Service writer Lee was amazing. He under promised and over delivered when it came to how long I’d have to wait. I much rather be told it will take two hours and be prepared for that time length than hav over delivered when it came to how long I’d have to wait. The Service Dept. at this Dealership is top shelf! I first encountered them over a year ago, while traveling out of state for a family emergency. I am originally from Idaho and my Mazda was previously o first encountered them over a year ago, while traveling out of state for a family emergency. I am originally from Idaho and my Mazda was previously only serviced in caldwell. Royal Moore treated me as if I had been their customer from the beginning, Not only addressing my issue but mentioning an wear part that should be addressed before driving another 800 miles back home. A second encounter came while working in Colorado. I found myself 200 miles from the nearest Mazda dealership in any direction. I called Royal Moore and immediately received help from Parts and Service. And now, living in Oregon again, there was no other consideration but to return to Royal Moore to service my Mazda. I was having an issue with my low beam headlights, Elena addressed it immediately, got me in and taken care of within 3 days. I am already a loyal Mazda owner, but having a Service Dept like this guarantees my loyalty to the brand and this dealership for my next purchase. I had an oil change and they rotated my tires and everything that goes with it. I’m handicap so they came and picked up my car and dropped it back off again. Derek Whitmore and Nathan Hines sold me a car, but they didn't give me the option of paying the taxes as part of my loan. Instead, they just let me show up to the DMV to pick up my license plates two week didn't give me the option of paying the taxes as part of my loan. Instead, they just let me show up to the DMV to pick up my license plates two weeks later and get stuck with a bill for $2300. Totally misrepresented how good the deal was. It's not the end of the world, but they should've made that clear right from the beginning. Then, when I called to complain about it, I talked to a guy (think his name was Brent) who confirmed that I could've rolled that $2300 into the loan (which I absolutely would've done if I'd been given that option), but then he basically told me that his employees don't make mistakes so there's no way they could've forgotten to tell me - I must've just decided that I didn't want the tax to be included in my loan, which made me a LOT madder. Come on. People make mistakes. It's not the end of the world. These guys obviously did. And I'm pissed. If you go here, make sure to ask lots of questions about whether there are going to be any additional fees coming in the future. They won't come right out with it. And good luck. More
