Very thorough with explaining things to me during the buying process. They actually listen to you and aren't just looking to take your money. Way more honest on trade in and selling price. They help a middle class hard working person make it possible to own something nice. More

STAY AWAY FROM RUSS DARROW APPLETON ING WARNING **********************************Do not ever trust these people********************************they will lie about everything to get a sa ING WARNING **********************************Do not ever trust these people********************************they will lie about everything to get a sale. I bought a vehicle here and have spend more than I paid for the vehicle in repairs. They tell you to buy a warranty from Zurich for a lot of money and then do not stand behind their products!!!!! I bought the vehicle and should have know that the salesman was lying to me. The vehicle "allegedly" passed inspection, and was told by the salesman that they would make sure the airbag light was fixed before I picked up the vehicle. Guess what...it was not and now they want 650 dollars to fix the airbags. The vehicle was making terrible noises 2 months after I purchased it. The vehicle had no oil in it. None of the dash warning lights ever warned me of no oil. The vehicle like I said was purchased 2 months before. I checked the oil and sure enough no oil in it. I took it in and they said " I couldn't tell you why no oil light came on but we need to tear this engine down at a cost of 700 dollars so that Zurich....the warranty would put a new engine in. Zurich denied the claim of course after appealing it was still denied stating that it was :wear and tear". I tried to speak with the Dealership Manager but of course only got his voicemail and had other employees call me back. Weak!!!!! He is to afraid to deal with the customers and complaints because he knows that he is selling junk and warranties that mean nothing. Just beware of these tactics. I am in the process of filing a lemon law claim with the State of Wisconsin, as well as going to the DOT for selling the vehicle without airbags working. I am also in the process of filing a Federal DOT claim for inspection fraud, along with filing a lawsuit against this dealership for unfair and deceiving sales practices. Good thing I have them recorded stating these falsehoods about the airbag being fixed before I picked up the vehicle and also about the warranty "covering anything on the power train" which is what the salesman stated. He said that I would never have to worry because Zurich covers "everything", that is why it is worth the cost. All in all never, I REPEAT never purchase any vehicle or warranty from this dealership. Unless you like being cheated, lied to, disrespected, and taken advantage of and spending more that you purchased the vehicle for!!!!!!!!!!!! RUSS DARROW SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!!!! More

I get that your in business to sell cars not to care about the affects that your employees have on customers after those cars are bought, but as a business owner myself, we both should know that bad PR is not good for any business and can ultimately close a business...… I will start out by saying that because of the poor service and lack of professionalism at the Appleton location, I started going to the Green Bay location to have service done just to avoid Shelly and the service Manager- a guy. Service was never consistent or just missed completely. When the employees are called out on it, they get very defensive and argumentative! Then about a few months ago, the Green Bay location was closed? Makes a person wonder why???? So then I was basically forced to go back to the Appleton location. I used to think that I shouldn't have to stop going somewhere because the employees are not doing there job- keep in mind only at this 1 location. I don't feel that I should have to find a new place to take my car, the car I bought from the dealership elsewhere but at this point I want to just sell my car just so that I wont deal with anything or person from Russ Darrow. I eventually did and do take my car elsewhere. I get regular oil changes and any maintenance done, and will only go to Russ Darrow maybe every few months to get the inspection done and then any recommendations I take my car to another shop to fix. This keeps getting better by the contact...… About 4 weeks ago I reached out to the finance department to follow-up on my warranty that is almost up. As of today, I called again, because again, another week went by and no returned call from finance department- Nicole Piper. The lady that answered the phone today recognized my name again and said that she will patch me through to Evette. Evette got on the line and at this point I asked her specifically who was in charge of the department? Evette replied that she is. I asked her how is it that weeks can go by and nobody returns phone calls? I asked Evette who her supervisor was? and she flat out refused to tell me. I asked her 5-6 times who her boss was? and nothing but a "laugh and that he won't talk to me". I told her that I will find out myself and ended the call. This past weekend was one of the "every few months" stop. Since I was there getting oil change done, I wanted to follow up on my dead to ear phone calls to the finance dept. from the previous weeks of leaving messages. I was told by the service counter person to go to the front and ask for a "Heather". I ended up finding who Heather was and had her look my warranty info up and tell me how much is left on the balance and what are the options if I went through Russ Darrow to extend it? Like mostly every encounter with Russ Darrow employees, it didn't go so well. Heather first couldn't find my policy so it took her a min, then when she did, she tells me that my warranty of 100k wasn't truly for 100k! The exchange was not pleasant- as an upset customer first finding out that I was "scammed" she only fueled the situation with her attitude because I was upset! I called the warranty company this morning because my experience with anybody from Russ Darrow makes me question anything Russ Darrow says, confirms to me that I was mislead! So the $1888.00 I paid for a 100k warranty was only really for 68,297k! I am highly utterly disgusted. My fine print in the contract states that my warranty is for a vehicle that has "0 miles",- it also has what the miles were at the time of purchase which clearly shows there were miles on car. More
