It was my first time working with Route 46 Nissan. I leased a Nissan Altima for 36 months. My experience with this dealership was absoulutely dreadful. I have had nothing but problems with them since the minute I walked in the doors of their establishment. I traded my car for a newer more f dreadful. I have had nothing but problems with them since the minute I walked in the doors of their establishment. I traded my car for a newer more fuel efficient vehicle. After having the car for 30 days they tell me I have to bring the vehicle back that my loan was not approved. I agreed with no arguement until when I asked for my vehicle back in return. They told me my vehicle was gone and they would not and could not get it back. Basically they stole my car from me then took their vehicle back as well. After going to the police department in the town where they are located I came to find that this is a reoccuring issue especially with this dealership. If anyone ever asked me if they should do business with this dealership I would tell them to STEER CLEAR. They have horrible values and morels in my opinion as well as others I have spoken with since my experience. More

It makes me nauseous thinking about my experience at this dealership with DJ. I genuinely regret buying my vehicle just because it gave this dealership and DJ business. Things he said about the car were a lie, he lied about the warranty, he lied about my ability to come back and fix a scratch on the car (was on it when I purchased it), and worst of all, he lied about the price. I went in to the dealership with strict parameters of monthly payment and length of loan. I decided to buy the car and while signing the paperwork I see that the length and price were different. I strictly said 4 year loan and he tried to trick me into a 6 year loan. It's really overwhelming how many lies were told to me in that short of a period of time. He was so disrespectful to me because I am a woman too, treating me like a child. Also, in the 11 months that I have had the car the battery has died. The mechanic said that there is a dummy-battery in my car which dealerships often switch out when selling used cars. I bought the car with only a few thousand miles on it, this is truly unacceptable. PLEASE, please, please do not buy a car from this xxxxxxx. More

DJ LaSaracina is the best sales person in this place. I was contacted many times by dealerships and have been in to look at cars many times. But it was not until I met DJ that I returned my lease and was i was contacted many times by dealerships and have been in to look at cars many times. But it was not until I met DJ that I returned my lease and was introduced to a better vehicle. He put all my concerns to rest and till this day contacts me to see how I am doing and to ask about the vehicle. He is more of a friend. I have sent friends and family to DJ and he proves it time after time. He is the best. He doesn't end all contact after the sale he's always checking in and we always share a laugh on the phone. Thank you DJ for being the professional you are and always taking care of any problems that come up. You are the man. Anyone going here should ask for DJ by name. The only reason I was there was because I knew one of the salespeople as an acquaintance. I realize negotiations are what they are BUT - the 1st Sales Mgr. blatantly lied about my down payment would include salespeople as an acquaintance. I realize negotiations are what they are BUT - the 1st Sales Mgr. blatantly lied about my down payment would include taxes (I realized my worksheet included taxes in the calculation and since I wasn't finalizing, it was up to me to research further)...but worse, when I returned to buy (and was not rushed but still wanted to get the ulcer over with) - the 2nd Sales Mgr. blatantly lied that there is NO BUYOUT FEE (he said if you discontinue the lease, there is a FEE but NOT if you BUY IT OUT)...and paragraph #15 states it clearly and I overlooked and made mistake of trusting only ONE thing. Also, the Nissan "ACQUISITION FEE" of $595 was another surprise. But, shame on me because one should not shop if they're not prepared to WALK OUT. I was getting ill thinking about this...did ALOT of homework and got reasonable monthly amount...but, as the book warns, they'll get you at some point...BUT it's usually from calculations and other horseplay and FEES - not blatant lies in my experience More
