Excellent service rep mark gilliand! Mark is an exceptional rep. He was on top of my cars service and kept me abreast of all the issues. Very happy with him. Needed my backup battery replaced Naeem Adams and the rest of the crew are exceptional. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Great overall experience. 20,000 service Saturday April 13th Wanted an answer why my sport key didn’t work. My service rep had ONE car in front of me and said he was “overwhelmed”. The place was dead and he is Wanted an answer why my sport key didn’t work. My service rep had ONE car in front of me and said he was “overwhelmed”. The place was dead and he is overwhelmed ? He told me to come back during the week for a answer. So I asked the parts employee, he was unhelpful and said ask service. When I told him I already did he shrugged his shoulders. No one stepped up to resolve it. So I had to find the GM ( Sally) who was great and got Ephrem involved who was apologetic and got an answer. But why do I have to be insistent to get a answer? Then during my 20,000 service the rep calls and recommend back brake pads. I follow his recommendation, but when I go to pick up the car the service sheet shows the brakes were at .08 and .10 is new. They didn’t need to be replaced, so I wasted $300. Basically pretty disappointed in the service from a higher end dealer .... to top it off when I got home there is a coupon in the mail from Volvo offer 20% on service. Finished a disappointing day. 10K mile service Thought I was taking my car in for a simple 10K mile service. Turns out, a part broke and required authorization from factory in Sweden to replace. Th Thought I was taking my car in for a simple 10K mile service. Turns out, a part broke and required authorization from factory in Sweden to replace. The factory was conveniently closed for 2 days. In the end, service took 1 week to complete. I was not offered a loaner because the dealership was all out. The disappointing part and reason for bad experience is twofold: 1. I was calling the advisor for updates and was not provided regular updates. 2. Advisor called Friday and was told my car is ready and was clean / ready to go. My car was very poorly washed and vacuumed. I’ve serviced plenty of cars and this is the dirtiest / poorest washing job I’ve ever experienced. I expect better and more especially having to wait for a week for my car to be ready. More
Not happy with the service 1. The first time Rusnak Service Center inspected my vehicle, they had to remove panels from the interior of the car. I had to return to the service c 1. The first time Rusnak Service Center inspected my vehicle, they had to remove panels from the interior of the car. I had to return to the service center because panels were not put back correctly and were falling off and the interior of the roof had finger marks. 2. They promised to find a noise coming from the back of the car and told me to come back another time - they would take care of it then. When I was back for the 50k service, they refused what they promised and told me to take the car to where I purchased it for that particular issue. 3. They rotated the tires. The tire pressure was completely off (have photos and time stamp) at unsafe levels. I had them re adjust the pressure. 4. During the 50k service they crimped the oil filter which resulted in an oil leak. This left a substantial oil puddle and now stain on my garage floor. When I returned to get the problem they caused fixed, nobody offered to take care of of the oil sitting on my garage floor. I had to go to the service manager to ask that they take care of the mess that happened. First he asked me if I had photos to prove there was a spill. Then he told me he would send someone over to clean the mess. He never did. 5. Right after the 50k service was completed, I had just left Rusnak the day before, the car display showed a coolant problem alert. It instructed me to stop driving immediately. I called my service adviser at Rusnack and he told me it wasn’t a problem. He said that it is ok to just add some water or go and get some coolant and pour it in myself, and that would fix the problem. He said the alert was likely from an air pocket/bubble as a result of an engine flush they performed. I was surprised that he did not offer to fix the coolant issue at the his service center I had to ask him to do that. That was the last straw. I called a different service center - Galpin. It turned out it was indeed a coolant leak and it would have been a big issue if left to continue or if I had done what the service advisor at Rusnak had instructed. 6. While at Galpin, they opened the hood in front of me to inspect the car, I saw that the engine cover had a hole in it and the plastic parts around the engine were scratched. I know for a fact that the engine and cover was pristine when I bought the car. The I called Rusnak yet again to alert them to what we found and he never called me back. More
