Hey all- I bought a 2025 RAM 1500 truck 2 days ago from Ryan Chrysler dodge dealership in Buffalo Minnesota. I am paying over $700 per month and the first day I took the truck home it was pulling to the ri Ryan Chrysler dodge dealership in Buffalo Minnesota. I am paying over $700 per month and the first day I took the truck home it was pulling to the right (alignment issues) and the engine light came on. I contacted the dealer and they told me to take the truck for service. On arrival after diagnostic, the technician told me there is a P0300 code which they can not fix. I ask him what he means. He said it is a new truck and Dodge do not have the fix for it as yet. So, I communicated this to the New car manager, Mike Hokanson to see if we can work out a deal. Due to the code P0300, my truck is not starting with the remote and the engine light is blinking which they can not fix. So, it means I am paying my monthly payment for a defected truck. He (Mike Hokanson) told me he can not take the truck and give me another one because nothing is wrong with the truck. I had asked him to swap this truck with another one for the same price and they can deal with dodge on their own time with the defected truck. He said I can drive the truck with the engine light on nothing is wrong with it. And he refused to negotiate and replace the truck. He said he can not do anything and for me to get contact with dodge directly. Well, why Mr Mike did I come and buy the truck from your dealership? I should have gone and buy it directly from dodge. I called Dodge and they told me I have two years to return that truck to him even if I dont like the truck. But this truck clearly has a fault/defect and he refused to take it back. When he told me I have to call Dodge directly, I wished that would have been explained to me when he was taking my money when I was signing the papers at the time of sale. If I have issue call Dodge directly?? I may have given my purchase a second taught. Ryan dealership - that really is poor customer service, I think the correct response or action would be to follow through with Dodge and get back to "your" customer base. I am surprised Ryan Auto still have this kind of managers ( Mike Hokanson) running the business to the ground. Shame on Ryan Auto for treating a paying customer like they don't matter, only their money matters. I would give a zero rating to Mike Hokanson. More
