Jaime was awesome! Ask for him and he will get you into the right car. Jae was difficult to deal with. Don't leave your stuff in your car when they test drive it. My fiancée owns a 2011 Hyundai sonota. We have gone to this shop for several services but never a good experience. The only reason we ever went back after the first service was because during an oil ch to this shop for several services but never a good experience. The only reason we ever went back after the first service was because during an oil change they fried the cars computer and after all the things they screwed up we had to purchase a rental car. They reimbursed that cost with free service to the $ value of the rental. So the first time we had never ever call you when your car is done. Mostly cause they only actually work on it if you wait it you prompt them by calling them several times. That first time we dropped it off at 8am for an oil change and they forgot to do it by the time my fiancée picked up the car 10 hours later. She got there and they said it would e a minute. 1 hour later they came back and said the computer was fried due to a mandatory recall/update gone wrong. No record of this recall exists so what really happens is some idiot forgot to work on the car at all and the. Rushed to do it and must have screwed something up. The very lazy service manager did the rental car thing only after about another hour of arguing with him. Today ha been the last straw though. We went in for another service, I think related to the faulty computer, they did a half xxx repair that doesn't seem to even have anything to do with the problem. I called several times today and after having several people tell me they would call me right back I finally got a call on my fiancées phone which is not the phone number they were told to call. They said the car was done. This time it only took 7 hours! They are incompetent, rude, bad at service in every aspect. I have grown up in the car bussiness, I know what service should be. This place is just awful. Now that they have paid all the money back from the rental, I will never ever go there again! I could go on into more detail about just how terrible they are but I have already wasted to much of my life on this cruddy shop and their useless employees. More

When I made the decision to pull the trigger on the car, the experience became very different. I waited for close to 4 hours in the show room for my car to become ready. When it was finally done, I was brought into the dreaded back room, I was presented with pushy, uncooperative, and generally difficult to speak to indian gentleman. The first bump was he offered me an interest rate that was twice what the sales rep offered because I had "new credit". After threatening to walk out, he gave me the original rate and then began to very forcefully try to sell me on a several different products I was not interested, even going so far as to offer a service for free just so he could get a commission. After finally getting my car, I love it! but the experience getting it was not enjoyable for a first item car buyer. One of the things that they sell you one is a free oil change for life. Sounds great right? Well the first time I went in for a free oil change, it took them over 2 hours to service my car. The second time 45. The third time I left after being ignored by the desk reps. Mr. Kim was very helpful and professional. We would recommend him to others. My only complaint is that when we tried to call three times the week after the sale to ask a question and try to find someh recommend him to others. I've been coming to Fairfax Hyundai since I purchased my 2010 Elantra and service and sales are just out of this world. I just traded in my 2010 Elantra for the 2013 and the process was just great. I highly recommend not only this dealership, as all were friendly and willing to help, but Jay specifically as his customer service skills exceeded my expectations. I appreciated their direct approach and it never came off as salesy which was very nice. They worked with me to explain all of the car features and made sure I understood what my warranty covered which was very comprehensive. I previously owned a Mercedes and the customer service at Fairfax Hyundai was definitely comparable! Thank you I love my new car!! More
Fairfax Hyundai was the first within 500mi of DC area to get a Veloster Turbo in the color and trim I wanted. They advertised the car for $1200 under MSRP on AutoTrader. I called the dealership to buy the get a Veloster Turbo in the color and trim I wanted. They advertised the car for $1200 under MSRP on AutoTrader. I called the dealership to buy the car before it was even delivered to them. The salesman on the phone confirmed the AutoTrader price, but said it doesn't include Freight and fees. Freight is $775, so it would still be ~$400 under MSRP. Later, the salesman changed his story, however, saying that the car is actually $2000 over MSRP. When I asked why, he kept providing random numbers for random things like freight and packages, which never added up. The MSRP including packages and Freight is clearly posted on the Hyundai website, so the $2000 extra was just markup, yet the salesman tried convincing me that those was legitimate charges for packages, etc. Flat out lying. When I drove to the dealership to haggle the price back to their AutoTrader advertised price, they would not budge. I got yelled at by the salesman as well as the manager, even though I stayed polite and calm. The manager finally said he will sell me the car at the advertised price ($1200 under MSRP) if I am the first to agree to buy it once it arrives. I got the agreed on price in writing. The car arrives the next day and I drive there first thing in the morning. Needless to say, the dealership again tries to tack on the markup and refuses to honor the agreed-on price. The manager gets angry and claims that he'll only sell it to me for the agreed-on price if he can't sell it to anyone else interested in the car for the higher price. I get yelled out of the dealership once again. As a sidenote, it is actually against the law in VA to advertise a price for a product with the intent to sell it for a higher price. It is a bait-and-switch practice that VA consumer protection laws prohibit. Needless to say, I never returned to the dealership. Interestingly enough, a month later the car with the same VIN was still listed on their website. Meanwhile, I drove a few hours to get the same configuration a few states away and the dealership I used was amazing. So if you have a choice, do not go to Fairfax Hyundai. They will lie and deceive to try to rip you off, and if you try to defend yourself, they will be rude and condescending. I've been to several dealerships over a few months while shopping for my car and Fairfax Hyundai was the absolute worst I've encountered. Steer away. More
Got a good price for my trade and it was overall a very good deal for me. Cody and I went back and forth several times with the price but ultimately we settled on something that was very attractive.
