I’ve had great experiences with Royal Moore in the past for oil changes and brake replacements, but this review is specific to my last experience with them to repair my power steering leak and my AC. WARNING: If you want to schedule an appointment to have your vehicle repaired, and don’t mind your car not actually being fixed, but sitting in a “queue” unbeknownst to you, Royal Moore is the service department for you. If you don’t mind a lack of communication, or getting vague placating responses until you drill down on a specific line of questioning, Royal Moore is the service department for you. If you don’t mind leaving your car for 54 days and paying $2,000 for repair work only to have those issues reoccur less than a mile after driving off the lot, Royal Moore is the dealership for you. If you don’t mind a service manager disrespecting you and turning all of this around on you when you immediately drive back to the dealership in tears, and he sarcastically says he’s sorry your personal issues don’t line up with their timelines, then Royal Moore is the service department for you. Personally, my relationship with Royal Moore is over with. Disclaimer: They did actually fix the issue when I brought it right back, but the condescending attitude of the service manager, and inability to accept responsibility for his poor service and communication, was a dealbreaker for me. The Service writer Jeff Garcia has all ways gave me the very best service for the 2017 GMC Serria 4x4 pickup. All the folks @ Royal Moore GMC Buick are very helpful. Arrived 15 minutes early for an appointment that was scheduled a week in advance. Staff had no record of my appointment, but I had the email confirmation. Staff didn't have record of who I was, even though I provided that during the appointment schedule. Took 45 minutes just to check me into my appointment. When I asked how long they thought it might be, I was told it would take 20 minutes for him to get an answer. After an hour, my vehicle hadn't moved from where I left it. At this point I had serious doubts about the quality of work to service my vehicle. I requested my keys so that I could leave and find another dealership. It took them another 5 minutes to find the keys because they hadn't been tagged and they weren't sure where they were. This wasn't a matter of being impatient but rather a judgement call on the quality of service. It's hard for me to imagine that my vehicle will be serviced correctly and honestly when they lack the ability to just simply check in someone with an appointment. More
