Car Serviced I went here to get my car serviced and an oil change. I called ahead of time a couple of days prior to schedule an appointment and over the phone a l I went here to get my car serviced and an oil change. I called ahead of time a couple of days prior to schedule an appointment and over the phone a lady get all the information. I get there Sat and nothing I said was put in so I had to go over it again. I got an oil change and some other caution lights were on so the tech said that they would look into it and see whats going on. I agreed the tech finally come out and say my heat wasn't properly working because of I had my vents closed and that was not the case my heat went out about a week prior so yes I closed the vents because cold air was blowing out. So basically a diagnostic test was done they pretend to have found nothing and said oh yeah the heat is fixed coolant levels were back up and they were done. So she tells me I have to pay the diagnostic fee because her guys have to be paid even though they could not figure out the problem. I get home which is on 68th Bobolink all the caution light come back on and the heat goes right back out now mind you this was not even 10mins of me leaving the dealership. I was very displeased with the service I got and I feel I was played out of my money because I called and told her that the service lights came back on she tells me to come back to brown deer as im omw back she then called back and said I need to go to the dealer on 76th street beacuse there was nothing their dealership in brown deer could do about the my car and the complications. I have a problem with that because I boight my car out there and you mean to tell me I was sold this car in April this year only being 8 months of driving it and you all know nothing. She did not even try to make any calls or anything. Mind you the russ darrow on 76th street charged the diagnostic to my warranty in which I feel they should have done in brown deer but instead I paid 60.00 dollars to have then not even know what the problem was even the paper given to me said absolutely nothing that could have helped me figure out my next move I have 2 small kids it was not a nice experience driving with not heat to school and work. She did not even go into my warranty details to even attmpt to see if anything was covered. I bought my prio car ftom abtoyota dealer and I was ablr to take it back where I bought it and they were able to help me not send me to other places im just being honest. Overall I am not going to be going back there not even for an oil change . If I happen to I do not want to work with the same person I felt she was very inexperienced. Even when I was telling her my problems it was like a umm hmmm yeah Ok not listening type of thing. My last oil change I did get there and the guy went on and told me about somethinhs that needed to be replaced but next time if there is even one I would like someone who is going to actually help the situation. So this experience was an epic fail. More

Serviced car and diagnosed warning light problem. Two warning lights were illuminated on dashboard. These were diagnosed, one was due to loose gas cap, the other to a faulty break hold switch. I realized later that the wiper blades were SHOT & the antenna is missing. Imagine 1 of the most important features w/0 an antenna. Their response: “How do we know it didn’t happen while you had it” ...for that short amount that i had it? BCOZ I’M HONEST. I’M NOT GOING TO xxxx OVER WIPER BLADES & AN ANTENNA. I was told they would look for the 2nd fob. I still have only 1. That would be a real hardship if i misplaced it. Ugly: I can’t believe that ____ w/the glasses is still hired. It was a total bother for him to bring back out a BRAND NEW car that i was considering the 1st time i shopped Darrow. The only reason i came back, back then, was i saw a veh i liked in the lot, & bought it. The AA guy who sold it to me (duzn’t work there anymore) was much nicer than the 1st guy. So i came back & bought a 2nd 1 from Darrow ...but not sure i’ll be back esp due to feeling ripped off w/blades & antenna, & what they “said about me”. Just used to that pleasant feeling of businesses bending over backwards these days. Tip: Ask if cust wants car wash w/oil change. I just got mine professionally washed only to come out & have to wipe it all down, also fearing that Darrow’s wash may have removed the wax & poly shield etc. I will accept a call if you like. 414-573-6097 More
