Worked with Bob T in sales and John T in financing. I’ve only been to a few dealerships in my life, but Rydell’s seemed like a pretty solid place. They didn't try to strong arm me into anything or hit me with any of that usual hyper-aggressive, rabid sales xx. Bob was charming and personable and so cool and nonchalant that you could almost believe he didn’t care about selling cars—he only cared about helping the customer get exactly what they wanted for a steal of a price. Definitely a master of his craft. The car buying process was the most straightforward and pleasant of any that I’ve done before. I basically told Bob I wanted to know the out-the-door-price with taxes and registration fees, etc., included, and that’s what I got. I had gone to a couple other dealerships that included a couple grand of optional dealer xx that it was like pulling fingernails to get them to remove, so I was pleased when Rydell didn’t do this. The price of the car itself was slightly below KBB value, which I thought was pretty good. John in financing told me he would give me about a 40% military discount on an extended 5-year warranty if I wanted it, which I guess worked because I got the xxxx thing. I think it came to like $2,100 for 5 years/50,000 miles of coverage. I’ll let you decide if I’m an idiot. So yeah, pleasant, non-toxic, non-aggressive atmosphere. I never felt like a sardine walking into a shark tank at the dealer. Bob and John were both affable and I got the car for the price I wanted. 10/10 would shop there again. More
