Prior to driving approximately 40 miles to Nissan 46, I spoke with a representative Michael Jimenez who answered my questions and was very friendly. He indicated the vehicle in question was available, and spoke with a representative Michael Jimenez who answered my questions and was very friendly. He indicated the vehicle in question was available, and eased my mind regarding my credit worthiness. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a Nick Giacomaro, who was informative and up front with me. He could not have been more friendly and/or helpful. He was willing to spend the time obtaining financing, etc. to get me the vehicle I wanted. He asked if I was willing to look at a vehicle with a little more mileage, which would have made financing easier, as well as the monthly payment. He wanted to make sure I was aware of available options with other vehicles they had in inventory, perhaps more suited to my situation. I am very pleased and grateful for the service Nick provided. I'm glad I drove the 40 miles. More
3 salesmen called me on the phone after, I only called once and got the info i needed, was satisfied and was on the way(1 hr drive). Wagner called me and told me paperwork was ready and car was ready.... once and got the info i needed, was satisfied and was on the way(1 hr drive). Wagner called me and told me paperwork was ready and car was ready.....?!?! i didnt even get there and i stated that it was up to my wife to see the car if she liked it. We got there and the car was "missing". It was down in another lot, i had to drive my truck down there to look at it. I was told to drive it up and we can get plates to test drive it. After 2 calls on my cell from my salesman(wagner) asking if i was gonna drive it up, i was asked for info for the papers. I had to ask for a plate to test drive. He asked me what my monthly payment is gonna be. I told him for the price it should be xxx he was not clear with an answer with many ums and taxes and addes fees for stuff.. When i got back from the test drive i was told it was sold, and i left very angry....The place resembles a junkyard or a party, cars everywhere and salesman walking aimlessly infront of traffic, if you want to take a test drive and not be bothered....go for it, they didnt even copy my DL. This dealer was awesome if you wanna look at overpriced nissan gtrs and if you dont do online research youd screwed.....but if you did like i did i was also screwed.....they sold it! haha More
After reading all the reviews, I'm so glad I decided NOT to purchase a pre-owned vehicle from Route 46 Nissan. #1 The Ad's are totally mis leading, on the internet they state a price. Once at the dealersh to purchase a pre-owned vehicle from Route 46 Nissan. #1 The Ad's are totally mis leading, on the internet they state a price. Once at the dealership, they pull up an internal Ad that states you must have previously purchased a car from "them" to get a 1000 rebate and be a current college grad for another 1000 off the car, which would have brought us to the internet pricing. No where on this Ad does it mention any of this in order to purchase the vehicle. Not to mention, I've never heard of a "rebates" of these, on "used cars". smh #2 When we went to see the vehicle at 10am, Nick said the vehicle was not ready for view and it would be ready at 4pm. Never heard back from Nick after 4 so I called and left a message to call me back. When he called back, he didn't even remember who he was speaking with, I reminded him about the viewing the car at 4, and his response is I'll call you right back to see if the car is ready. Let just say he never called back so i just showed up there. When i arrived the car was still not ready because Nick said the mechanic broke a bolt on the car and it is un-drivable until they replace the part. Once again, after reading of other owners having problems of their own cars not starting, I could only imagine how many problems i would have run into with a car that mechanic can't service correctly for resale. I went to Route 46 to purchase a Nissan. Nick was really helpful and we negotiated on a great deal. If you go to Route 46 to purchase or you are just looking for a new car, ask for Nick; great dealer at Ni helpful and we negotiated on a great deal. I'm writing with the hope that it will help other people avoid this dealership. I purchased many cars over the years and never felt the need to do this before. Where to begin? When I arrived I was the avoid this dealership. I purchased many cars over the years and never felt the need to do this before. Where to begin? When I arrived I was the only customer in the showroom. I could see all the salespeople having a conference in one of the offices so I waited. Once the meeting broke I expected to have salespeople competing to assist a potential customer, instead they all walked past me as if the place was empty. I had to work a bit to attract someone's attention. I really should have left at this point and regret not doing so. I told him which used car I was interested in and the "fun" part began. The advertised price, I was told, was contingent on two things: customer loyalty and recent college graduation. He showed me a web page were this information was printed at the very bottom. I used UsedCars.com to find the car. I went back later (as of this writing the car in question was still there) and there was no such information, but there was a statement so general it could basically absolve them from any misleading statement. The manager came over. He so wanted to help. Have I ever been there for even an oil change? That would allow me to take the customer loyalty credit. We determined that owning a Kia would do it . My family does own one so he gave me the $1000 and left. Minutes later my sales guy came back and explained all the work that had been done to prep the car. What wasn't clear at the time and what his manager sent him to explain was that I would have to pay for this work - so the $1000 was re-added to the cost. Such a transparent tactic. I also asked the manager point blank "Are there any additional fees I need to consider?" He said none. Later, while signing papers I found out there was a $900+ used car fee (I think they called it something official, like a tax) that was supposed to cover the prep work I had already been charged for with the $1000. Was ALL of this work really done? What would be your guess? There were about half a dozen other little things I thought were sneaky and deceptive, but I'm running out of space. Bottom line: I did my research beforehand and knew what the car was worth. I didn't get the super deal I naively expected (really should have known better), but I finally paid what I think is a reasonable price. All the sleazy tactics were not necessary but it seems to be the only way they know how to act. I really wish I didn't have to buy the car from them but I needed a car and was pretty tired of running around. I will never patronize this dealership again and will post this on multiple sites hoping to steer people away from it. Credit manager said he didn't know why people thought car salesmen were snakes. As my daughter says: Really? Probably because of guys like you. More
Do not buy a car from here, especially used. I saw a vehicle online and went in to the dealership and they immediately raised the price $2000 from the online price, saying that the price shown was only vehicle online and went in to the dealership and they immediately raised the price $2000 from the online price, saying that the price shown was only if you were eligible for 2 separate discounts (that almost nobody could possibly qualify for). The salesman said it explains this on the website, but he was lying, it is nowhere to be found. I looked at the car anyway, and even though the advertisement said the car was in excellent condition with no scratches or dents, this was a lie too. The interior was in below average to poor condition, and there were several scratches on the car. I put in an offer on the car that considered the price I wanted to pay minus what it would cost me to get it fixed and looking right, the salesmen left to go talk to his manager, I waited 20 minutes, and the salesman was nowhere to be found! This dealer is the example of every bad thing you ever heard about any car dealer. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! More
My wife visited their website and found a deal on a Honda Civic which was to good to be true. We scheduled an appointment to come look at this car, but when we arrived, the car had allegedly been sold alread Civic which was to good to be true. We scheduled an appointment to come look at this car, but when we arrived, the car had allegedly been sold already. Unfortunately, this bait and switch tactic is commonly used in car dealerships and after reading the other reviews for this dealership, we weren't the first ones to be hit with this tactic. Currently this vehicle is STILL on their website. When we arrived and discovered the car had "been sold" already, the salesperson had me seeing red with his persistent push to lease a new car or finance a new car. We told him several times "it's not happening." Several hours later after leaving the dealership, we were contacted twice more by two separate employees trying to sell us a different car. One of the employees was very rude with my wife, which I do not appreciate. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER! More

I have never felt the need to write anything bad for anyone but this must be said about this dealership. THE WORST DEALER IN THE WORLD. I beg you people to never buy from them. From the time we initi anyone but this must be said about this dealership. THE WORST DEALER IN THE WORLD. I beg you people to never buy from them. From the time we initially leased our Maxima to couple months later after we returned it, we are still fighting with them and even though we paid all our dues, they still do not leave us alone and harass us to go to the dealership and bring them all kinds of proofs that we had paid.
