We had a great experience buying a Maverick hybrid at Russell Barnett. Chris Hunter was our salesperson. He was very helpful, respectful, and accommodating. It was a pleasure working with him. We're Russell Barnett. Chris Hunter was our salesperson. He was very helpful, respectful, and accommodating. It was a pleasure working with him. We're also very pleased with the Maverick - high value for the money. We're getting 37-40mpg. Great vehicle for our family of four. Highly recommend! More

Took our GMC Canyon to the GMC dealership in Winchester last Friday to be serviced. That night as we were going out to eat we received an alert to add oil. stopped at a gas station and added 4 quarts of oi last Friday to be serviced. That night as we were going out to eat we received an alert to add oil. stopped at a gas station and added 4 quarts of oil. It was dark, it was raining the oil was expensive. Gave the dealership a call on Saturday morning and was told to bring it in. We live an hour away. The result was an O ring, no idea if it was from the old filter or the new. We received no apology, no concern of our inconvenience. We take the truck there because we purchased it there and felt they would be professional in dealing with our needs. We expected more from this dealership and especially the service department. The service department is an important factor when I purchase a vehicle. This was the second truck we purchased from this dealership. More
I bought back in used suv from Russell Barnett in Winchester, TN. Back in November. The salesman there said that this vehicle had been checked mechanically in their shop. After just a couple days I h Winchester, TN. Back in November. The salesman there said that this vehicle had been checked mechanically in their shop. After just a couple days I had the passengers side breaks lock up because of a bad master cylinder. Along with numerous other issues, I'm assuming this vehicle never was checked out in their shop. I would recommend those wanting to do business with this particular salesman should be aware. Lost my future business. This was a bad decision buying this car from this dealership. More
Absolutely Appalling Customer Service I am writing this review on behalf of my father and his dealings with Russell Barnett Ford of 4055 Tullahoma Highway , Winchester, Tn My father , I am writing this review on behalf of my father and his dealings with Russell Barnett Ford of 4055 Tullahoma Highway , Winchester, Tn My father , Reynolds S. Gill retired Master Sargent a 70 year old Vietnam veteran had to have the clutch and clutch master cylinder worked on in his 1986 Ford F-150.The particular F-150 is equipped with a 300 inline six with a 4-speed, with 1st gear ordered from the factory as a granny gear. So we bought this truck brand new in 1986 with this configuration. First gear is a granny gear and then 2nd , 3rd and 4th to be used out on the public roads. Granny gear as we all know is only to be used to do work, towing or heavy pulling or just to get an extra heavy load moving, NOT as an actual 1st gear. From day one we all have driven this truck the same, started off in 2nd gear. The repair work needed to be completed was very straight forward, however I could not get to the work due to my work schedule at the hospital. Summer of 2019 the F-150 was sent by trailer to the dealership and dropped off, the dealership started the work. The F-150 , Bronco and many many other ford trucks of this era had a defect in that the clutch master cylinder will push away from the fire wall due to excessive force needed to push the clutch pedal. However there was a recall to address this problem. The recall has long passed, but all the parts to do the recall work is still available. The dealership was told to replace the broken master cylinder push rod and do the recall work to prevent this from happening again. I was told that when my father dropped off the F-150, the associate assured my father that they knew of the recall and knew what to look for. Fast forward...and the F-150 was ready to be picked up. When my father went to leave the dealership he put the truck in 2nd gear to take off, like we have done for the last 34 years only to find the truck bogging down, started chattering and not wanting to take off. My father went back in to tell the personnel about this problem only to be blown off and talked down to. He was told that you always take off in 1st gear in a stick shift! Talking to my father like he did not know how to drive a manual! My father is the quiet type and did not put up much of a stink. Well as the days passed he could not drive this truck in traffic and actually went back to the dealership two more times to tell them that this truck is not to be started off in 1st gear and it has never acted like this in the 34 years we have had it! I did not know about how the dealership had treated my father and was feeding him a line of incorrect information. I knew this particular transmission is not to be used in 1st gear on the streets. The transmission 1st gear is not even synchronized and you can not shift it like a conventional 1st gear. This tells me that the dealership did not test drive the truck. On a side note, we have taken this 1986 truck to them in the past and have out right been turned away for repairs because we were told they could not work on this old of a truck! So when I found out about how he was treated, I personally took the truck to the dealership. During the eleven mile drive, I was blown away how terrible the truck now drove, it was down right dangerous! To make a long story short, I like my father had to make three trips to the dealership, each time being blown of, getting the same answers. I was told”You always start off in 1st gear” I was even told by the service department that they could not find much information on this truck because it was older. So that begs the answer...How did they even know what parts to order for the repairs if they could not find information on this clutch and master cylinder set? I can not believe this dealership sent my elderly father away to drive on in traffic with such a dangerous vehicle that is near impossible to drive. They obviously did not test drive it after they botched the work. Do not take your vehicles to this dealership! We have actually bought two brand new vehicles and none of them were Fords due to this incident! More

He I had the most stress free car buying experience in my 50 years of buying cars. Our salesman, Rudy McConnell, was very helpful; not pushy at all. He gave us very fair trade-in value for our car (didn't have to dicker at all on the trade-in value or final price). We purchased a 2019 Edge SEL. The entire buying experience only took about two hours from deciding on the vehicle we wanted, test drive, purchase and driving it home. I highly recommend Russell Barnett Ford and salesman, Rudy McConnell. More

Whilst we have spoken with several other dealerships' agents and have done our personal research on the type, year model of the next car we would like to purchase, we got hooked up instantly to this dealership having to deal with the most hardworking & pressing car dealer management there is. The haggling of the price and freebies (for which stupid as we are, thought the freebies were- all for free) past the closing time of 6 pm and thus, were told to just take with us the SUV we wished to buy and complete the rest of the dealings the following day. We ended trading our 2013 Toyota car for not a very good deal on our behalf to get the SUV we wanted. The rest is history. Given some misunderstanding with the financing and some personal issues, this review came late. Rest assured the people that comprise this dealership, "business-minded" as they are expected to be, are very nice, sensitive people. To AL STIDHAM, Russell Barnett's sales agent, and who arranged most of our dealings with this company; from our car purchase to our first oil change & car cleaning, thank you so much! No one could have done it better. Your kind, very calm & professional manner is beyond compare. Two thumbs up for you, Sir! To the people from the service department, you did a good job-thanks a lot.
