Buyer Beware Buyer Beware! My Experience started with a phone call from the manager to come in for a black Friday deal "getting me into a new car for the same or Buyer Beware! My Experience started with a phone call from the manager to come in for a black Friday deal "getting me into a new car for the same or less than my current lease payment". Never, ever did we meet the manager who called or were shown a car for our current lease amount. Abby was our salesperson. We test drove 2 cars and were interested in a 4 yr. old Maxima. We filled out a finance application. She came back with an offer, that included a $2000 additional fee that she told us was customer loyalty?? (and is in fine print on the On Line price of the car), a 100K mile warranty costs, taxes and fees. She told us we could finance the taxes and additional fees with the new Nissan credit card which we told her we did not want... and she told us it was a no interest card! When she went to the "back office" for another "deal", we looked up the card on the internet, and the card has a 20+% rate! We could not accept their offer of 8 years of financing at $425/month for a 4 year old car, with a list price of 22K so we left the dealership. Imagine our surprise when we found an email later that day congratulating us on our new Nissan credit card!!! I spoke to "Bill" the sales manager about the finance application and the shoddy practice of opening up credit cards with a finance application. He told me when you filled out the application you were applying for the card??? At no time during the 2.5 hours that we wasted in that dealership did anyone ever explain to us that we were applying for a credit card that we did not want. Now we have another credit card on our credit report that we do not want!! . This practice is at best shoddy and possibly illegal. Complaints about this "finance " practice have been filed with the AG Office for the State of NJ, and Nissan USA. We will be returning the credit cards to Synchrony Bank, and hopefully can get it removed from our credit report. What a huge hassle for nothing!!!!! More

I called Rt. 33 Nissan & I spoke with Tyler (sales manager) who, over the phone, beat the price I was previously given. I went to the dealership the next day & salesman, Elvin, helped us through the entire process seamlessly. He even drove my husband to his car when it was time to pick my kids up at daycare. He was really nice & very knowledgeable. I am VERY happy with the service I received & will definitely recommend this dealership to friends! More
