Questionable business practices. Rusty Eck advertized a cash prize give away that I had "won". My car is fairly new and I still owed money on it so I told the salesman that I couldn't trade because I would be upside down on the payments. He offered to have my vehicle appraised. The appraisal found that I was in fact upside down on my vehicle. I never once walked on the lot and looked at a car yet the company ran my credit report. This was a hard inquiry against my credit for absolutely no reason. Do not give this company your information. More

Wasn’t terribly thrilled with the finan Not very happy about my experience with Rusty Eck Ford in Wichita, KS. Made a deal on Saturday on a new F-250. Wasn’t terribly thrilled with the financing option they gave me but it worked for me. Supposed to be a done deal. However, today, Thursday, they called me to tell me I had to come in to finish up the financing paperwork even though I already had a signed sales contract. I went in and they wanted me to pay more than another percent in interest and a hundred dollars per month extra on my loan. Their answer to solve the issue was to give me back my trade in and cancel the deal. Will never work with this dealership again and will likely never look at another Ford again due to this. Never had such a terrible experience with pressure on the sales side and the finance department was less than helpful. I have financed multiple vehicles with other dealers in the past and when a deal was done, it was done. I was able to negotiate the interest rate and other terms where this wasn’t an option at Rusty Eck either. Buyer’s beware! Watch your back at Rust Eck Ford! More

Later that day I received a wonderful video from Doug Ford. Doug told me about the Expedition and literally videotaped the outside and inside of the vehicle. I let him know that I had not purchased a vehicle since 2008 and had never looked for a vehicle on the internet. I did not realize that they were in Kansas. He assured me that they deliver anywhere. He was absolutely a wonderful salesman. Shawna Behen reached out to see what my trade in value would be not knowing that my vehicle was totaled but she reached out via email and I truly appreciated the email. Aimee also reached out to see if I needed anymore information. Yesterday I was able to find a used Expedition in my town but I would use Rusty Eck Ford. Great service. More
Heater problem on 19 degree day Brian at the service desk along with tylor in the service department are obviously very customer concerned,I pulled in on Saturday,explained my proble Brian at the service desk along with tylor in the service department are obviously very customer concerned,I pulled in on Saturday,explained my problem with my heater blowing cold air on this 19 degree day.Brian said he would have it looked to see what could be done.Brian andtylor worked together and finally determined the apparent problem was a software update and they installed the original program,corrected the problem and tylor said they would report the problem to ford and I was able to leave with my problem solved. I appreciate the effort they put into this,I certainly realize they could have done the same as so many have done to me in the past (not a trusty eck) and told me I would have to schedule an appointment Monday morning,and left me stranded until Monday.I am sure glad I went ahead and brought it in when these two were on duty.Thanks Brian and tylor and rusty. Spamming my cell phone I scheduled my car for a recall, just the recall. Today, Saturday afternoon two days before my scheduled repair, I get a test message that reads: Hey! My name is Jack Reynolds and I have just been transferred to Rusty Eck from England! I’ve been assigned your account and I see you have a service booked with us soon. I’m here to launch the end of year hurricane grant for Ford and basically I am running huge rebates and for the first time ever 0% interest! Usually it’s only one or the other. If you wanna save some service costs then hit me up and I’d love to go over some options with you! Have a great day!. Really? I am not nor am I buying a vehicle and never gave anyone permission to spam me. This is incredibly poor taste and judgement. I proceeded to cancel my appointment and will never return to Rusty Eck. During the process of purchasing a new vehicle we were unable to get approved for financing. Durning the next week we had plenty of contact with our salesman Kareem. He explained to us that we were going to need to put an extra 4,000 down in order to keep the truck. A few days before we totaled our other vehicle and were down to one car. The people at rusty eck ford knew that we were not going to be able to come up with 4,000 dollars. They understood our situation and helped us out by allowing us to return the vehicle for our trade. I cannot thank the people at rusty eck ford enough for what they have done for my wife and I. Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. More
Very unhappy customer I walked into this dealership to schedule a time to bring my truck in to check why the check engine light is on. I have to add the motor was completel I walked into this dealership to schedule a time to bring my truck in to check why the check engine light is on. I have to add the motor was completely replaced only 4 weeks prior. I also need to add the work was done in Connecticut as I travel for a living. First question was did we do the new engine. I told them it was done in Hartford Ct. he proceeds to tell me there will be a 149.99 diagnostic charge. Are you kidding me just to look at the truck. I then asked well ok will that fee be applied to any repairs that may need to be done. I was told no it is the diagnostic fee any work will be extra. So I left who in their right mind will pay 149.99 just to have an engine that is guaranteed for 3 years looked at. I walked out. Well a week later I called them and explained I was there last week and the conversation we had. I then said if I come in for an oil change ( by the way always around 120.00$) Will they at least check it out and see why the engine light is on. Again I was told nope 149.99 to diagnose the issue. I'm floored to think this dealership can practice this policy. I've worked in at least 42 states and have had my fords serviced in probably most of them and I have never been told there is a 149.99 fee just to look at my truck. I hope the locals are not paying this crazy fee but what may be worse is if this is their practice to out of towners then shame on them. . I called another dealership in town and they were more than happy to take a look free of charge even booked me for a Saturday due to my work schedule. More

He was extremely frie I had a wonderful experience with my last purchase at Rusty Eck Ford. I purchased a used F-150 FX4. My salesperson was Brian. He was extremely friendly and easy to work with. I loved the truck from the moment I saw it so I knew that I was going to get it. Paperwork went smoothly. They were very fair on my trade, a 2015 Toyota 4 Runner. The truck was clean and ready to go. Finance was quick. I worked with Gabe and again he was very friendly. In all, my experience was great. I got the truck I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. I would recommend this dealership easily. More
