I'm writing this review because I want people to know about this dealer being a rip off. I was looking to buy a 2011 Toyota Prius, this dealer was advertising just the car I was looking for so I called t about this dealer being a rip off. I was looking to buy a 2011 Toyota Prius, this dealer was advertising just the car I was looking for so I called the dealer and spoke Alejandra who represented herself as being the finance manager. I asked Alejandra what dealer fees they had, not including tax and registration. she mentioned there was only $85 dollars for paperwork the rest was tax and registration. I went ahead and made an appointment to see the car. When I got to the lot Alejandra showed me the car and I immediately noticed the whole car needed paint work, and after a bit more timeI found the power mirror switch was not working. I asked her if the dealer had tested the main battery because, it's a Prius; the battery is essential, and it had 120k miles on the car. I was told: "we don't test batteries but you can bring your own mechanic to test it". You're selling the car, and you don't know if the battery is in good condition? Again, I was looking for this exact car so I was willing to work something out with her and asked her if she could bring the price down since the car needed work that was not evident in the online description and pictures. They were only willing to paint the front and rear bumpers, not everything that needed paint work, and they would not budge on the price. I explained to her that the whole car needed it paint also the car was over priced 2k dollars base on the Kelly Blue Book value and if I have to bring a mechanic to test battery I will have to pay the mechanic. She once again said she couldn't help me besides painting the bumpers. I asked her to give me a quote to see more in detail how much the car will cost with all fees to my surprise once I got quote there was a fee under (additional products) for a global track GPS for $899, a fee for window tint $250, a fee for contract cancellation $250. I was so disappointed and upset I asked why when we spoke over the phone she did not mention these additional costs, on top of the car cost and dealer fees I was informed of over the phone, but she had no good reason. I asked to speak to her manager or someone above her she said there was nobody else she was the only manager to deal with. She refused to provide any information for anyone else. Not only do I feel like this car is posted in a deceptive way; they aren't even doing their due diligence to make sure they aren't selling a car with working batteries. I reached out to file a complaint with the BBB because I know there are hard working people out there paying all of these fees and may end up getting ripped off. The whole experience was frustrating and left me feeling disturbed they are probably ripping off hard-working people with lemons and hidden fees. More
