So glad that I decided to take the short trip to Route 46 Jeep, having after bad evperiences in the past, I was not looking forward to this, but to my surprise it was the best experience working with Mike. Jeep, having after bad evperiences in the past, I was not looking forward to this, but to my surprise it was the best experience working with Mike. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Mike Kuchar. He went out of his way to work within my budget and to make sure we were happy . He pointed us in the right direction as to what would work for us, no pressure. He even presented us with the CarFAx on the vehicle. There were a few items that had to be taken care in the service dept (which is equally great) Mike called me at home to make sure we were happy with the service, even while I was waiting Mike made sure he came over and spoke, I would highly recommend Mike Kuchar and Rt. 46 Jeep to all. After looking at a bunch of new cars at previous dealerships, Jeep was my last stop. I walked in and was immediately helped by Mike, who answered all my questions, was friendly, and an overall excel dealerships, Jeep was my last stop. I walked in and was immediately helped by Mike, who answered all my questions, was friendly, and an overall excellent salesperson to work with. He was not pushy at all and as a young person, knew exactly what cars to point me to to stay at my price point. I even traded in a car, and he was so helpful with providing assistance, crunching numbers, etc. Overall my trip to Jeep was painless and would reccommend Route 46 CJD to anyone (and send them to Mike!) The person I worked with in the finance office, Frank, was a great help as well. He took the time out to explain everything to me, including my package options, and did not rush me thorugh the process by simply just making me sign all the papers and leaving. I absolutely love my new car, and have nothing negative to say about my experience at Jeep. More

What a difference from most of the dealerships we visited where 46 CJD!!! Gabriel was friendly, professional, and did not pressure us in any way!!! What a difference from most of the dealerships we visited where you couldn't get through the door without getting "attacked" by pushy salesmen. Gabriel was knowledgeable about the car models, patient and quite hospitable during our visits. He is truly an asset to this dealership. We hope that he gets the appropriate recognition for his tactful behavior toward prospective buyers!!! We would recommend family and friends to give him an opportunity to assist woith ther purchase needs!!! We look forward to doing business in the future with Route 46 CJD!!! More
My experience with Tony Lancaster at Route 46 Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge was fantastic. He put me into the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee I WANTED, not just one they had in stock that they needed to sell. I Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge was fantastic. He put me into the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee I WANTED, not just one they had in stock that they needed to sell. I feel that I should tell the whole story to really drive the point home. This write-up is long, but if you're serious about making a ~ $40,000 investment, it might be worth your read: I spent all day a recent Saturday visiting Jeep dealerships in north and northwest New Jersey. Frustrated with inconsistent pricing and/or lackluster customer service, I gave up and started driving home. On the way, I passed Route 46 Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge. As I passed it, I saw the lights on and people inside walking around. It was about 7:30 PM. I exited, made a U-turn, pulled into the dealership, and stepped inside the show room. I wasn't immediately approached and asked if I needed help (which annoyed me a LITTLE bit), so I approached the desk. I told the guy sitting there that I wanted to talk to someone about buying a Jeep. The guy kind of lazily looked over at another guy and said, "Tony, can you help him?" ***Note: I'm from Texas, where people are super friendly and customer service is priority ONE. Although my 5 minute initial impression wasn't BAD per se, I was a little annoyed that I walked around for a few minutes without anyone approaching me asking me if I needed assistance. Anyway, welcome to the N.E. : / Once Tony became involved, it was a different story. I told him I was sorry for coming in so late but that I had stumbled upon the dealership on my way home. He said that he'd stay there as long as it took, even past the 8:00 PM closing, to find me the right Jeep. He said that if I even bought the car that night, he'd make sure someone would stay behind to prep the Jeep for me. FANTASTIC. Tony asked me what I was looking for then immediately took me out on the lot to look at inventory. The lot was completely snowed over, with more snow coming down. Because it was too dangerous to walk on the lot, Tony grabbed a 4 X 4 Grand Cherokee and off we went. As we found vehicles that fit my description, Tony got out of the warm Jeep to look at the window stickers of any Jeep that I was interested in. He must have looked at 15 different Jeeps. By 8:30 PM or so, it was obvious Tony didn't have the exact color Jeep with the exact options I wanted. Tony took me back into the office and talked to his sales manager. Tony came back and offered me a ridiculously fantastic deal on a more expensive Jeep they had in stock. Although the deal was one of a kind, the Jeep they offered was just too much truck for me. At the same time, I had Tony give me an appraisal on my trade in. Tony fetched the "appraisal guy". The appraisal guy didn't really make me happy, and was a little unfair. He also didn't know I've been in the auto repair business for 20+ years. In short, he offered me half of what he fairly should have. No thanks. Meanwhile, Tony somehow found a Jeep on the lot that we didn't see on our search. It was the color and options I wanted. However, I was a little bothered about the appraisal of my trade-in. I asked Tony for the rock-bottom, absolute LOWEST price they'd let the Jeep go for and I wasn't interested in back-and-forth negotiating. I wanted the lowest figure they'd sell it to me, period. Tony went off to talk to his sales manager. Meanwhile, I set a price in my head that I'd buy the Jeep for. Tony came back, and to my surprise, his sales price was right where I needed it to be. I told Tony the pricing was perfect, but I had to try to sell my current vehicle on my own because of the low offer the dealer gave me. Also, I needed to shop the lowest interest rate I could find. Tony again went to talk to his sales manager, who said he'd finance me at whatever rate I thought I could get outside of the dealership. Obviously, these guys wanted to sell me a Jeep and would do whatever it took. However, the money still wasn't right on my trade-in. I thanked Tony for all of his efforts and promised him he had my business, but I needed a week or 2 to try to sell my current vehicle. Tony gave me no pressure and didn't haggle me whatsoever. Instead, he shook my hand and said he hoped to see me again soon. The very next night, Tony called me and said he couldn't give me EXACTLY what I wanted for my trade, but he'd give me really close. Additionally, the tax savings I'd have by trading the vehicle in (as opposed to selling on my own) would offset the difference in what I wanted. I was sold...ALMOST. I changed my mind and decided I wanted a different color than the Jeep Tony had found me. Tony said he didn't have that color, but he'd find it. Less than 20 minutes later, Tony found the truck at a different dealer and said he'd have it the next day. Tony even emailed me the window sticker. The next night I drove to the dealership and picked up my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Tony walked me through all of the vehicle functions and helped me set-up the voice recognition software. We finalized the paper work and I left, a VERY happy customer. Ever since, I text, email, and call Tony here and there to ask him questions or to run things by him. He always responds within minutes of my messages. When I had a small issue with something on the Jeep, Tony himself went over and talked to a service advisor and scheduled me an appointment. I find it meaningful that even though Tony's involvement in my purchasing experience should be over, he makes himself readily available to address any issues or concerns I have. Tony is the only person that has ever sold me anything where, in the end, made me feel like I owed him a beer afterwards. Shouldn't it be the other way around? I will refer whoever I can to Tony at Route 46. He has made me a life long customer. -Texas Pete More
I went in there to get a Wrangler but since it was a bit out of my price range I was looking for something a little more in my price range. I asked Marisol what the prices were on the cars I was interested out of my price range I was looking for something a little more in my price range. I asked Marisol what the prices were on the cars I was interested in. I found out after the fact that she had highballed me on every car I asked about. I realized this when I came home and checked their website on the Internet on my PC. I was trying to check while I was at the dealership but their mobile site will not allow it. I was desperate to get a new car so I didn't study the numbers that she threw at me with Hector, her boss. I called her the next day because I wanted to switch to a different car, she told me it might be too late, but that she'd call me back..of course she never did. I did the math, and they went over by $1,700 from kbb and since my credit is not very good, I accepted the 13.8% finance rate but after I did the math I'm paying about $80 a month more from what I should be paying! I've left 2 messages to their GM Frank Tackett and have gotten no calls back. They gouged me! People, please do your homework before you go there...they don't seem to care about new customers...I may not have good credit but that's no reason to treat me like a fool. With this contract I'll be paying $29,000 for a $15,000 car...and this was after I put down $1,500 in trade-in and $3,000 cash. There's no way I'd recommend anyone to this place. More
