WAY OVERPRICED We took our car to Nissan - where we got our lease - to get a price on a repair. The panel underneath the left side of the car that protects the engine had come off. While I know this type of repair is considered not under a warranty, the car was just at the one year mark into our lease - AND this is the fourth car we have leased from them. I thought there would be some sort of customer loyalty consideration, but no. The price quote to fix was $645.00 plus tax. I went to a local mechanic - who has been in business for years, is a AAA approved auto repair and is extremely reputable and they repaired the car for $341.00. HALF of what Nissan was going to charge. They ordered the parts from Nissan and labor was 1/2 an hour. Where they come up with $645.00 is beyond me. My husband spoke to a Nissan rep at consumer affair headquarters about getting a better price as we have leased 4 cars from them, and they did not care. We contacted our sales rep we have used for all our leases - Robert White - to see if he could get a better price and he was going to get back to us and never did. Obviously they are not concerned about losing our business. When my husband told the Nissan rep that we will not be giving them our business anymore all that was said was "sorry to hear that". And Robert White was very attentive when we wanted to lease a car, but not at all attentive at trying to get us a better price. More

Serivce Department Worst I've ever delt with!!!! First and last time I will ever bring my car to this dealership for servicing. My new Altima Coupe was having radio trouble so I went to the service First and last time I will ever bring my car to this dealership for servicing. My new Altima Coupe was having radio trouble so I went to the service department on Monday July 27th and was told they needed to order a part. This would take 2 days to receive and I would get a call. 6 DAYS later I called them to find out the part was in the day before. I schedule my car for service today and was told when making the appt, that if it took longer then 1 hour, I would get a loaner. NO LOANER as they said it would take 1 hour. Funny though, the representative didn't even know what I was bringing my car in for, he asked me instead of checking the account himself. Today, after being there for 2 hours, I approached customer service, to find the gentleman relaxing and eating watermelon, only to be informed m they need to order another part and when I asked why wasn't this done before, I was told NISSAN DOES ONE PART AT A TIME!!! NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD TO GO THROUGH THIS AND I'VE HAD MORE THEN SEVERAL LEASES THROUGHT MY LIFE. STAY AWARY FROM NISSAN 46 IN TOTOWA. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND NEITHER DOES SERVICE. More
