I have never felt the need to write anything bad for anyone but this must be said about this dealership. THE WORST DEALER IN THE WORLD. I beg you people to never buy from them. From the time we initi anyone but this must be said about this dealership. THE WORST DEALER IN THE WORLD. I beg you people to never buy from them. From the time we initially leased our Maxima to couple months later after we returned it, we are still fighting with them and even though we paid all our dues, they still do not leave us alone and harass us to go to the dealership and bring them all kinds of proofs that we had paid. The General Sales Manager (mike) (sits behind the desk in the office.) is an absolute CROOK who has no idea what customer service means. He is demeaning, rude and unreasonable. He should be fired unless his unethical behavior is actually awarded at that dealership. ! This dealership is horrible customer service, stay away !!! also worked on this deal with Lloyd he was a fine sales man no complaints against him More
I went to the Route 46 Nissan a couple weeks ago... looking to turn in my lease and get into a used Pick up truck. I met with a sales consultant Adrian. Usually I expect high pressure sales tactics a looking to turn in my lease and get into a used Pick up truck. I met with a sales consultant Adrian. Usually I expect high pressure sales tactics and jerks to assist me at a dealership, but Adrian was pretty cool. He was patient took the time to show me whatever trucks I wanted. Even though it was raining that day, He still took the time to walk outside while I waited in the dry dealership. I saw a couple of trucks that I was interested in, but I wasnt ready to make a purchase that day. The Salesman didnt pressure me. He introduced me to his manager. I think his name was Jesse. Jesse asked me about what type of truck I was looking for and he took a couple of notes down. I left feeling like I accomplished what I wanted. Adrian called me a few days later, they had gotten a 2007 Frontier in that was perfect! I came in a ended my lease that afternoon. Drove home in my new truck. I guess despite what this site indicates there can be some good found at Route 46 Nissan, you just need to deal with the right people. Adrian was great. More
I called the service rep for two days and left messages for him to call me and he never called back. When I came in to pick up my car he gave me such a bad time. Said he knew I was going to be a problem cu for him to call me and he never called back. When I came in to pick up my car he gave me such a bad time. Said he knew I was going to be a problem customer and was so rude. Customer service is not the job he should be in, they should never let him talk to customers again. The only person who was nice was the girl who takes payment for the service department, she was so nice and friendly.Try to find a manager to talk to, they are never around or to busy to talk to you after the sale. Stay away! More
Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!!! I thought I was getting a good deal on a used car, till I realize (after I signed) it wasn't. That was my fault for not reading more closely. Moving on. Eddie seemed nice a good deal on a used car, till I realize (after I signed) it wasn't. That was my fault for not reading more closely. Moving on. Eddie seemed nice, but extremely pushy, not a great quality. After I took ownership of my pre owned car, I found out there was after market parts installed, that wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't purchased their "quality guard" protection plan which doesn't cover non OEM parts. Nice right? I've called several times to cancel it, but never heard back. It's complete bull**** that these people get away with this. My next issue is my registration. My sales rep called me and said my registration was ready, so I went down only to find out that it wasn't there, mind your it's a 30 minute trip. When I asked the girl where it was, she called the Chrysler dealership and they had it, but said I owed $3,000. WHAT?!?!?! I said I owe noting and demanded to speak with a manager. After speaking with Jesse, he said it was a clerical error and he would take care of it. I told him to mail me the registration cause I wasn't about to waste my time going there again. My temp tag expires on the 5th and I still don't have my registration. I called numerous times and left several voicemails. I guess it's some big joke to these people, well I'm not laughing. I will be filing a complaint with Better Business Burro and I advise everyone else who had a negative experience to do the same. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CON ARTISTS!!! Go to another dealership and save yourself time, hassle and most of all MONEY. Tell all your friends in the market for a car to avoid them too. More
Was looking to purchase a Nissan Cube; received a very good quote via email from Kalvin Moncayo, Internet Sales Consultant, who said they had 'lots' of Cubes in stock (he claimed this was the reason he wa good quote via email from Kalvin Moncayo, Internet Sales Consultant, who said they had 'lots' of Cubes in stock (he claimed this was the reason he was able to offer such a great price). Took Kalvin's quote & a loan guarantee note from Bank of America to the dealership to look at Cubes on the lot - there were none. Talked to a sales rep at the dealership, he said they could get us a Cube (although they wanted us to take a different car initially, "to make room in the inventory to transfer the Cube"), asked for details on color, options, etc. Didn't really like the direction the conversation was taking, but we had a good quote, so we kept talking. The Rep took the internet quote to the sales manager, then came back & tried to tell us that the quote included incentives like owner loyalty, recent college grad, etc., and since we didn't qualify for them that the price would be $3000 higher. They refused to budge & honor the internet quote, so we walked out. Never had a dealership not honor the internet quote before, not to mention being lied to about what they had on the lot. Will never go back to this dealership. More
Service department is horrible. Takes 3 hours to do an oil change. Last time the car was dropped off for oil change they gave the car back with a huge scratch the lenght of the back quarter panel without oil change. Last time the car was dropped off for oil change they gave the car back with a huge scratch the lenght of the back quarter panel without saying anything. Fortunately I noticed as soon as I got home and went back. Returning a lease also a hassle. Left mutliple voice mails to multiple people and never heard back. Had to go to the dealer in person to schedule an appointment. Love Nissan cars, I owned 6 different models over the years, but will never purchase a car at this dealership. More

My wife and I found the used vehicle that we wanted (2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited) on Auto Trader, it was located at Route 46 Nissan. After three phone conversations about the vehicle we decided to make Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited) on Auto Trader, it was located at Route 46 Nissan. After three phone conversations about the vehicle we decided to make the three and a half hour drive to look at it. The internet salesman we talked to (Greg Rusignuolo) did not know if it was a six or eight cylinder, he did not know if it was a trade or auction purchase and he quoted us the wrong mileage. We were transfered to Jamaal Allah for our salesman. We had spoken to him on the phone ten minutes from arriving. He had told us he would meet us at the door. After standing just inside the door for more that fifteen minutes someone finally asked what we were there for. As Jamaal came to meet us we realized he had walked past us three times and totaly ignored us. Jamaal was not very knowledgable and was more concerned about braging about his sales experience and the fact that Route 46 was the largest dealer in the state of NJ. The vehicle turned out to be exactly what we wanted so we continued with the purchase process. This vehicle was only two years old and was the top of the line model. Things such as Jeep carpeted floor mats, owners manual, cargo area privacy cover, cargo net, valet key and second key fob with valet key were missing. I pointed all of these out to Jamaal. He talked in circles assuring me that he would take care of it all. As the deal progressed he started leaving things out. He eventually said that "those cars only come with one key". He pulled thin rubber floor mats from another odd vehicle. It was only until later that I relized they were'nt even from a Jeep. Through the paper work process there is a "we owe you" paper that lists everything we need with the vehicle. Jamaal wrote the owners manual and privacy cover on it. He refused to include the second key fob because he said he would check the safe the next day to get one for us and that it didnt need to be on paper. He said that the cargo net would be included too and didnt need to be on paper. We purchased the vehicle with a pre approved check from my credit union. Two weeks after the purchase we received a letter from the credit union stating that the financed amount was to high for that vehicle. After a phone call I discoverd that Route 46 did not follow through with the qualification of the financing. I was able to take care of it but it should have been done by their finance department. During the paper work process we were given the remainder of the factory warranty. After the fact we checked all of the papers we were given and it was not included nor have we been contacted by Jeep with acknowledgement of the warranty transfer. It has been five weeks since our terrible experience with Route 46 and it is not over yet. We received a privacy cover through UPS but it is for a 2012 which is a different body style so it doesnt fit. They expect me to send it back but I refuse to pay for the shipping. We have not received the owners manual or the key fob. I finally asked to speak with a manager and was transfered to Skyler Miller. He knows how to talk but no further action has been made. Through the process we unknowingly signed a paper they slid into the stack. It is an "Agreement To Arbitrate Disputes" so our hands are tied. Do Not give these cons the benefit of doubt. They are terrible to deal with. They lie and I will never deal with them again. Run The Other Direction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A FEMALE! THEY HAVE A BBB RATING OF F! They are scammers and liars. I was warned, but since this place is near where I live I foolishly dec YOU ARE A FEMALE! THEY HAVE A BBB RATING OF F! They are scammers and liars. I was warned, but since this place is near where I live I foolishly decided to go. I must admit, things were going fine with my salesperson Lloyd who was extremely helpful. He walked the lot with me and was trying to help me find the car I was looking for. He works on commission, I get it. It wasn't till the manager Schuyler stepped in that things got ugly. The car I wanted was not on the lot. To try and get me to buy something they had in stock, they were going to offer me a "good deal" on a more expensive car that they had an abundance of in stock. The deal was unacceptable....they wanted me to leave $8000 down on a LEASE with monthly payments of over $400 a month. I was like, "are you serious? This is a lease you're talking about, not a finance option?" He was serious. this isnt a porche we're talking about....its a nissan rogue. He then proceeded to run me in circles with numbers and B.S. until I just completely shut down. They would not let me leave. I'm convinced that they would have thrown their bodies in front of the door to block me from leaving if they could. I was coerced into leaving a $500 "hold" which I was promised was refundable. I used my Amex, knowing that I could dispute the charge if necessary. When I called the next day to have the hold taken off my card, I was given the run around once again. They got the manager Rich on the phone (who was extremely patronizing i might add) and he told me i needed to come in in person to get my account refunded. I told him that i know they dont need me there in person, he grumbled a bit and then agreed to take care of it. 2 weeks later, the charge is still there and i officially opened a dispute with Amex today. I tried calling this morning and was given the old run around once again. They passed me to Schuylers voice mail....im sure leaving him a message wont solve a thing. I ended up buying a car from another dealer. It was what I wanted and I'm happy with my purchase. I will be putting a call into Nissan corporate today about the shady dealings going on at Nissan 46. My advice, STAY AWAY! More
