I appreciate Rye Subaru reaching out to me. The problem is this: I have a brand new car. It was dead in my driveway. Fob won't work. The key in the Fob opens the door but that is it. AAA comes and places charger on the battery. Alarms now go off on the car. I stop the alarms with the Fob. AAA says the battery is fine. "What shut the whole system down?" He does not know. I take it to service. They test the battery. All is good, they say. Not really because if nobody knows what happened, it could happen again. Perhaps when I am not close to home or on vacation. Was the entire electrical system checked? Are there defective parts that need replacing? Please let me know because I sure don't!
