I purchased a new Cadillac Escalade from Chris and John at Sons Cadillac. Early in the life of the car, the dreaded engine light came on, followed by a loss of power, jerking motion and then a warning that stabilitrak had shut down. The car began to fill with the acrid smell of something burning, much like burning brakes. I was hungry and went into a fast food restaurant to eat, letting the car cool down for about 30 minutes. I came back out and everything seemed to work normally, but after traveling another 5 miles, the same thing happened again. I sent a message to John. Soon after I received a call from Roger the service manager. He told me that he was sending a rollback to pick the Escalade up. I was 50 minutes away from the dealership. In approximately 90 minutes the rollback had arrived and they took the car back to the Sons Service Center. The next business day I talked with Roger and he told me, Brandon, their service specialist had isolated the problem to a faulty fuel injector coil. The coil was not igniting the fuel in that cylinder and hence the engine was sputtering and lost power. The unburnt fuel was being passed on to the catalytic converter and that caused the burning smell. Later, I also learned from the service report that the Brandon had went above and beyond the call of duty, removing the valve cover and inspecting the valve lifters for possible malfunction. Roger told me that they had driven the car around twice to make sure that the car was working properly. He then said he would deliver the car to my house (I live about 1 hour from the dealership) both giving the car a final test and saving me from traveling to the dealership. Within approximately 90 minutes, the car was delivered to my house. I highly recommend Sons Cadillac for their outstanding service after the sale. I was impressed by the level of the technical expertise in their dealership. They were able to quickly diagnose and repair a difficult, intermittently occurring failure. Thanks to all for service with a smile after the purchase. Ten thumbs up to all involved. More

To make a long story short he mislead my husband who is a veteran and senior citizen just to make a sale. We had an issue when we test drove the vehicle, time to pick it up after purchased and to get an extra set of keys. Bryan was very aggressive, not attentive, didn't know the correct info on the GMC Terrain. Just bad customer service More

While we are super grateful for the truck, it was mentioned at time of sale that there was another set of keys and the lock nug key. Our sales rep was called weekly about the update of these two item mentioned at time of sale that there was another set of keys and the lock nug key. Our sales rep was called weekly about the update of these two items that we were originally told were shipped down from the previous owners. As the time went on, two sales reps and the person who receives the keys (from what we were told) had no idea where these items were. When we bought the truck on the 1st of November, the loan had already been finalized before we finished talking to financing about adding another key and fob to the loan. While it's only "$200" they openly admitted to not knowing where the items were. When we went today to get the plate for the truck, we asked again. We are incredibly grateful that they were able to take the master key to take the locking lug nuts off and put normal lug nuts on, but we have YET to solve the missing key issue. More

Dropped my truck off almost a week ago to get its 90k-100k service. I knew the transmission was acting funny and tailgate not working properly and wanted those checked out as well. I have only had th 90k-100k service. I knew the transmission was acting funny and tailgate not working properly and wanted those checked out as well. I have only had the truck for a year, its a 2019 and only had 63k miles on it when I purchased it. I told the service rep, I'm pretty sure its still under warranty because I bought one when I bought the truck. She told me no, the warranty went out at 63k miles. 1. that doesn't make any sense, never seen a warranty go out at 63k miles and 2. I told her "no, that's how many miles were on it when I bought it." Never got a real answer. I also told her I did not need an oil change or tires rotated as I literally just bought new tires the week prior, had them mounted, balanced, and alignment completed. Oil still had 65% life left and I do those things myself. YET, I am still being charged for tire rotation and oil change. In regards to my tailgate not working. They are charging me over $300 for a tailgate actuator, when the one that is in there works just fine...how do I know that...because I bought it and replaced the factory one that wasn't working previously. I told the service rep, I have checked all the relays, fuses, connections, and actuator and that it has to be something in the computer. I am mechanically inclined, have my own shop, and feel I am being taken advantage of. I can't believe they are trying to pull this crap. The most infuriating thing is the extreme lack of communication. Dropped my truck off at 9a.m. and I had to call back at 5p.m. just to get an update. I went back up there at 5p.m. to get stuff out of my truck and it was just sitting in a parking lot behind the shop like it hasn't even been touched. I mean what did it do for 7 hours? Now my truck has been there almost a week, still with no update, no offer for a loaner vehicle, nothing. I shouldn't be the one calling or going up there to get updates. More
I went in and let them know what was most important in my purchase. The Manager's worked hard to get me what I needed. They were very honest and upfront with me. I will definitely go to SONS for all my buyin purchase. The Manager's worked hard to get me what I needed. They were very honest and upfront with me. This place should be called Clown Show Cadillac. In 30yrs of buying cars, this is the most unmotivated and unprofessional sales team I have dealt with. The communication is poor and the left hand do In 30yrs of buying cars, this is the most unmotivated and unprofessional sales team I have dealt with. The communication is poor and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. This place is not serious about selling cars. Beware on the SONS Advantage. When you read this dealers website, they claim to not charge any unnecessary fees. Every sale includes the SONS Advantage at an additional $676, whether you want it or not. It is an option that is not available from Cadillac which makes it an unnecessary fee added by the dealership to increase profit margin. Not to mention their Doc fee is almost double than Atlanta dealerships. The sales team lacks motivation and does not communicate well or in a timely manner. The first sales person I dealt with tried to tell me I had to trade in with them and finance through them in order to get the discount (I have it in writing). After 48hrs of no response from her, I got salesman #2. I sent him my trade in pictures and info and he never responded (until 10 days later asking if I was still interested). While waiting for a response from #2, this place passes me off to the #3 man, the sales manager, and this time I go 72hrs without a response - he is the manager! After several unreturned phone calls and emails, I finally speak to the general manager 11 days after initial contact. His stance was that even though SONS claims to not charge unnecessary fees, the SONS Advantage was necessary and would not lower the cost of the vehicle or add something to the sale to compensate for it (tinted windows like what is pictured on the Cadillac website for this vehicle). It blows my mind that this dealership is willing to keep paying the per diem for a car that is not selling rather than cut their ridiculous doc fee or SONS Advantage fee and move it off the lot - that's $1400 of dealer fluff added to the bill between those 2 fees. All I asked for was $500 tinted windows. Their 10% discount quickly dwindled once you started tacking on the erroneous fees. SONS Advantage was the deal breaker More
I wanted to do everything online and, on the phone, so I tried to order the car directly from the GM - Cadillac site. They recommended that I reach out to 4 dealerships that had a similar car of the one I b tried to order the car directly from the GM - Cadillac site. They recommended that I reach out to 4 dealerships that had a similar car of the one I build. Sons of Chevrolet Cadillac was the closest one from Atlanta, where I live. I sent them an e-mail straight from the Cadillac site and one of the salespersons contacted me the very next day. His name is Keith. He was easy to work with; just a very personable person. I ended up purchasing a 2024 Cadillac XT4 Sport. I've always purchased new cars and I've owned 6 so far. This was my very first American car. The previous 5 have been 2 Toyotas, 2 Hondas, and 1 Acura. So, the car was delivered to me on December 30th of 2023. Upon inspecting it, I found 2 scratches (1 was over 3 inches). We called the dealership and Keith told me they would have it fixed. I know, I should have gotten something in writing. My defense is that the entire process so far was seamless, and Keith came across so trustworthy, that I felt I could trust him. Feel free to call me stupid, like my co-workers! I want to warn people not do business with these dishonest people. They have managed to ruin the joy of the purchase. I will be warning people on every site that I can leave a review on this dealership. This will by my 1st of many reviews. If I can save 1 person from their dishonesty, then I will chuck this down as lesson learn. More
