A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE Shortly after purchasing my used vehicle I noticed that the emergency brake was failing. One quick phone call to my salesman and my vehicle was in being repaired for free, as well as an upgraded Ebrake Lever free of charge. I was even treated to a tank of gas for my troubles. I would absolutely purchase from them again......by the way did I mention that my vehicle purchasing price smashed all others within 500 miles according to Autotrader. One xxxx Of Deal. More
Great Service, Great Prices I went to 3 other dealers for the same kind and year of car, a Nissan Rogue. Everyone had about 3 to choose from but the miles were much higher on theirs. Looked at their Memorial Day ad and found one for much less and a lot fewer miles. Even with the holiday, 3 days later I was driving my car home. The hour drive was well worth it.Great service, they weren't pushy at all and took all the time with us that we wanted. I love my car. I will go back there again if I need another car. Bob and Frank made it so easy. More

Dissatisfied. I visited this dealership on 5/2/15. I was looking at a 2008 Dodge Caliber. What would have been my first car I bought from a dealership. I show up, w I visited this dealership on 5/2/15. I was looking at a 2008 Dodge Caliber. What would have been my first car I bought from a dealership. I show up, with my boyfriend. We drove the car for about twenty minutes, came back and waited about twenty minutes to speak with Dan. I've been interested in a Dodge Caliber for a few months and came prepared knowing quite a bit about them. My boyfriend is also a mechanic. Dan sat down and asked what we thought about the car, we both agreed we liked it. We tried to negotiate a slightly lower price, as they valued the car for almost two thousand dollars more than what it was worth. They originally asked 11995 (If my memory from their paperwork is correct) and dropped it down to 9995 after a couple weeks. I was completely prepared to drive away with this car, up until the point Dan started discussing price with my boyfriend. At this point, Dan is getting quite testy at the fact that we've viewed numerous other cars to find that their asking price was a bit too high. After him getting frustrated at my boyfriend for pointing out a few errors, we ended up walking out, while Dan handed me the paperwork for the other Dodge Calibers in the area. Overall, it was an ok experience. Wish they would have had wiggle room on price, as most dealerships do. I suppose not this place. Expect to pay exactly what their asking. More

We have had the pleasure of working with LUCAS JOHNSON. we just cannot say enough about him. Lucas is such a nice guy - easy going and friendly. We purchased our 1st vehicle from Lucas Johnson and I sought him out again. This is the 2nd time we have had a wonderful experience in purchasing a vehicle. I have also used the Service Dept. and have dealt with Julie, Cathy, Kelly, Phil and they are all outstanding and treat people very nice. We also had a chance to work with Don, the business manager,. He to was wonderful to work with. He handled everything great. He is also very friendly and helpful. It was a joy to work with Don. So S&L Dealership can pat them selves on the back. You are doing everything right. You have a nice clean facility. You have a friendly Service Staff., and Sales Staff. Everyone is so nice. Keep up the great work. 2012 Jeep Patriot, amazing customer experience I found my ideal vehicle via the internet in mid January. Unfortunately I was out of the area until the second week of February. When I did return home, I traveled 3 hours to reach Dan, at S & L motors. Dan did a phenomenal job during those weeks in keeping in touch with me and answering my questions. I arrived at the dealer early in the morning, and Dan was available and had the Jeep ready for a test drive. It was important to me that I complete my purchase (and trade) in one trip due to the distance and my work schedule. Both Dan and Don (business manager) did an amazing job helping me complete my purchase. The vehicle was in perfect condition as they said it was. The price was also very fair. Dan is very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question I had. Don was able to not only save me some money, but also get me a great extended warranty for a fair price. Customer service is huge for me, everyone I dealt with was kind, respectful, and made me their priority. I HIGHLY recommend this dealer. Regardless of distance, it will be worth your trip! More
Look elsewhere, very disappointed I purchased my 5th Chrysler at S&L this Janruary during the 0% financing sale. With this being my 4th dealer to work with it was by far the worst de I purchased my 5th Chrysler at S&L this Janruary during the 0% financing sale. With this being my 4th dealer to work with it was by far the worst dealership providing the least pleasant time. I knew what I wanted and I knew the value I needed for my trade in so I called the dealership as soon as they opened (9am) to give them the information on my vehicle and share my interest. Once we agreed upon a trade in value I submitted my information to run the financing application so I could drive up and drive away with the new car. Well, they never called me back so I just started driving towards the dealership (around 1pm now, and a 1 hour drive). Upon my arrival (about 1:45) I ended up sitting in the waiting room for about 2 hours with no updates. Having an appointment to get to a half hour away from the dealership at 4:30 I needed to get going. I informed the sales person I was working with (Dan Kwilinski) that I could not wait any longer and would have to return the next day. Suddenly my credit was approved and the sales person refused to give me my keys to my vehicle (he had them from trade inspection). He directed me towards the financing person who I informed we did not have enough time. After going back and forth I FINALLY got my keys back after about another 20 minutes. During the drive to my appointment I received a call from the sales person giving me the usual "Oh, someone else is interested, can you put down some money". I did since I knew I wanted the car but I was unimpressed with the believed misleading statement. So now it's the following day. I drive up for 9am when they open to pick up the new car finally. The financing manager (Don) is relived stating "This works out better because when we rush then things get missed". Still taking a rather ridiculously long amount of wait time we FINALLY finished the financing and were ready to go. During the process of signing the contracts and whatnot, the financing manager was very disorganized and didn't seem to know what he was doing, or at least that he was not confident in it (he was very polite however). While we were doing the financing application I applied for new generic plates since my old plates were customized to the previous vehicle. The sales person (Dan) took off my old plates and custom Dodge plate frames from my old vehicle. I stated multiple times that I wanted my old plates back (legally they are mine). Well, with the frustration I drove away in my new car and got home realizing I forgot my old plates. Well sure enough the following week I receive a call from the financing manager (Don) stating that he missed some paperwork and that he would mail it to me to sign and return. Not a huge deal but frustrating since we had to wait an excessive amount of time to begin with..... While on the phone with Don I mention that I forgot my plates at the dealership. I requested that the dealership mail them to me (since they were the soul handlers of them to begin with) and he said he would look into it. Well I am over a month and a half later after spending $35,000 and they couldn't even return my plates and plate frames. They couldn't spare $5 to mail them to me. I am extremely dis-satisfied and hesitate to ever recommend to S&L motors and will refer anyone to almost any other dealership. The very best dealership I have EVER dealt with was BY FAR Kolosso Chrysler in Appleton. Please look around before working with S&L as they will frustrate you.I only dread what would happen if I would have to do a lemon law through them! I know that in all my future Chrysler purchases I will be shopping elsewhere! I have forwarded this experience to Chrysler Group LLC and Chrysler Capital as well so maybe they will shape up in the future. More
I entered into a verbal agreement on 03-10-14 with Dan, the internet sales manager. We agreed that I would come on 03-11-14 to purchase a 2010 Nissan Titan. He emailed me late on 03-10-14 and informed me he sold the vehicle to another buyer. I am truly surprised S&L motors conducts business in such a poor manner. I would not recommend them to anyone!
