Our visit to Rusty Wallis went well. We started out by receiving a referral from the Car Guy Show who gives Rusty Wallis their stamp of approval. When we walked in we were greeted by Steve, one of the man receiving a referral from the Car Guy Show who gives Rusty Wallis their stamp of approval. When we walked in we were greeted by Steve, one of the managers who introduced us to JC. JC took time to go over the features of the car in good detail, while at the same time not getting carried away with them. When it came time to discuss price, JC was able to run most of the figures in front of us instead spending most the time going back and forth to his finance office. While he will step away from time to time, it is to discuss getting you what you want. After a little bit of discussion we arrived at a price that in our eyes was a good deal, so we decided to capitalize same day. We didn't come close to doing that at the other dealers that we looked at. The purchase went so well that even considered making another purchase on the spot!! We WILL be doing additional business with Rusty Wallis Honda in the near future. More
I went to Rusty Wallis to lower my car payments. My income has decreased. Brandon Rodenhaver was very competent and seemed to genuinely care about my well-being. Connie is an awesome salesperson. She is very friendly and knows everything about Honda cars. Connie and Mike arranged a very tight deal in a short timeframe. John was great! Not only was he friendly and personable over the phone, but he was the exact same in person. He showed me all of the features that the Civic had and you can tell he had a lot of passion in over the phone, but he was the exact same in person. He showed me all of the features that the Civic had and you can tell he had a lot of passion in his presentation. What good is a demo if the salesperson doesn't believe in the product he/she is selling?? You can tell that John legitimately has a passion for the Honda brand. Most importantly, John really wanted to make sure that I was happy. He made it clear from the start that he didn't succeed in his mind unless i walked (or drove) off the lot happy. He did everything he could and I was very happy with my purchase! The only negative experience I had was an impersonal one with John's manager. I realize that Honda is not a non-profit company and making money is the name of the game. However, having John go back and forth trying to negotiate the price that the manager himself requested seemed a little ridiculous. I can see you sitting down in your office back there from where I'm sitting; why not come out here and negotiate with me yourself. I am a sales manager in my profession and I have learned that customers want a more personal experience than going through a middle-man to get to the price. I am in no way diminishing what John did; in fact, I don't know what he makes but it's likely not equal to his outstanding customer service skills. But there was only so much he could do regarding the price and I think at that point the manager making the decisions should have talked to me himself. I will be referring friends and family to go see John for purchases in the future. He is an asset; maybe he should switch places with his manager and teach him what passion and friendly customer interactions can do for a business. More

We came in and John Hargis was professional, helpful and friendly throughout our car buying experience. I brought the vehicle in for service due to a recall. A very good experience, done it a short period of time. I didn't get the fellows name but the courtesy shuttle driver is very courteous, obviously li very good experience, done it a short period of time. Plus he knows the area extremely well and didn't drive around like he was lost. He speaks very highly of Rusty Wallace and is grateful for his job...a good man. The best car buying experience I have had with a dealership. The time was shorter than usual and they were willing to work with me on the car price and payment plans.
