They had to trade with another dealership to help us get the exact car we wanted. We really aprreciate the fact he cared and made every effort to get our car quickly as possible. He was wonderful during the orientation part of showing us the new features on our new vehicle. He made sure all of our questions were answered before we left the dealership with our new car. Anytime, I called and needed him to answer a questions, he was very prompt in responding to me. I believe Tommy Norman and the Sales Manager, Mr Colson want the customer to be totally satisfied and feel part of the Rusty Wallis family. This was the first time I had to buy a car from a dealership and I actually had a good time looking at the different vehicles and interacting with the sales staff. I went there looking at a Honda Accord I had eyed. Everyone, especially Brandon, made me feel really comfortable. I was replacing my 2008 Honda FIT with a 2011 model. I loved my '08, but the new one is significantly improved, especially in reducing road noise and a smoother ride. I had a very negative experience with another Honda dealer I had bought the '08 from originally. Basically they were ripping me off by low balling my trade (go to Edmunds.com and run the numbers for your trade in before you go to a dealer) and for outrageous costs for dealer add on options (i.e. $395 wheel locks that can be bought from Honda for $60) and a very expensive extended warrantee ($2,995 and it only added two years and 24,000 miles to the factory warrantee). Because of this, I went to Rusty Wallis Honda in east Dallas to try again. My salesperson, Elbony Beasley was very knowledgable and friendly. No pressure, just wanted me to have the best buying experience possible, and she succeeded. Plus we didn't spend too much time playing the "I'll have to go present this to the sales manager" game. They had a good inventory (first dealer had none, but said they could find one if I would sign the contract). The entire staff were friendly and attentive. I am thoroughly satisfied with the experience and have had good follow up since the sale. I haven't used the service department yet, so I will hold judgement. But, I will try them for my routine maintenance. More
We went to Rusty Wallis Honda on a Saturday morning to look at cars. We were met by John Hargis who asked a few questions and quickly got us situated in a Honda Fit for a test drive. He was extremely informative and interested in meeting our needs to find the right car. He also far exceeded our expectations in customer service. By the time we decided to purchase the vehicle, the dealership was packed with customers. When Mr. Hargis realized we could be waiting for a while as the car went through "make ready", he went the extra mile and to clean up the car himself! That is great teamwork and exceptional customer service and that type of work ethic is what makes Rusty Wallis Honda the best in the business!!!! One extremely loyal repeat customer More
We are repeat customers of Rusty Wallis and we certainly will buy from them again, our experience was great. During our purchase in August 2010, we felt we were rushed into buying something and weren't tol will buy from them again, our experience was great. During our purchase in August 2010, we felt we were rushed into buying something and weren't told that in a month or so a new model of the CR-V would be coming out that had the exact options I wanted. Either the salesman (not Zaffar) was only interested in making the sale, or wasn't knowledgeable enough about what he's selling to know a new model was coming soon - either way we were disappointed. Despite that experience, we came back to give Rusty Wallis one more chance as we'd always been treated fairly in the past - and they more than made up for that. Zaffar is easy to work with, goes out of his way to make sure you're happy with the experience and does everything he can to get you the best deal. Despite the brutal heat, Zaffar worked hard showing us cars, even running into the back lots, until we found something that would work - the model and options I wanted, the price husband wanted. When the business manager heard of our previous experience, he wanted to make amends and gave us a great price on a warranty package. Thanks! My only complaint, every car we looked at had several thousand dollars of add-ons already installed by the dealership - security systems, window tint, pin striping, wheel locks, trunk trays, etc. You look at the sticker and think, hey we can afford this! Then when you sit down to negoiate, the price is suddenly $2,000 or $3,000 higher. I remember the days when the dealer tried to talk you into adding these things, now they just do it ahead of time and you have to negotiate them off the price. Not putting Rusty Wallis down for this, I'm sure all dealers do it, it's just annoying to deal with. More
