Dear Mr. Rui Tiago Dos Santos, I apologize that you felt I treated you unprofessionally. However, I would like to clarify some points regarding our encounter. Firstly, you arrived 45 minutes late for our scheduled appointment to drive your vehicle. This delay caused us inconvenience and disrupted our schedule. Secondly, during the drive, you drove at high speeds that showed no regard for our safety. You claimed that there was an issue with your vehicle that you could not reproduce, but the actions you took were excessive and unnecessary. When we returned to the property, I politely asked to speak with you about the recording devices you had installed in your vehicle. Our staff and I did not consent to being recorded while your car was being worked on. I explained to you that recording without consent is illegal in the state of New York, and our attorneys confirmed this. I am sorry that you felt I became unprofessional when I brought up the recording issue. We have nothing to hide, but it is important to follow the law and respect others' privacy. Dear Mr. Michael Zaccagnino, I am so sorry to hear about your recent experience. Our records show your vehicle being towed into the dealership on November 18th, 2023, and your associate telling us the clutch pedal stays depressed and does not return to its normal position. We then gave your associate a courtesy loaner vehicle, and a technician looked over your vehicle. Glenn then called you to review our findings and the cost of repair. To say, "Repairs performed without authorization," and then follow up with "Questionable pricing," "Experienced this in the past," and finally, "My fault for going back," is shocking. To believe someone who has been servicing their car with us regularly since 2020 would feel this way and continue to come back numerous times leaves us speechless, but we understand.
