They advertised a price of 15,995 of Brand New Nissan Altima 2.5 S on their site and when I go there, they no longer offer the price for me And they keep counter asking me how would you expect to give f Altima 2.5 S on their site and when I go there, they no longer offer the price for me And they keep counter asking me how would you expect to give for the price of 15,995 and it is common sense. If it is common sense then why the hell they advertised the price on their site. These dealers are playing cheap tricks on customers and I would not recommend to go to this Nissan Dealer any more. and I will not suggest any one to go there. The sales persons are not customer friendly. The manager of Rt 46 Automall, Richie is trying to throw out as we are begging. You guys begged to come to store. I have asked full detailed Invoice before going to store. They refused to do so. The sales person is asking "If I send an Invoice would you come to store". I hate to ask that question to customers. And What type of question is that? That means you guys are not confident on your vehicles and prices. The sales person is talking like when we will leave the store. I hate this dealer and I will no longer recommend this store to anyone. GUYS STOP PLAYING CHEAP TRICKS ON CUSTOMERS. IF YOU HAVE REAL JUICE ON YOUR PRODUCTS YOU CAN LEAD THE MARKET AND STOPS THESE TYPE OF CHEAP TRICKS. I will never go to this Dealer Again. Try to be customer friendly. More
As a young college student and a girl, I can understand it may look like I would have done no research on the car I intended to buy, however unfortunately for my dealer at route 46 I had a few numbers thro it may look like I would have done no research on the car I intended to buy, however unfortunately for my dealer at route 46 I had a few numbers thrown at me previously and was hoping for an even better deal. The number he quoted me was insultingly high, so high in fact that luxury cars would have been more affordable to lease. After telling him so, he brought over the manager, who quoted me progressively lower prices until we reached one I was comfortable with. When I came back the next day naturally the price was gone and had risen significantly and I was made to believe I had somehow misconstrued our old conversation. Insulting and a huge waste of time, for the "biggest nissan dealer in New Jersey" I sure wonder how they stay this way. More
I want to thank you for taking the time to get all the information I need to make an informed decision about buying a car. I have spoken to one or two other car dealers in the last month and they have all information I need to make an informed decision about buying a car. I have spoken to one or two other car dealers in the last month and they have all left me with the same impression - that I can't trust a used car salesperson. The fact that you are taking the time to get information from me, giving me the answers I need and exploring financing before I have even visited your showroom or selected a car shows me that you are someone I want to do business with. Once we have financing worked out and are able to start looking for the right car, I will definitely make my purchase with you. Thanks for everything!!! More
We had a great experience at this dealership today. This is the third car we have leased from this dealership and we have always been very happy. The sales people are friendly, but not pushy. They are so knowledgeable about all the different cars and features and go out of their way to make you comfortable with your purchase. Rich, the sales manager, was also excellent to work with. He was friendly and fair in his negotiations. Great experience overall. More
I WOULD RATHER RIDE A BURRO THAN BUY A CAR FROM THIS I WOULD RATHER RIDE A BURRO THAN BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I wish I had found this site before I wasted my time with this unscrupulous I WOULD RATHER RIDE A BURRO THAN BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I wish I had found this site before I wasted my time with this unscrupulous dealership. The negative things said are ALL TRUE. I am not a kid - 60+. I have bought many cars over the years and hands down, this is by far THE ABSOLUTE WORST DELAERSHIP I have ever had the misfortune to come in contact with. STAY AWAY from Route 46 Automall Nissan...unless you enjoy being deceived and bullied. Having reviewed their listings on their site, I called about a specific listing. I was put in contact with Charlie Mecca. He "seemed" straightforward and decent on the phone and after discussing the vehicle (a new Nissan Altima Coupe)and price, he asked if he could consult with a Sales Mgr so he could give me the best price possible. I said "Of course" and was put on hold. A few minutes later he comes back on and gives me a price. It was a good one, so I asked if he'd be in that evening and that I would come in to see him. He told me he would be and we ended the conversation with "See you later". Early that evening I drove 35 minutes to this lovely dealership. I arrived and asked for Charlie Mecca. I was told Charlie was upstairs. I was then asked what I wanted to see him about. When I told the salesperson the details, he started to punch the info into a computer and lo & behold, the price quoted was NOT the price I could buy the car for. It would be $2000. additional. I again asked to speak to Charlie and clearly stated that wasn't what he told me. I was asked to wait. I'm not at all happy by the turn of events and the delay tactics. I asked repeatedly when I would get to see Charlie and was getting quite upset. Then I was told that Charlie really doesn't see customers, he's just a phone guy. So, I couldn't even get the oportunity to confront the person who gave me the price and ask point blank if he did or did not give me the price as I have stated. By this point, I doubt I would have bought the car from them if they agreed to sell it to me at the price quoted. I was brought in under false pretences and was getting the runaround. So, I began getting a bit loud...intentionally. I asked pointblank if they were going to honor the price quoted. Of course, I was told NO. That in order to get that price I would have had to have purchased another car from them. I said that was NEVER stated when I spoke to Charlie and when he quoted me the price. Basically, no response except I was asked if I had it in writing from Charlie. So, I got a bit louder and called them liars. Soon, a Sales Manager came over - I wish I had gotten his name. For a split second I thought maybe there could be an intelligent discussion, but I was being delusional. He told me that Charlie's job was to get people in to the dealership. That's all. He didn't sell cars. Fine, but he clearly lied to me. I was then told "Charlie didn't lie, he merely withheld information." WHAT???????????? Isn't that being deceptive, i.e. lying? This is a Sales Manager telling me this. This is Standard Operating Procedure at this dealership, not an abberation or isolated misunderstanding. It is their philosphy. Integrity and honesty be damned! Say and do whatever to get people into the showroom and then reneg on the prices quoted. At that point, I wouldn't have taken a car from them for free and I lost it and got really loud and was telling other prospective customers to leave because they (Route 46 Nissan) were liars. Some big goon who worked there came over and tried to intimidate me. That wasn't happening. Then they asked me to leave before they called the police. I handed him my phone and said "Call - this will look great on the news and in the papers." No call was made and I left of my own accord, went home and took 6 showers to get the sleaze off of me. Yes, Route 46 Nissan - they make sure know how to make buying NOT fun and Sleazy. The absolute worst dealership. Cut your legs off before walking into it. More
I called this dealer for a price quote on a 2011 Titan SV, and was told $25,900 (during National Tent Event). Because of that, I left work early the next day and drove an hour to the dealer. After being SV, and was told $25,900 (during National Tent Event). Because of that, I left work early the next day and drove an hour to the dealer. After being taken to an off site inventory lot to find a truck that wasnt there, we returned and I was told they could not give me that price. Instead, they said a base Titan S would be $27K, and would cost more for each package added, coming to about $36K for the truck. Also, despite claiming they will pay the amount for trade ins (as listed on Black Book), they offered me $1000-$1500 for a trade-in valued at $2400-$3800. Needless to say, a deal was not made. They clearly misinformed me in 2 different ways, and wasted my time. BTW, I purchased the truck for $28K elsewhere. No hassles. More
This is the absolute worst auto dealership I have ever seen. The sales people are extremely unprofessional & disturbingly aggressive. From the minute you drive in to the second you leave you feel overwhe seen. The sales people are extremely unprofessional & disturbingly aggressive. From the minute you drive in to the second you leave you feel overwhelmingly uncomfortable with the environment which emits the impression as if they'd steal a dollar off a homeless person if it meant a personal gain. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS & THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR OWN CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE MISLEADING "DEAL" THEY CLAIM YOU'RE GETTING. JUST AS SOON AS THEY FEEL THEY CAN MAKE ANOTHER DOLLAR, THEY'LL BACK OUT OF THEIR SIGNED AGREEMENT AND SELL YOUR CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE, DESPITE LEGALITIES. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, YOU WILL REGRET IT, TRUST ME! I had an authorized contract from a representative of this dealership & placed a deposit on a car the day before picking it up to ensure that they'd hold the car for me as the sales staff confidently formentioned. However, upon arrival, I noticed significant issues that were omitted thru creative online photos and were told that I had to hurry up because others were trying to sell/buy the car. How is this possible when I made a deposit and have a signed agreement from the dealership from a day ago? Everything seemed really shady. From the get go, I was rushed to make a decision before fully inspecting the car. When I pointed out the concerns I had that were not brought to my attention earlier, their response was in so many words, we don't care. After careful consideration of all factors, I proceeded to finalize the purchase despite my better judgment as I drove 300 miles to get this car. However, as soon as my salesperson had the office personal process my full deposit, the brain surgeon sales manager decided to breach their contract & claim that the car was unavailable as he had a higher bidder. I attempted relentlessly to debate the fact that they had authorized a legally binding document and however much additional amount they were to make above the reasonable amount they were going to make on me, that unfortunately they had to withstand their prior obligation to sell the car to me at the agreed upon price. This rationale didn't seem to make sense to the GM of Sales as he continued to reject the deal after approving & accepting it the day before. I couldn't believe he acted in that irresponsible fashion in front of so many of his up looking peers but he proceeded to be irrational about the whole deal despite all of my efforts to convince him to simply abide by his original agreement that enticed me to drive there to begin with. This is the worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. You should feel good about investing this amount of money anywhere you go and even though I didn't get the car, I have been scared from this transaction. This operation in my opinion is 100% unethical and is incompliant with state regulations in that respect. It's important that everyone who is considering a vehicle from this dealer step away. There's no reason anyone should be treated this way. Completely disrespectful and disgraceful to all the dealerships that are out there doing it the right way. To top it off, these guys went as far to contact the police to ensure that we left their premises promptly. What kind of a sleazy style company goes to that extreme over a car deal? I spoke to the officers, while I was on the phone with my bank to make sure they didn't take my money and then try to have me leave, who went on to mention they've been there several times. Why? Are they seriously making that many bad deals? They need to be closed down and have their business license revoked. What a horrible name they've made for New Jersey. I'll never visit nor buy anything from that state ever again. The officer by the way suggested that I pursue this in a civil nature and notify the appropriate personal to enforce fair business practice upon these stellar individuals. I hope this is read before anyone suffers the misfortune of purchasing a vehicle at Route 46 Nissan in Totowa, NJ. More

I have been with Nissan since 2007. This dealership has been nothing but GREAT to me. They are extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient. My last visit consisted of terminating my lease for my 2008 Altim been nothing but GREAT to me. They are extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient. My last visit consisted of terminating my lease for my 2008 Altima and getting into a new lease. I was pressed for time because of the inconsistency of my work schedule. As soon as I walked in, I spoke to Wagner, who has been phenomenal thus far, knew of my financial hardships I was going through. I just finished school, so things are rough. I sat down literally for 10 minutes and was able to get into a 2011 Altima without any hassle. It was at the exact price range I was looking for. Plus, it was a Special edition model. I was and extremely satisfied with the car to say the least. The customer service that was given to me was definitely exceptional and would highly recommend Wagner as not only a salesman to purchase your new vehicle, but the dealership period for their outstanding services. HORRIBLE!!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. First, my sister went in there to lease an '11 Maxima. She worked with Brett, absolutely uninformative, no help whatsoever. He had papers ready to sign, and we haven't eve in there to lease an '11 Maxima. She worked with Brett, absolutely uninformative, no help whatsoever. He had papers ready to sign, and we haven't even looked at the car, just spoke on the phone. He started bragging that he sells a certain number of cars, etc. She left. She got her Maxima at Route 23 Nissan/Ford, great experience, no hassle. I decided I wanted one as well. I went in on Wednesday, the 1st of June. Not sure the salesman I spoke to, but he didn't like me right away. I mentioned to him that I am looking at a Maxima with Sport plus Tech. He asked me lease or finance, and I mentioned that I wanted to speak about the price first, clearly he already assumed I didn't know what I was talking about, being 22 and fresh out of college. He went in, and get the 'big' dog as I see he has been called on this site, Richie. Same thing, he mentions money factor, thinking I don't know what I'm talking about. My credit is bad, but I have my sister to cosign, and she wasn't with me at the moment. He mentioned how I don't qualify for a lease, only finance. I told him, I can get qualified, I want to see what numbers you can give me. Anyway, he wouldn't, so we say our goodbyes. I heard him utter some expletives, like 'Get the eff outta here.' I wasn't going to waste my time. I went ahead and went to the Nissan on Route 23 with my sister yesterday, June 2nd. I was definitely aggressive seeing as the experience I have had so far, but the guy was nice. Found the car I want, but I told him I'll think about it. I figured, were on our way back, let's stop again on 46 and see, since my sister is with me. Not sure what the guys name is, that helped me. Spanish guy, as soon as you walk into the 2nd door, his desk is on the left. We see Brett right away, he assumes were here for my sister, so he gets excited. My sister informs him to look at her Maxima outside, he looks aggravated and mentions that he sells more cars than anyone else. That wasn't the problem. I sit down with the 'salesman' and we speak. I mention I was there last night, etc etc. He asks some questions, I mention they had a deal for the SV Sport for $249. He says that it is for the base S. I told him, the base S was online for $179. He switches his story to the, ' you don't qualify for the $249.' Which is fine, I understand my credit is horrible, but to tell me that I can get it for $400, that is $150 more a month, that's ASTRONOMICAL interest difference, or Money factor, etc. UNHEARD OF. I'm not an idiot, so I mention that, and he doesn't seem to know what to say. He asks for my birthday, and mentions, 'Oh that's why you are like this, your sign is virgo.' I say to him, "You actually believe in that stuff?" He didn't like the comment. He gets aggravated, says, 'so I see you have done your homework, smart guy.' I got a quote from route 23, $350 a month for Sport with Tech, with 3K down. He says, 'what's wrong with that, you can't afford that?' Mind you, I don't take too kind to people questioning me like that. If I'm at your dealer, it means I can afford this. Not to mention, I'm an Accountant, straight out of college, with passing the CPA and in pursuance of an MBA next year. That comment rubbed me the wrong way. So now I start to really get 'smart' with him. Eventually he says 'LEAVE.' I told him, 'Hey man, it's not my fault, I'm much younger than you, and already making more money than you.' Normally, I don't stoop to low levels, but once he questions my ability to pay for the car, just had enough. I would speak to a manager, but I believe they are all like this. Complete and utterly unprofessional. Save your time, you will not get a good deal. Anyone who says they did, doesn't know numbers. I can't fathom how anyone had a good experience there. DO NOT GO TO!!!!! I am still extremely aggravated at the way they go about 'customer service.' Even though, it might not mean anything, I'm looking for ways to complain. More
