I have had a very positive Sales experience with each purchase. More importantly, it's the Service Department that continues to impress and solidifies my decision to make future purchases here. Mike and Marvin are fantastic, courteous, and helpful. I've witnessed some challenging situations with customers, which these two gents handled with professionalism. More

Salesman and Manager nice but car smelled and not clean The salesman was very nice, polite, and seemed knowledgeable. The manager was nice and detail oriented (paperwork) as well. However, the car I purchased was definitely not looked at with any attention to detail insofar as detailing or cleaning it up. The test drive didn't indicate any smell since the car was outside in the cold. However after the sale, when driving it away and turning the heat on, it stunk like cigarettes, even though I was told that the previous owner was not a smoker. Only 10 miles later after driving away, the tire air pressure warning light lit up. Did anyone in service take the time to check or inspect the simple things about the vehicle? Stopped to check the air pressure (which the salesman told me was supposedly checked by service department), and found that 2 tires were under inflated and showing over 10 psi under the tire manufacturer recommendation. The general cleanliness of the car inside was lacking. Found that someone had 'wiped' things down, but left a sticky film on everything. Hands even stuck to the steering wheel from whatever it was that was used to 'clean' things up. However, the car is so far (after 2 days), running well. Bottom line, their service dept (or whoever they have that's supposed to 'detail' the car) needs to pay closer attention to details, because the car was definitely not clean inside, and smells like someone has smoked inside the vehicle. Overall, I'm more impressed with the sales and manager staff, but whoever they have in charge of cleaning cars needs training. A customer should not worry about whether or not the car they just purchased and took a loan out for has been checked for proper tire inflation and if the care smells like smoke, or if there is a sticky residue on the inside of the car. This morning, my check engine light came on, and I haven't even had this vehicle for 30 days. I've called the dealership to request the form showing what inspections that they've performed on the vehicle, so that I can compare it with what is found when I take this vehicle to another dealership to be inspected. Really, I expected at least a minimum of someone checking fluid levels, air pressure, oil change, etc. I'm not sure if anyone even took the time to do that with this vehicle. I'll be back on this review again once I find out what else is going on. More

Service was terrible!!!!!! Went for my first of 3 free oil changes and experience was not good. Service writer rude, did not get my car washed as promise because car wash not working and when I asked what was the air pressure in my tires I was told "If it wasn't right we would have told you" would not recommend this service department to anybody. What a terrible way to treat a customer who just recently bought a new car from Russ Darrow. I guess once they get your money you are of no use to them especially on a free oil change. I'll let all my friends know not to use their service., More
