This was my first experience with buying a new car. I did my research before going to the dealer which helped me with negotiating the price. I felt that Jim was knowledgeable, interested in selling a vehicle but not overpowering and recognized our needs and position. The initial price was fair and minimized haggling; the dealership had in-stock what we were interested in and expressed a willingness to obtain a vehicle that we would have liked even though it may not have been in-stock. There is some pressure to buy extended warranties, which is true of all dealerships, and inevitably I thought I obtained a fair price with some significant negotiation. I liked the fact that the financial department could find an interest rate lower than that offered by my credit union. More

This may be the first positive review of a dealer in which the reviewer did not ultimately purchase a car from the dealer. I dealt with Jim Beason on an internet purchase of a 2012 Odyssey Touring. Jim which the reviewer did not ultimately purchase a car from the dealer. I dealt with Jim Beason on an internet purchase of a 2012 Odyssey Touring. Jim was efficient, honest, and professional. I also had a CARMAX quote on a trade in. He was able to give me a quote for car and the trade-in without stepping into the dealership. I was given a very fair price, in fact the best price. During the buying process, I found out my best friend had a close relationship with the owner of another dealership. Because a personal friend got involved I felt obligated to give the other dealership the option of matching the internet quote by Jim Beason. Jim fully understood the situation and did not show any ill will toward me. He was a PRO. The other dealer matched the quote. I would not hesitate referring someone to Jim Beason for future business. Rusty Wallis Honda staff puts forth significant effort above and beyond all other dealerships that I have experienced to help satisfy customers from showroom floor sales to service. The people there are h above and beyond all other dealerships that I have experienced to help satisfy customers from showroom floor sales to service. The people there are honest and display a genuine caring attitude toward their customers. They are a team from the Sales Office (John Hargis) to their Internet Sales Director (Chris Conroy) to their Finance Officer (Billy Robertson) and all of this is reinforced at the highest level by the General Manager (Ronnie Robertson). You might think that after two or three car purchases that the customer would be taken for granted or be minimized with the thinking that since you are a customer that they no longer need to put forth their best effort. You would be wrong. You may note that I have purchased 23 cars from this distinguished company beginning over 25 years ago and the service/treatment keeps getting better. I commend Rusty Wallis for his outstanding Team who even during this tough financial periiod in the United States has not cut corners and continues to deliver five star service at every level! More
I bought a used 2008 Honda Accord on 09/26/11. Upon test driving the vehicle the battery was dead and Alejandro assured us that if the battery failed after purchase it would be taken care of. I explained that I am currently a student six hours away from the Dallas area and I was assured that if I took the car to any certified mechanic it would not be a problem. On 11/04/11 the battery failed again and required a new one. Upon calling Alejandro and his manager Mike, I was informed that since it was 30 days past the purchase all they could do was send me 2 free oil changes; which I will have to drive 6 hours back into town to use. It is a very unpleasant situation since the battery was faulty upon purchase and a request had been filed for it to be changed at that time. In the end I paid $80 for a new battery and get 2 oil changes that will end up costing me more due to the fact that I will have to drive six hours into town to redeem them. More
After getting screwed over by VANDERGRIFF HONDA, I was not going to even try and deal with anybody concerning a Honda. Then I heard about Rusty and decided I'd give them another chance.
