Would have been a good experience if people were wearing masks. Outrageous to think that staff cares so little for their customer that they can’t follow basic protocol to reduce risk of exposing people to C masks. Few month ago had my suv in for oil change and fluids checked. This past week I thought my windshield wash was frozen. Went to check and noticed something wasn't right. Finally clicked that the cap for checked. This past week I thought my windshield wash was frozen. Went to check and noticed something wasn't right. Finally clicked that the cap for the antifreeze reservoir was missing. (Explains why after having it serviced I smelled antifreeze. Thought some must have been spilled.) Called Russ Darrow and it was like I was asking for gold to have them replace it. They advised would have to order or I could pick up at their location at Milwaukee Metro Mall. Said I would pick up there. When I arrived they had not been notified so I had to purchase myself. Now mean time there is barely any antifreeze in the system. They would not fill for me. The service advisor told me I could purchase and to get the 50/50 blue. I was now pissed and just got out of there. Went to Farm Fleet and purchased the 50/50. You can't see the color. Get home and it was yellow. Called Russ Darrow back and they advised do not mix. Bring suv back or purchase from them. I live 24 miles from either Russ Darrow location. Called Advanced Auto and thankfully their guys new which one Nissan required and went down to the store which is only 2 miles. In the meantime I now have spent 3.50 for the cap. 13.99 at Farm Fleet and 18.00 at Advanced Auto. This should have just been done for me with Russ Darrow. Will be going back to Boucher Nissan even if they are 38 miles from me. More
Service director Keith McGinnis was phenomenal. He was kind, informative, answered questions, and even took the time to place the updated registration sticker on my SUV himself. The female cashier on chec kind, informative, answered questions, and even took the time to place the updated registration sticker on my SUV himself. The female cashier on checkout was also very helpful and kind. I was very impressed with the customer service I saw being given to all customers at this location. I typically go to a Nissan dealership in the Milwaukee area, but found this place by accident when looking for a service center that also completed emissions testing. I will be coming up here from now on due to the excellent customer service. It's been years since I've seen this type of excellent customer service at a dealership... or really anywhere for that matter. More
It seems like the service dept at West Bend looks for reasons to not do warranty work. I have an issue with a muffler and the mechanic said it was damaged in an accident. First oil change and tire rotation went good at Nissan in West Bend. Easy to schedule didn't have to wait long for an appointment. Also, for the second time addressed an issue with the headlights/lamp unit, West Bend. Easy to schedule didn't have to wait long for an appointment. Also, for the second time addressed an issue with the headlights/lamp unit, which was present when we purchased the car from Russ Darrow Metro Mall in May, which after some discussion with Keith the manger in West Bend, he agreed to help us look into. Hopeful that will be resolved positively by Russ Darrow! More
