I took my 2004 Nissan Xterra in today (03/31/22) to have a recall repair done. Ms. Liz Plaisance, Service Advisor did an outstanding job scheduling my initial appointment; ensuring parts needed were ordered a recall repair done. I went in for a recall on the hood latch in my Altima and got the free oil / filter change for the inconvenience which is nice. They were quick to get my car to the back and they were all as nice as can be. got the free oil / filter change for the inconvenience which is nice. An hour and 15 minutes later they get back to me after an "inspection" saying my brake pads were measured at 3MM for each pad which is usually a good time to change them out. They wanted me to pay $400 + fees and taxes to replace all brake pads and spin the rotors. So I go home knowing that I changed my brake pads myself about 5 months ago for about $80-90 and I measured them carefully at 8MM for each pad. So they straight up lied to me about the measurement or they just didn't even inspect my car to begin with. I'm 21 years old but I do look younger so I guess they thought I was gullible enough to waste $450+ for a "critical concern" brake job. Cracks me up hahaa. BE CAREFUL young ones and learn your cars I beg you. note: I hate dogging on businesses like this... but when it comes to MY bank account, absolutely not. More
