with the professionalism, quality of service, results of service, and friendliness of the service team, but especially David Martin of the "green team." I've been a Mazda owner off and on for over 34 years, and a Browns customer since 2001, and purchased three cars from the Norther VA Browns Mazda dealers, and two vehicles from Browns Fairfax Mazda and have been absolutely satisfied with every aspect of the connection with Browns Fairfax Mazda. What I like most is that all the folks you deal with, from sales to service to administration are "car guys" (meant to be gender inclusive). These are people who love cars, and to them their work isn't a job, it's a calling. In service especially, they treat your car like it was their own prized possession, and seem to revel in always making it better than you expected it could be. Their technicians are perceptive and talented and seem to personify the Zoom-Zoom driver focused ethic of which Mazda is so justifiably proud. I echo the comments from prior posters praising Dave Martin. He's the best advertisement they could want for customer satisfaction. Glad to be able to sing the praises of this exceptional dealership. More
I have been a client of Brown's Fairfax Mazda for a little of four (4) years now - I have trusted them with my teenage daughter's Mazda 3 car==specifically Mr. Dave Martin--I can not say or write enoug little of four (4) years now - I have trusted them with my teenage daughter's Mazda 3 car==specifically Mr. Dave Martin--I can not say or write enough good words about him and how he has dealt with me and her over the years. He is professional-efficient-straight-forward and goes out of his way to make my daughter feel comfortable and informed when she has to wait for her car to be serviced. My daughter goes to college in Salem Va. and to have the feeling that she is driving the best maintained and safest vehicle when she is going up and down I-81 and back and forth on I-66 I attrribute to Dave Martin and his skill sets as well as the entire staff at Brown's Fairfax Mazda-she is already convinced that her next car will be a Mazda and I'm very confident it will be coming from Brown's. I have used Brown's Auto for more than 20 years with two different Mazdas. Impeccable service - very fair when asked whether a service has to be performed at that time or in the future. I wish that I had gone to Browns Mazda before I spent so much time and money at Main Street Shell! I switched to this dealership when I moved here and have had multiple problems with my car. First my car didn't start, so the dealership told me the obvious answer to get a new battery. David reassured me t had multiple problems with my car. First my car didn't start, so the dealership told me the obvious answer to get a new battery. David reassured me that this was the problem, except it wasn't. A few days later my car would not start again. I called and explained I had gotten a new battery and brought it in again. They looked at it and said nothing was wrong. Again my car would't start, so I bring it back a third time and finally they inform me there is some sort of corrosion that just needed to be cleaned off. Simple problem that took three tries to fix. Second, I bought tires from them. Again I worked with David. He was great in finding me an affordable tire, which he said was good quality for the price. The winter came and my car got stuck again and again. Tires were horrible! I finally got brand new tired ONE year later because I slid into something when there was about 1/2 inch snow on the ground. I called the dealership and asked for a quote, even though they said I should not get new tires. David said he would call me back with a quote, which he didn't. They lost my business, I purchased four new tires elsewhere. Lastly, I purchased windshield wipers on my own which ended up not working so I went and got the Mazda brand ($40) wipers. Again I was assured they will last and was the best they had. Just ONE month after this purchase it was raining and they broke. The wiper was completely shredded into three pieces by the time I got to the dealership. They replaced them after much attitude because I was coming in close to closing time. More

My boyfriend and I went to Browns just to test drive the CX-7; however, after working with AJ we walked away knowing that this was the car for us. We were trading in two cars, which was a bit of a challeng CX-7; however, after working with AJ we walked away knowing that this was the car for us. The only reason we didn’t end up buying from Browns is because the numbers added up somewhere else. I would recommend AJ at Browns to anyone in the market. More
