Lied to Do not trust anyone at this dealership. Two sales people and a manager gave me the wrong information that is now going to cost me an additional $1,500 Do not trust anyone at this dealership. Two sales people and a manager gave me the wrong information that is now going to cost me an additional $1,500. I went in to look at a Volt. After sitting in one, I decided I did not like it. The sales person, Jose, encouraged me to sit in a Bolt. I was never keen on buying an all-electric vehicle. I drive far for work and thought it would be too stressful to not have any gas to rely on. The sticker read 10 hour charge from empty on a 220v outlet. When I asked the salesperson how long to charge in 110V home outlet he answered 12 hours. I pointed out that the sticker said 10 hours on a 220V, was he sure it was 12 for an 110V? He said yes. That was definitely doable. I went back a couple days later to test drive the car. I had a new salesman this time, Bubba. When asked the same question, he reported 10 hours to charge from empty to full in an 110v outlet. I figured how can 2 salesman be wrong? Oh boy was I wrong. I fell in love with the car and purchased it. The next day, I was reading the owner’s manual and to my surprise saw that it takes 50 hours to charge in an 110v outlet. I called Rydell and spoke to the manager, Rick. Rick was quick to answer that his salesmen were correct, that it takes 10-12 hours to charge. When I read him the excerpt from the manual, he claimed that he never took the battery test but the salespeople had. He was going to “research” it and call me back. I know the Bolt is a new car, but the dealership should know these important details and be well trained before trying to sell to customers. Bubba didn’t even know where the car was made. He told us it was made in Wisconsin…really? Wisconsin plant has been closed since 2009. So, to be able to drive my car to work more than 2 days in a row I need to install a 32Amp car charger at home. The charger costs $600 and installation is $950. If I had known this, I may not have purchased the vehicle. I feel very much lied to and cheated. EVERYONE at the dealership should know the ins and outs about their product, especially a manger. I have put in a complaint to Chevrolet Care Experience Center. But, seems like they don’t mind if their dealerships lie to customers. They commented that they don’t get involved in these matters. So, what is a “Care Experience Center” there for? I am very disappointed in this car buying experience and will never buy a car from Rydell again. More
Horrible Sales Condultants & Managers Wed Rydell should be ashamed of this place. He would flip-out if he knew what was happening under his name, even though this is just a franchise. Sa Wed Rydell should be ashamed of this place. He would flip-out if he knew what was happening under his name, even though this is just a franchise. Sales people don't//never call you back. I am a returning Chevrolet owner, trying to purchase another. When I finally hit the Mgr. Danny, he promised to call me back and didn't. I was ready to purchase. So stupid. Hard 2 run a business this way, worst of ALL.... youare RUINING the RYDELL name! More

Unacceptable I went to go buy a new 2016 Chevy Camaro 2SS and I wasn't greeted properly. I tried to talk to the manager and he was completely disrespectful. He tre I went to go buy a new 2016 Chevy Camaro 2SS and I wasn't greeted properly. I tried to talk to the manager and he was completely disrespectful. He treated me like I wasn't a valuable customer because of my age. I'm 19 and I make more money than that guy will make in his lifetime! If anybody there would've taken the time to actually help me out they would've sold me the car. The sales team there is just like any other Chevy... terrible. After my horrible test drive with a salesman who had clue about the car... he sat me down to talk prices and basically tried to scam the xxxx out of me. I know how much that car is worth! Anyways I tried to give them another chance as I saw a used version of the 2016 2SS on their lot with 2,000 miles on it. They insisted that it was new and that I would get a better deal with their incentives if they listed it as new rather than used. That's absolute xxxxxxxx considering they wanted full price! A car loses it's value, as much as %11 with depreciation as soon as its driven off the lot. So they basically just try to screw any idiot they can... if they fired everyone there especially management... they would have more sales. American car companies aren't doing so well, I wonder why?! Customer satisfaction is key and it's funny how on their website they're rated nearly 5 stars and eveywhere else I look they're hardly rated 3/5. All I can say is xxxx American car companies I could get a better deal on an m4 BMW or a c63 amg Mercedes. Forget giving any American car company your business... they're unprofessional and that's why they don't make sales and have to take government bail outs all the time. DONT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP, WASTE OF TIME! More
unbelievable This is the place to go if you are looking for excellent customer service and no bull. When they tell you that you are getting the best price right up This is the place to go if you are looking for excellent customer service and no bull. When they tell you that you are getting the best price right up front, you better believe it. All of their cars show their best price with all the discounts and rebates available, you get to see what the store's discount is and what the rebates are on every car, they don't hide anything from you, they even show you the invoice without you having to ask for it. I realized that you always pay less than the invoice price here, nobody else does that. There's no negotiating here they tell you that from the beginig, they don't waste people's time. If you know what you're buying and don't need to look at 5 different cars, you'll be in and out of there in 2 hours. No one tries to sell you something you don't want, the salesmen don't get paid commission so they have no reason to sell you something you don't want. The salesmen here treat you like family and are very knowledgeable and helpful. I saw some complaints about some sales reps on some of these reviews but these guys that are being mentioned don't sound familiar, I've been buying cars from this place for over 10 years and have never had a bad sales rep. The only thing I can think of is that you were helped by a new sales rep that obviously used to work in a whole different environment like all the other dealerships. It will probably take some time for these new guys to get the hang of this place, but im sure they'll do just fine. Its hard not to be polite and respectful when you have 20 other guys working with you doing that every day with every customer that walks in. Best place to buy a car. More
Horrible Experience with Sales This is one of those typical dealerships that say "no price haggle, not pressure" but there was nothing but pressure and discomfort the entire 2 hrs I This is one of those typical dealerships that say "no price haggle, not pressure" but there was nothing but pressure and discomfort the entire 2 hrs I was there. I went in thinking I may buy a used car but 30 min after arriving I decided that I did not want the car (the price of the car and the test drive was great, but something just didn't feel right if I bought it). For the next 1 1/2 hrs Jose, or Pepcee as he wants to be regarded to make sure people remember him, badgered me into buying any car and was basically yelling across room to, whom i assume, is the finance manager about my situation and for the everyone in the building to hear. When Jose finally got the message that there was not persuading me to buy the car, he has to yell to the finance manager "He gonna walk!" to which the finance manager replies "I can finally go home!" Really? Am I supposed to feel bad? Now it wouldn't be fair to say this whole dealership is terrible, but do yourself a favor and watch these guys if you do decided to go. More
