Vehicle was finished on time as promised. I got my free oil change, because they have a free oil change for life policy with the purchase of any new or used car, and honestly it was the first time i brough oil change, because they have a free oil change for life policy with the purchase of any new or used car, and honestly it was the first time i brought a car of mine ANYwhere for service where everything they promised to get fixed, got fixed!!! a week later, it was my birthday, and then I even received a call from the President, Frank Esposito, wishing me a happy birthday! all things considered, it was a great experience. Our experience was a nightmare. We picked out a used 2007 Murano, got approved and made arrangements to pick up the car. The salesman as well as his manager seemed to speak in circles never really addressing Murano, got approved and made arrangements to pick up the car. The salesman as well as his manager seemed to speak in circles never really addressing our questions. I was very apprehensive about going to pick up the car but went anyway. When we got there we were told that the car was $5000 more than the listed price on the internet. Also, the car we were supposed to pick up was sitting on the lot, with balloons attached. It was in no way ready. I asked to see the manager and he seemed equally as dumbfounded. My wife and I walked out and chalked it up to a miserable experience. Its no wonder the dealership was empty. I will also say that the sales manger's response when my wife and i were leaving was "Goodbye". what professionalism! I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy! More
Called in about a used Maxima and was told a price of $17,800. I got there and the car did not have the equipment that they said it did and was priced $3000 higher. The manager came out to talk to me and $17,800. I got there and the car did not have the equipment that they said it did and was priced $3000 higher. The manager came out to talk to me and when I told him the story, he said well do you know how to read? Here, I'll read for you. I got up and left. They still keep calling to get me back in even though I told them not to call me again. DO NOT GO THERE More
I stopped in to buy a used Nissan Pathfinder LE on Columbus Day Weekend. The car I selected was a 2006 model with 22,386 miles. After agreeing on a price, I placed a $5,000 deposit on the car using Columbus Day Weekend. The car I selected was a 2006 model with 22,386 miles. After agreeing on a price, I placed a $5,000 deposit on the car using my credit card. I stopped by next day and was told that they didn't have a chance to print out the CarFax. Since I was going to have the funds on Saturday, they said that they would give me the CarFax then. On Saturday (17 Oct), I stopped by to pick up the CarFax and noticed that the mileage on the car was 14,000 miles less than what was on the odometer. The car was also involved in an accident of which I was not informed. The CarFax was titled Nissan of Bergenfield which has no business relationship with Autoworld 46 Nissan. After pointing out the discrepancy between the odometer, I was told that NJ DMV had made a mistake with the mileage not just once but several times. I was offered several other cars but decided that to look elsewhere. On 24 Oct, I asked for my deposit back. Albert, the "floor manager", told me that they couldn't give me a credit back since the bookkeeping department was closed on Saturday. He promised he would give me the credit back on Monday (26 Oct). Despite repeated phone calls and e-mails, I still have not received my credit back. If it wasn't for the credit card (I'm going to contest the charge), I would be out my money. This is NOT a place I would do business with in the future. More
I felt like I was being kept hostage. They kept lowering the price to try to get me to buy a car that day. It was too heavy handed. Ended up dropping the price for a new Nissan 2009 cube from $19K to $14K the price to try to get me to buy a car that day. It was too heavy handed. Ended up dropping the price for a new Nissan 2009 cube from $19K to $14K plus TradeIn (worth $3K). They would have been losing money (if it was a legitimate deal). I went to another dealership and bought the same car at a comparable deal. Much more trustworthy. Salesman called 6 times in 30 minutes after we left. Stay away from Route 46 Nissan!! Nan More
Well this was quite the horrible experience. My fiance originally had a Saturn SL and wanted a newer car. I was with her on most trips to other dealers and she was supposed to wait for me to get out of wo originally had a Saturn SL and wanted a newer car. I was with her on most trips to other dealers and she was supposed to wait for me to get out of work to go down to this dealership. She had gone down with her father and met with Jimmy. Jimmy was flirting and offering my fiance rides in his Silver 350z. He was talking up a game from what I was told by her and her father. I had taught my fiance to request Carfax reports from any dealership when looking at a used vehicle. Jimmy was repeatedly dodging the request until after an hour later he had come out with a Car Fax report(more on this later). Supposedly both cars were "clean" no accidents. In either case she called me later that day and notified me that both her and her father had purchased two Nissan Altima's(and 03 and 04). She sounded very excited and I on the other hand was not. She had entered into a 60 month finance, 5k down after all was said and done this car would cost her 18k for a middle of the line Altima from 2003.., her father faired no better but with a 10k deposit and would in the end owe 12k.) Roughly 2 months go by and my fiance's car starts having serious issues(suspension was shot, a chip on the transmission was causing all sorts of issues with the car as well). Vehicle had warranty left on it but the dealer stated that these items are not covered by warranty(transmission is part of the power train). She had to pay out $600 for the work to be done on just the transmission as they quoted her suspension to be over $1600.00. She was then experiencing issues with the check engine light and time after time going into the service bay paying money that she doesn't have on a car that was supposedly in mint condition. After an additional 3 months(total ownership of car was 5 months) she decided she would sell the car or trade it in for something cheaper and more reliable. We had went up to Royal Pontiac in Sussex County and they would not offer more than 3k for the car as it had been in 3 airbag deployed accidents. They provided the Carfax, and pointed out where the vehicle had new paint etc done. My fiance was furious, so we had gone down to the Nissan dealer on 46 together and brought this to their attention. The salesmen Jimmy asked what the problem was and when it was explained he quickly vanished. After 20 minutes I went into the Manager area and demanded to speak to someone, shortly afterwards Orlando appeared and hell had broken loose. I explained the situation to him and he pulled up her records and showed me the Car Fax report, which wasn't a CarFax report. It had been doctored and the VIN# was off by 1 number at the end. He then stated that buyer beware and asked us to leave as it was her failing and that he would not help her. I then stated I would notify all the people in the showroom of his statement and the shadyness of the deal. Orlando then got up in my face with a finger pointed at me stating he would have the police come down, jail me and my fiance for even whispering a word of that. I notified Orlando that he would have bigger issues to worry about until the police arrived. So after verbally abusing one another for over 20 minutes I then asked him for Nissan USA corporate number, he stated he is corporate and they can't do a thing. We had left the dealership at that point. On a whim upon arriving at home I paid for a carfax on her father's Atlima and sure enough the vehicle was in an accident on the passenger side. I contacted Nissan USA on their behalf notified them of how we were treated and the extend of the deal with Nissan 46 and they could not do anything as it is a "franchise" dealership, they could investigate but nothing more. I then contacted Nissan 46 and threatened them with legal action and notified them I had the documentation and voice recordings of Orlando stating the horrible business practices he performed. We were invited back to the dealership to "work it out". Orlando's Idea of working it out was buying the white Altima back for 10k(14k owed on it), then his other idea was taking it back at a loss and giving us a lease on a Mitsubishi Galant for 72 months(its also a Mitsu dealership). I scoffed and tried to put it into perspective with his wife being the one who got ripped off. He said his wife wouldn't be ripped off because she's at least smart enough to check the VIN. Another verbal altercation erupted and we had left again. I shopped her car around and a dealer took the vehicle as trade for 12k and rolled 2k onto another car which worked out much better. That whole entire dealership is crooked much like everyone else had stated. They do not care about repeat business and would rather make a quick sale screwing over their customer base because they are a HUB dealership for several towns. The door keeps revolving. More
Worst customer service anyone can even imagine. Worst customer service anyone can even imagine. Following are the very common traits of this dealership. 1. They lie. 2. They will speak rude. 3 Worst customer service anyone can even imagine. Following are the very common traits of this dealership. 1. They lie. 2. They will speak rude. 3. No body will care about you, even if you plead for service. 4. We have a raised a complaint to the VP of the dealership. Even he is no good. If you ever have a relationship with this dealer cut it now. There many good dealers and service centres out there which offers far better service than this one. And if you came to this site to rate this dealer the worst, (Im 100% sure no one on earth will rate them better than worst) you are not alone. Every single person will have nightmare entering the store. More

So here it goes. I went to this place to help my mother with getting a new car. Despite their retarded commercials. The sales guy we met with was Maurice. He was SUCH a nice kid. He was genuinly nice, not with getting a new car. Despite their retarded commercials. The sales guy we met with was Maurice. He was SUCH a nice kid. He was genuinly nice, not fake salesman nice. He showed us a new (09) altima 2 door. My mother loved it. I am an insane haggler and know how to play salesman. I coached her before we went in to no matter how she felt, everything was "Ehh. Its alright I guess". Maurice did his job and sold us on the car. We went in to negotiate a price. The list was 22,380$. We sat at Maurices desk, which happened to be right next to the window and had no shade. It was hotter than balls after basketball and we were dying! Maurice asked what we wanted to pay and I told him 20,000$ out the door. This is what I found the average price to be on the internet. He said he would check. He went into the back to play the game and came in about 5 minutes. He said the manager said that seemed like a good number and wanted to know how I arrived at that amount. He also asked for a credit card to show I was serious. I told him, "I am telling you I am serious. Tell him that, and if thats not enough, we can leave" I also pointed to my Fiancee sitting next to my mother and told Maurice that if he could do that price I will take another at the same price for her. I was ready to write a check for that one on the spot. He said he would be right back. He again went to the manager and now I see him comming out following a short, white guy with buzz-cut grey hair and squinty eyes. This guy was walking with an "Ill show you how its done kid" attitude. I will call him BOB. Bob sat at Maurices desk and maurice pulled up a chair and looked miserable. Bob said he was going to put together a "Menu" for my mother. He also refused to address me as the one making the deal. He wrote some numbers and then promptly covered them with a calculator. I asked what base price he was using in his estimates and he told me he would let me know when he was done. I already knew we would be walking out but since Bob was an A$$hole and his time was money I wasted as much of it as I could and let him continue. Now my mother has a credit score of 800 and planned on putting about 6k down. Bob claimed the vehicle cost the dealer 20k and that it was not possible. I explained to Bob that I am not a moron and know the dealer operates on consignment, not paying a dime for the cars they sell until after they are sold. He just laughed. My mothers main concern was keeping her monthly payment below 250. He tried several options to "help" my mother, none of which involved moving off his price of 21380. Thats right folks he came down a massive 1000. We let him show us a crappy Subaru and then I told Maurice in front of Bob guy that Bob cost him a sale. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE SHYSTERS. THIER COMMERCIALS SUCK AND SO DO THEY. I HOPE MAURICE QUITES AND FINDS A REAL DEALERSHIP TO WORK FOR!!!!! RT.46 AUTO MALL-BITE MY A$$. I WOULD LOVE TO KICK YOUR FINANCE MANAGER Bob IN THE MOUTH!!! By the way, dont bother writing their complants email. It place you on a list that shotguns sales emails to you. I just wrote a nice FU to the internet sales guy who asked me if I enjoyed my experience and if there was anything he could do. It they read my email they would have answers to both of those questions!!! More
These guys were your stereotypical fast talking shady used car salesmen. We negotiated a reasoable price for a car and were told we needed to sing all our paperwork and take the car off the lot that day used car salesmen. We negotiated a reasoable price for a car and were told we needed to sing all our paperwork and take the car off the lot that day because it was the end of the month and there was an additional fee attached to keeping the car on the lot for the start of a new month. After waiting in the dealership for hours to have the car detailed (with our two month ld daughter with us) we finally go thte car--and they detailed the front seats ONLY! The backseats were filled with crumbs and dirt. Our sales rep told us that they would detail teh car for us on Monday when we returned to get a small dent removed from the fender. We got the car checked out by our mechanic over the weekend (as per the agrement we signed with the dealership) and he told us that three of the four tires had dry rot. When we informed the dealer they told us that they would not change the tires unless the car failed state inspection. (Only worn tread son a tire would cause it to fail state inspection, not dry rot.) They had the car from 10:30 until 6 that day; they fixed the dent and the brakes but refused to give us new tires. AND they still didn't detail the car! My wife returned to the dealershp the next day and talked to the service manager about the tires. He repeated that he would not give us new tires unless the car failed inspection, then he said that he would not allow his family or loved ones to drive around in a car with dry rotted tires. I took my complaint directly to Nissan USA (www.nissausa.com) and I suggest everyone else do the same. More
