Come here if you want to waste your time and get ripped off! And get harassed by a bunch of their people afterwards! These are your typical greasy used car sales people. I came in for a $25k car, they g off! And get harassed by a bunch of their people afterwards! These are your typical greasy used car sales people. I came in for a $25k car, they got my info and came back with paperwork adding an additional $14k to the final price! The next few days I got messages from Hass saying the additional fees are warrantees and Gap insurance, but he's willing to work with me on the dealer fees! Then I got a message from Dave Meschon, General Manager, asking if he could help. Then Nestor, Senior Sales Mgr, asking what's holding me back from making a deal. Then my sales guy Jon, telling me I didn't give him a chance to make a deal. Then Mo, Sales Manager, messaged me a few times wanted to help me. What a bunch of frauds. More
***UPDATE*** We took the car in a3rd time because it temp gauge was fluctuating, car driving competent fine, no other problems. You would think they fix this no charge since it's a 4rd visit for same problem gauge was fluctuating, car driving competent fine, no other problems. You would think they fix this no charge since it's a 4rd visit for same problem, you'd think the GM would rectify this issue as it's a bad look on him and the company, but NOPE! They said in the end I needed a whole new engine. HOW?!?!? I've barely had the car 2 months! How did it go from them saying it was a water pump issue to now it's having to pay for a new engine?!?! Then expecting us to pay a dime on it when they should have found the issue the first time we brought it in! At this point all we know is they're was knowledge on the vehicle having issues that they could have reset any lights, we were only offered a 30 day warranty which means if they knew they wanted to pin it on us so they could turn around and say oh well warranty expired you now have to pay and it happened by you guys. Once they told us it was a new engine we said forget it using it somewhere else to get checked and if we have to were going to small claims. We picked it up and within a few hours of driving it the engine light came on and car shut down!!! NOW SUDDENLY THERE IS AN ENGINE PROBLEM!! Car is now not drivable when it was drivable with just a coolant issue hence why we believe they reset the lights. We are so angry and the GM who messaged below didn't do anything about it while there so no he made no attempt to rectify that his team sold us a car that possibly had a pre existing issue that we couldn't see from our test drive or even after having it a few weeks, let alone the 3 times we took it in, we got Uber rides home the first 2 times but no rental and when we asked the service dept about a rental or uber ride that they offered someone else there who was waiting on a vehicle issue of their own they just bought the night before in this 3rd visit, the service manager we were told was going to come speak with us literally ditched us and left us stranded waiting. So again either uber rides or renting a car or if pocket because of their negligence. They could have easily offered us a refund, a replacement, or to fix no charge and a rental after a 3rd visit for the same issue. But NOPE! By the way we overheard the girl in the service dept stating that they have discovered cars are coming back that came from being worked in in their "other" service lot with issues and they are trying to find out which employees they are I assume to question and hopefully fire. Or car is now at a Honda dealer this morning being diagnosed and that info from today is going with us to small claims court against STG! They, THE GM, had every opportunity to rectify this but all they did was ruin the car even more and already 1 car payment in I have no working vehicle. So for all you who have bought cars I hope you get it checked before you end up like me and many others back there with issues they will ignore and refuse to rectify. 10-3-24 Never again. Bought the car no problem but car issues 3 weeks in and the run around getting it repaired by their most likely uncertified service guys. Spent 350 for a water pump they said was the reason my coolant leaked only for it to leak again after a week. We get the run around of it being seen and they moved liked molasses to get this repaired AGAIN leaving us to spend money on uber we didn't budget for the same day we are making our first car payment to be able to get home and get to work when we live in a whole other county let alone the inconvenience it's caused us to be without a car in total for a week and half after we bought barely a month ago. As I've talked to people including the tow guy who said he ended up with a lemon from there, I NEVER should have bought there. I don't recommend STG. Stick to actual dealers. More
WARNING bad business. I went to test drive a 40k car and the seat belt on the driver seat didn’t work. Wasn’t able to test drive right away. They claimed they fixed it wh I went to test drive a 40k car and the seat belt on the driver seat didn’t work. Wasn’t able to test drive right away. They claimed they fixed it when I got in the car to drive off I was STILL unable to fasten my seat belt. So someone came out to tamper with it to get it to work and told me they would fix it Monday. Long story short they let me drive off with a seat belt that didn’t work properly and I got stuck at work because I was unable to fasten the seat belt. I had to call for help and got it to work temp. Due diligence I don’t think legally you can sell a car when the seat belts don’t work properly . I went to return the car Monday and of course they wouldn’t take it back. Welp….. Lawyer More
I'm so dissatisfied, and if I could give no stars, I would! At first, things got off to a great start and then took a bad turn once we got the car. My Dante the Salesman was great and did amazingly ge would! At first, things got off to a great start and then took a bad turn once we got the car. My Dante the Salesman was great and did amazingly get my sister a great deal. After leaving the dealership, not knowing a caution like came on. I called and was told to make an appointment with the service department. Then, since then, about two hours later, the front headlight is out! I called and spoke with Ramy and voiced my concerns, and the response wasn't something a repeat loyal customer would want to hear. The headlights are a safety feature, and that should have been checked prior to the car being sold. We are going to be inconvenienced by having to leave work early to take the car, their service department only being open Monday thru Friday. Another issue is that since I contacted someone regarding purchasing a car, even after buying one, I get a text every day, and I've asked Ramy to remove my number. They can send a text about buying a car but not the headlights. How do you buy a car and get told to go to Autozone and have them do it and then bring a receipt? This is not the type of service a 4 time repeat customer should get. More
Please please PLEASE everyone! Heed the reviews you read about this auto dealer! Bait and switch - yes! High pressure tactics - yes! Flat out lies about their products and servic Heed the reviews you read about this auto dealer! Bait and switch - yes! High pressure tactics - yes! Flat out lies about their products and services - yes yes yes! Run, don't walk away from these guys! I walked out after 20 minutes of being bold face lied to about the vehicle my friend and I were interested in. Unnecessary and outrageously priced dealer add ons that did not exist. Pxxs-poor representation of pricing AND false advertising. I could go on and on, but suffice to say, just go to a reputable dealer and save yourself the nightmare! More
Total bait and switch - along with unwilling to sell a car without “add-ons”. The price of the car was 17,000 + tax & Lic. The salesman tried to sell upsell us over $4,000 in Dealer add-ons. When I ref car without “add-ons”. The price of the car was 17,000 + tax & Lic. The salesman tried to sell upsell us over $4,000 in Dealer add-ons. When I refused - I was told they would not sell the car to us unless there was some amount of dealer add-ons or mark up. Finally we struck a deal - shook hands and within 5 minutes was told the car was sold to somebody else. What???? This car was not prep for sale, it was buried deep in the lot - the salesman had to move 3 different cars just to get the car out. This was just too hard to believe - of course the GM tried to sell us a more expensive car that wasn’t in our budget. I would stay away from STG Auto Group. More

**Terrible Experience with STG Auto Group - Avoid at All Costs!** I recently had a nightmare experience with STG Auto Group that I feel compelled to share to warn others. I sold my vehicle to them and fo Costs!** I recently had a nightmare experience with STG Auto Group that I feel compelled to share to warn others. I sold my vehicle to them and followed all their requirements meticulously. I’m based in the North Bay, and I provided every document they asked for. They even sent an inspector for an in-person verification of the vehicle. Everything seemed to go smoothly—they took the vehicle and sent a check which I promptly cashed. Days later, I was shocked to receive a notification from my bank that the check had been blocked. STG Auto Group claimed they were no longer interested in the vehicle due to "potential fraud," a baseless accusation given all the thorough checks they performed. Now, they are refusing to communicate with me. I can only get through to the receptionist who says they’ll pass on my messages, but I never get a response from the business office. To add insult to injury, they still have my vehicle and are refusing to return it. This whole ordeal has been incredibly stressful and unfair. I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with STG Auto Group to think twice and take your business elsewhere. They have shown themselves to be untrustworthy and unprofessional. Avoid STG Auto Group at all costs! More
