Worse dealership experince ever in my 20+ year's in buying cars. I don't know where to start...but from the beginning of waking in...and negotiating price, Joe Daoud pulled the scam that the Internet p buying cars. I don't know where to start...but from the beginning of waking in...and negotiating price, Joe Daoud pulled the scam that the Internet price is not accurate....that included discounts that are pretty much impossible to qualify for (first time student buyer or something). Then the added numerous bogus charges such as window etching..the finance manager, Kevin is not forthcoming too..when called out on it, he played stupid! After all this, I should of walked, but I didn't....the overall price was still within my budget. While doing finance paperwork, the other not truthful, Joe Daoud was supposed to take the car to service to have a sensor in the tire replaced...as the tire sensor system indicated problems during our test drive. Needless to say, after we signed the paperwork, and are ready to leave, what do you know...the sensor monitoring system wasn't rectified! I told Joe that this was unacceptable. His response was "oh..it just needs air in the tire, there's a gas station across the street (Route 46), and after you fill it up..it will go off..our service dept is closed." This irritated me to no end, as now it is near 9pm..and im from PA, not NJ and have to make arrangements to return. Ok, now it gets better! On our way back to PA, we notice additional mminor problemswith the vehicle, such as the electrical window function malfunctioning, rattling in door, and the power steering started squealing after about 50 miles...prior to getting to the Delaware Water Gap Toll Bridge to enter PA. I called Joe Daoud that evening on his cell phone to make arrangements to return the vehicle to get fix these problems. This was on a Monday...I was going to return vehicle to service on Wednesday. Now, the next day (Tuesday),my wife drove the vehicle to work, approximately 50 miles round trip...then I drove it to take my son to soccer practice that evening. While driving, I notice the odometer reading was lower than when purchased...so I stop, check the odometer reading on the paperwork from the dealership in my glove box! I was correct, the odometer reading was 536 miles lower at the present time..than when I purchased. It rolled back! I doubled checked the mileage disclosure statement and the statement from the crook finance manager, Kevin who wrote the mileage down for the extended warranty. This was a faulty vehicle...which was in dealer terms:TMU....true mileage unknown! So, I immediately called that crook, Joe Daoud and told him that im driving the vehicle back to him and he could have it back...I was done! Mind you, it is 7pm, im in PA, and now im driving back to NJ! Im fuming...on my way, I made the decision to call Totowa Police Dept and explained the situation to them (best decision I made). They met me at the dealership upon my arrival. (Im the one who had the cops come as referenced in a post by another unhappy customer...that wish he ran from his respective deal when he saw the cops arrive). Anyway, eventhough it is a civil matter, they came documented the situation, took copies of paperwork, and took pics of my odometer reading, etc. I told them that I wanted to return car....this is 24 hours after purchase, and they refused to take back in....this is when I meet probably the biggest crook and jerk off of them all at Route 46 Nissan; let me introduce you to General Sales Manager, Michael Cibellis! He and I went toe to toe that evening and two times after...as they had me come back three different times to get vehicle in for service before they would commit to the return, etc. If you have to deal with Cibellus...give it back to him..he thinks he's a tough guy behind his desk! At this time I demanded a return..and I wanted my trade in vehicle returned. .they tell m methe trade in was sold..I tell them to get it back! This is when I meet the only half decent individual in this place involved in this transaction...let me introduce you to; Used Car General Sales Manager, Gary Degrazio...now this guy is ok....he did his job..tried to keep me as a customer, but by that time, I was too far gone! Still....a week had gone by..so to assure this deal was going to be terminated...I called the financing/lender on the loan, Wells Fargo Dealer Services (2nd best decision I made) and told them the issues and that I didnt want this vehicle....and if they funded this loan, I was dropping it off at their NJ location the day the first payment was due in 45 days! They immediately called Route 46 Nissan and amputated the deal! Gary finally got my trade in back and im still driving that trade in vehicle to this day...I was done with dealerships and the car buying experience! I will get there soon! So..that's my story....I hope this just one person reads it prior to entering Route 46 Nissan and it deters their decision..ir if they do purchase there you know what you may be faced with! More
My experience with Maikel Daoud at Route 46 Nissan was outstanding. The professionalism expressed by Maikel has restored my confidence that shopping and purchasing a vehicle does not have to be a pressured, nervous, or confusing experience due to distracted, sleazy, or uneducated salespeople. Maikel made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident in my decision to finance a new Nissan Altima. I would recommend Maikel without hesitation to anyone looking to purchase or lease a vehicle. The most important trait that I witnessed and appreciated from Maikel was his integrity. Integrity is often an oxymoron when it comes to salespeople in the auto business, yet Maikel possesses this trait naturally. Upon my first visit to Route 46 Nissan, Maikel was the first person to greet me as he walked out the door to introduce himself. This was perfect timing as far as I am concerned because had it been someone else other than Maikel ready to help me when I arrived, I may have not had such an overwhelmingly positive experience. Maikel's personality and attentiveness to me as a customer would make him a terrific manager where he could mentor a team of salespeople. I look forward to coming back to the dealership in the future and seeing Maikel grow in his career at Nissan. I am now the proud owner of a brand new shiny black 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL with navigation. Thank you again Maikel!! More

Typical car salesmen at this dealership. Went through TrueCar and got the guaranteed sales price for a Pathfinder. Got multiple emails from Kalvin Moncayo, and I followed up multiple times to confirm th TrueCar and got the guaranteed sales price for a Pathfinder. Got multiple emails from Kalvin Moncayo, and I followed up multiple times to confirm they had the exact vehicle I wanted in stock on the lot. He confirmed so I went down there right after. Met up with a salesman named Shawn, who said they did not have this vehicle in stock and I questioned why the internet rep stated they did, he said they always do that. Showed them their own Truecar certificate and had all the correct numbers listed. Was going to do a lease. This kid Shawn says the TrueCar price was only to BUY the car. I told him, no its not, and if wanted to call TrueCar he could, even states it directly on their own website. He and I both knew he was BS'ing since I already had the residual and money factor numbers correct. Couldn't even argue when he ran my credit and it was probably one of the highest numbers he's ever seen. The numbers were direct in his face and were correct and they knew it. After the typical back and forth to the manager, he came back with a sheet of inflated numbers with no breakdown and no explanation of why they aren't honoring their guaranteed price. Had a trade in too that they low balled but I had no problem wtih that since it wasn't contingent on this deal. Left without getting anything accomplished and contacted TrueCar who were very concerned that one of their "certified" dealers was not honoring the price and they stated they will be dealing with it shortly. What a nightmare experience. I was told I had 72 hours if I wanted to return the car. When I did they refused to take it. I also discovered that this thief donato made my contract 72 months instead of 60 li I wanted to return the car. When I did they refused to take it. I also discovered that this thief donato made my contract 72 months instead of 60 like I requested. I left messages to "share my experience " and never got a call back. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DEALING WITH THESE THIEVES. I should've known when the cops were called there while I was there. The finance officer in the back was rude nd refused to take the BS window etching charge off the price. I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE...WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! More

I had a wonderful experience with Route 46 Nissan. I worked with the Sales Person named Adrian and he seriously was so helpful on trying to find the right car for the price range of what I was able to a worked with the Sales Person named Adrian and he seriously was so helpful on trying to find the right car for the price range of what I was able to afford. I got a wonderful deal on a 2012 Black Nissan Sentra special edition that I love. The greatest thing about him is that he always follows up with me if everything is going well with my vehicle and seeing if he can do anything for me. I feel comfortable enough to be able to reach out to him if I have any issues or concerns to hear his opinion and see if he has a way to solve the issue. Whenever I go in for service with the car, he greets me with a wonderful smile and checks up on me and my vehicle. I highly recommend Adrian and Route 46 Nissan as they are dedicated sales people that sincerely want your experience at a car dealership to be a memorable one so you would feel comfortable and would want to come back to. I had been exchanging emails with the "Internet Sales Consultant" about a certain vehicle in stock (as advertised on their website). I submitted my offer on the vehicle and expressed that I was rea Sales Consultant" about a certain vehicle in stock (as advertised on their website). I submitted my offer on the vehicle and expressed that I was ready to purchase with my bank loan ready. Kalvin confirmed the vehicle was still in stock and would rather I come in to submit my offer to his manager. I emailed him a specific time and day I would come in to submit my offer and see the vehicle. I was greeted by another salesman who went to get Kalvin for me. To my surprise before I even got to meet Kalvin the salesman told me: "That vehicle was sold earlier today." I left and never met Kalvin, who never thought it was important to tell me the vehicle was sold, OR apologize for the inconvenience. More
