DEFECTIVE GLOW PLUGS THE VEHICLE THAT WAS TAKN INTO THW DEALER WAS A 2012 GMC SIERRA 2500HD CREW CAB WITH THE ENGINE CHECK LIGHT ON. THE PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED AS DEFECTIV THE VEHICLE THAT WAS TAKN INTO THW DEALER WAS A 2012 GMC SIERRA 2500HD CREW CAB WITH THE ENGINE CHECK LIGHT ON. THE PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED AS DEFECTIVE GLOW PLUG, THIS IS THE THIRD GLOW PLUG THAT HAS BEEN REPLACED SINCE MARCH. THE DEALER WAS VERY PROMPT AT MAKING REPAIRS. I FELT THAT HE DID EVERY THING HE COULD TO SATISFY ME. THE REPAIRS FOR ALL 3 GLOW PLUGS WERE MADE NO CHARGE TO ME. WHAT MORE COULD I ASK FOR? MAJOR CONCERN IS HOW MANY MORE GLOW PLUGS WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED AND HOW LONG WILL THERE BE NO CHARGE TO ME? I GIVE THE DEALER HIGH MARKS FOR THE COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER DEALING WITH ME. Misleading Extended Warranty Scam My wife and I purchased a 2010 Buick Enclave with ~35,000 miles on it, I were talked into purchasing the Extended Warranty (which I never do) administ My wife and I purchased a 2010 Buick Enclave with ~35,000 miles on it, I were talked into purchasing the Extended Warranty (which I never do) administered by NWAN. It was clearly explained that for $2,200.00 the warranty would be Extended by 72 months or 75,000 miles (35,000 + 75,000 = 110,000) Right? So in this case, with the coverage clearly being explained we purchased their Warranty. Well, I took the car in with ~82,000 miles and guess what, neither Royal Buick/GMC/Cadillac or NWAN would honor the warranty. Claiming that I purchased a 72 month / 75k mile warranty for $2,200.00 that was already half used up. Why would someone do this? And that was NOT what I was told how this would work... as mentioned earlier, I questioned this at the time of purchase. Royal Buick clearly mislead me on this warranty and took $2,200.00 from me in the process. After speaking with both the Royal Management and NWAN it is clear both blames the other and will not do anything to make this right. The cost of the repair was ~$700.00... and I will never spend a dime with Royal Buick in Tucson again. The only way I'll be on Royal lot ever again is for one of the many Recalls that seem to be a trademark of today's Buick. We truly enjoy the Enclave, but Royal Buick has lost a customer for life for their dishonest selling of their extended warranty. More
