Worst experience ever at a dealer Worst experience I ever had at an auto dealer. Confirmed that they had 3 in stock of model we wanted and that I could come drive it. Salesperson called me back and confirmed appointment, that car was in stock and that I could drive it. Drove 40 minutes on a Friday night, got there and car was not available to drive. Spent 1 1/2 hours trying to get car out of lot or showroom to drive - including driving me to their lot, searching for the car and then finding they couldn't get it out because it was buried behind other cars. Took me back to the dealer to work out deal. Was told they don't give prices but that I would have to make an offer. Manager came out to meet me and gave me guidance that they could meet or beat my current lease payments. I was then asked to make an offer which I was uncomfortable with as every other dealer I've been to starts with giving me a price. Regardless, I decided to make an offer since they had the model I wanted. I offered what my current payment was based on the manager's guidance. Was then told I had to give a credit card, my income, ssn and other personal info to make the offer. I reluctantly provided the information requested. Salesperson went away for 10 minutes, came back and told me they were offended with the offer and that I was so far off that they weren't even going to counter. Felt like I was in the middle of "Deal or no Deal" but that the banker wasn't making an offer. Once again, I reluctantly increased my offer. 10 minutes later, I was told we were still too far apart for them to even consider it or counter. I asked to speak to the manager but he wasn't available (or willing) to talk to me. I asked if I could please at least get a price for which they would lease the vehicle and was told no, that they don't operate that way. I would have to make a close enough offer for them to consider. At that point I left and went and got the car elsewhere with a much more friendly dealer. In total, I spent 2 1/2 hours at Route 46 Nissan on a Friday night and didn't get to drive the car I was told I could and was unable to get a price from them. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau as I believe this represents fraudulent business practices and will make sure to share my experience as widely as I can. More

BUNCH OF CROOKS, STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I Wish I could give it a 0 but it wont allow me. I spent 2 hours at this dealership and turned out to be a complete waste of my very valuable time. I came in to purchase a Cadillac Escalade and as soon as I walked in the door without even seeing the car this guy wanted to sit down and go over financials with me. I told him can I at least see the car first? with an attitude he stated he would get the salesman to show me the car. I told him I had a Cadillac CTS that I wanted to trade in, and he stated that while we were out on the test drive he would have someone evaluate my car, he asked me for my keys and I gave them to him and went on a test drive with the salesman. when we got back, that man again came over to discuss the financials. at this time he jacked the price of the car up over $2000.00. I told him that was not the price on the internet and showed him the listing I printed. He stated I can only get that price if I was military or a college student (WHAT????) I told him it didn't state that on the website, all it said was print the page and bring it with me (which is what I did). after about 30 minutes of him telling me he can NOT give it to me at the price they had it listed on the internet for I then asked him what was they going to give me on the trade in. He then stated that they did not consider the trade in because he didn't know if I wanted to trade it (WHAT????) I told him that is the reason I gave him my car keys because he said someone would evaluate it while we were out on the test drive. I then told him, well yes I want to do a trade in and wanted to know what would be the value, he got up and went into a office and never came back. then the salesmen went in there by him and came back and said "I am so sorry, I don't know what to say" at that point the disrespect and lack of concern and the unprofessionalism was too much for me and I let the salesman know that I was definitely going to buy the truck and I already had the money for it from my credit union and he can thank that manager for helping him loose a slam dunk sale. I expect that from a mom and pop dealer on the side of the highway but never in a million years expected to be done that way from a so-called reparable dealer. The very next day I went to a HONEST dealership and walked out with the Escalade...... I will NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN AND I WILL LET ALL MY FRIENDS KNOW NOT TO GO THERE. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST....... More

I went in with an expectation, however was disappointed I couldn't get my first choice. Nothing on the dealership, it was a finance issue on my part. Not only did Mark Garcia, the car rep, understand my disappointment, he empathized with the fact that this was my first car. So he went above and beyond, and not only did I leave happy, I left with a Nissan 2.5SL, a car that was better than the initial one I wanted. Also to mention, Mark drove on his own time to the city so that my co-signer could fill out the rest of the paperwork! Great job Route 46...shout out to Mark Garcia, a valuable asset. More
