Typically I call and ask for Zach because I like having a consistent face and name to deal with and Zach has been excellent in scheduling and following up to make sure everything went as expected. For the record, I have also worked with other representatives, and have always had a positive experience. The staff at Rusty Eck are top notch, to say the least. More
Crooks with a smile If you are a glutton for punishment, I would highly recommend Rusty Eck to you. I (not my real name above) purchased a Ford Fusion from Rusty Eck in 2007. I have since used them for every service or repair I have had, which is part of the fine print stipulations for almost every promotion they offer, at a ridiculous mark up compared to most shops in town. Since day one, every time I have been in for service or repair, the service staff has tried to find a way to weasel out of these promotions (the since discontinued promotion for "tires for life specifically). The service managers that will deal with you (Glenn Williams most recently) will pat themselves on the back constantly in front of you, and tell you how honest and straight forward they are, while the shove overpriced repairs down your throat, while at the same time working to deny you the promotions you were promised upon purchasing your vehicle. Again, fine print. My most recent visit was for a transmission flush (over priced at nearly $200). During that visit, my car erupted into flames in the service bay. What I've been told by them is, somehow something in my truck ignited and started the fire. I guess spontaneous combustion is real after all. I'm told that I must have caused this when I brought it in and parked it, except the trunk had not been opened in nearly a month. After denying any responsibility for the fire, I am told that the rate just to find out what happened is $105 per hour, not including repair. I had also brought my car to them to replace my tires as they were well below the point at which they would be replaced (tires for life). When they proceeded to tell me that having my oil changed at their location (stipulation) was not enough, but I needed to have it changed every 6 months also (again, fine print). I drive less than most, so changing my oil every 6 months did not naturally happen based on mileage. At this point is when I find out about the 6 month stipulation. I would strongly recommend anyone who wants to spend their hard earned money on a beautiful new vehicle, please explore your options at other dealerships. You will be happy you did. More

I checked eve The day after I brought my truck home (2014 F150 12k miles), my truck drove very roughly and my low tire pressure warning light came on. I checked every tire and they all had a different pressure, from 24 to 30 psi. I called to complain to Zack and he immediately became defensive and unprofessional for a customer, who was dissatisfied with the service, both for the vehicle and from the consultant Zack. Seems like he needs more training on how to handle upset customers.. More

Starting from that date, I was assigned Glenn Williams in the Service Department. (I should state that during the first encounter with Glenn, I have been through the Edge and I am now on my third C-Max.) Every visit any of my cars have been through, the quality of service is beyond exceptional quality. Not only are my vehicles guaranteed the right service, but Glenn Williams always makes sure that I understand what is need and why. More

The process seemed long but probably felt like it was from me being anxious. In and out in few hours... bot too bad for a person without the best of credit. Outstanding Internet department. Michael Clark was on point getting the right car to fit budget, family lifestyle, and gave an all around awesome sales experience. Not the best credit and they knew that and treated me with the upmost respect not only as a customer but as a friend. I've heard some bad reviews from others talking but that wasn't my experience at all... instead they exceeded my expectations I first had going in there. I will be a returning customer to Internet dept especially to salesperson Michael Clark, we both gained a friend and lifetime customer. More

So after sitting through all the paperwork BS, the sales person finally gets back with numbers for the deal. Something doesn't seem right and I find that the starting value is higher than MSRP. I had to look the car up on the dealers website my phone to show the sales person the MSRP was $17,155 not $18,655. He then said well for the $5,000 trade in deal the dealer keep all the rebates so they are added to the price. What rebates are added on top of MSRP? What kind of math idiots are you? I agree the dealership keeps the rebates for the trade deal but I shouldn't have to pay for them. So I then decide to default back to the original used car deal that I had started with. The deal was agreed to in email that it would be $9k out the door. Sales person comes back and say, Ok so we are at $11,XXX. What? How did $9k out the door become $11k? I'm told well the car should really be on the lot for $11,200 but we'll honor the $9,988 web prices plus taxes and fees. Well in my world $9k out the door means all taxes and fees are included. More math stupidity. So call this a ripoff place. If you are buying here check the math as they are out to rip you off as they can't add or honor their deals. More
another day goes by my name is jesi norris. i have posted to this site a few times in the past. i am posting again today and will continue to post to let people know how my name is jesi norris. i have posted to this site a few times in the past. i am posting again today and will continue to post to let people know how unfairly i am being treated by this dealership. if you haven't read my posts before, to sum it up, i am paying my monthly lease and have not been able to drive my leased ford focus for 4 months now. rusty eck refuses to fix the car. this week i have spoke to ken and brandon at rusty eck after friends of mine posted on facebook how unfair they are treating me. i am going to continue to post to warn others so they do not get stuck in the same situation. every time i call and ask to be put into contact with the owner, nobody wants to give me any information for that. i spent an entire evening looking for sites to post to warn people. not only did i find this site, i also found a website called GLASSDOOR. this site was so amusing. a site set up and dedicated soley for rusty eck employees to talk about how horrible it is to work there!!!! if you are smart and don't want to throw your money away, RUN AS FAR AND AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a new 2014 Ford Focus. Shortly after purchasing it the transmission started to slip in lower gears and the back doors didn't shut correctly. So I took it into the service department and they fixed the doors and the clutch. When I returned to pick up my car I was told by Glenn Williams about all the work they had done and he finished by saying "we did what we could with the doors but it's a focus, not a Lincoln." I honestly could not believe someone would say that. It shouldn't matter what the car is, it's brand new and the doors should operate correctly. I went back in 6 months later to have a tire repaired and the transmission issue had come up again so I mentioned it to Glenn again and was told that it was a normal thing that I will just have to deal with. So yesterday I took the car to another dealership and they diagnosed the car and low and behold, it needs a new clutch. I am truly disappointed in the level of service and the way in which I was treated at Rusty Eck's service department and I will no longer take my vehicle there or much less even park in the parking lot. I will also be forwarding this complaint to Ford. Completely unacceptable. More
No third chances! We went in to look at cars and told them what we wanted our payment to be. We were very specific about how much we wanted to spend a month. They said We went in to look at cars and told them what we wanted our payment to be. We were very specific about how much we wanted to spend a month. They said they had two vehicles in our price range to show us. My husband really liked one and was very interested in buying it. We asked how much it was and the salesman would not tell us, he just kept repeating that it was in our payment range. I asked several times because it seemed more then we could afford. Come to find out the payment was $150 over what we said. Then they wanted me to sign my name on something saying that I would buy it and they would get the price down. We walked out very upset. So, today we decided to give them a second chance. I heard about a promotion on the radio saying $5000 for every trade-in. We have three vehicles we are trying to get rid of. I called and told my husband so he called up to ask if he could trade all in for one with that promotion. He was told yes. Just to make sure he called two more times and spoke to different people. All told him yes. With three people saying yes we decided to go in and give them a second chance. Cedric pretty much laughed at us when we got there. Said we would have to buy three cars. I never should have told my husband. Never should have bothered with trying again. They will say anything to get you in there and then try to pressure you and flat out lie to you. Do not trust them. And remember, if you do buy a car, you are paying for the gym and movie theatre and free food. The packages they throw on there are not worth it. Just another way to cheat good people out of their money. More
