I was very pleased with my experience when I purchased my new Nissan Altima last week. My dealer, Dave, the manager Matt and the finance guy Pete, were helpful, accommodating and listened to my needs and gave me a more than fair trade-in value for my other car. The entire staff was friendly and offered refreshments and made the car-buying experience the best I ever had. This is my second new car in my whole life, and when I am ready to purchase another car, I know I will go back to Route 33 Nissan. Thank you everyone! More
Awful simply Awful In March of 2016 I was in a car accident and had to get another car. I had been previously driving a Nissan Versa and really liked it so I was trying to find the same car to replace the one that was totaled. I had gone into Route 33 Nissan one night after work with my husband to LOOK at a car. I was mildly interested in a 2012 Silver Nissan Versa that was on the used lot. I had test driven it and was trying to see what the price and payments would be if I considered purchasing it. I have to say after buying three previous used cars in the past the experience at Route 33 Nissan had to be the worst. Not only was there a bait and switch with the initial price that was advertised online and what the salesman was saying but they would not let me just leave and think about it. The salesman kept pressuring me and my husband to just take the car home that night and after being there for a few hours I was clearly not in my right mind and was hungry and tired and was pressured into taking the car home that night. The next evening I went back to the dealer with the car and did not want to keep it. When they wanted me to sign the paperwork to buy it there were all added costs that were not authorized or explained and was very rude and shady. I had said numerous amounts of time that I did not want to keep the car and was told i was not allowed now to return it even though the final paperwork was not signed and I had only had it for a day. Needless to say I could not get rid of the car and it has been a constant headache ever since. I paid over 12,000 for that car used and I have had nothing but problems since the day I brought it home. The wheels have never been able to be aligned even though they supposedly did it at the dealer twice. The car runs horribly and has an exhaust smell coming into the car. When I was given the care I was only given one key and told that model did not come with fobs until I complained and then only one was made. Not to mention the hassle with the recalled airbag. I was told to make an appointment to pick up a rental car and when I got there I was told there were no more cars left to rent. So I had to go to enterprise and get one there. Needless to say this was quite a hassle as I was five months pregnant with twins and trying to move into a new house the day I had to pick up the rental. Then I had to go back a week later to pick up the rental car from the dealer and was told yet again even though I had made an appointment there were no vehicles left to rent. I had told them that was unacceptable and somehow they were able to come up with a car that I had to wait over an hour for. Then I had to drag my pregnant self back each month to sign paperwork to keep the car. When it came time to sign again in December I had just given birth to my twins prematurely and was told they would come here for me to sign the paperwork. The next call I received was that they had the part and wanted me to drive the car there and drop it off to be fixed. First off I couldn't drive as I was just out of the hospital and I could not leave my babies home or take them with me in an unsafe car or out of the house for that matter. They finally agreed to send someone to pick up the car to have it fixed then dropped it off and picked up the rental at my house. I never received any paperwork stating that the airbag was actually replaced it was just dropped off. So now I am left with this unsafe car that drives poorly and I can't drive it and will not drive it with my babies. If Route 33 Nissan would like to redeem themselves from this awful experience, since this car should have been lemon lawed in the first place, and offer me a good deal for a trade in and a new car I may consider buying from there again. If not it just shows how the company does not stand behind their cars and that I nor anyone should trust buying a car there. More

Worst Customer Service Experience of my Life My Nissan Versa was affected by the Takata airbag recall. While the recall was obviously not the dealer’s fault, they way they delt with the situation My Nissan Versa was affected by the Takata airbag recall. While the recall was obviously not the dealer’s fault, they way they delt with the situation was horrendous. I was given a rental car for approximately 4 months since the replacement parts were not available and they had no idea when they would get them. The first rental I was given for about three months had manual windows and locks, which was incredibly frustrating. After the first three months I got a call that the replacement part was in so I scheduled a repair appointment. The next day I got a call from them saying they made a mistake and actually didn’t have the part. A few weeks later they called again to say they had the replacement part so I took my car to their service center to have the airbag replaced. They said it would be done same day or the day after. A week goes by and I hear nothing. I call for an update and am told they ran out of replacement parts and are waiting for a new shipment. They asked why I was in a rush since I have a rental which I found incredibly rude and apathetic. I would have appreciated a call letting me know what was going on with my car. After another week of no updates from them I called again and asked to speak to a manager. I was transferred twice and ended up speaking with the girl in the rental department who is not a manager and again had no update. She said they were still waiting on more replacement parts. A few hours later I got a call that my car was magically ready, which leads me to believe I was lied to on the phone earlier or my car was actually repaired already and no one took the time to check. When I got to the dealership to return my rental, a kid said he had to do a walk around with me (which I never did when I was given the car). The second rental I was given had several thousand miles on it when I got it so I had no way of knowing if the marks and dings he was pointing out were from a previous driver. He told me the car was brand new when I got it and I was responsible even though the car was a 2016 model and had 3k miles on it before I ever touched it. I finally got my car back and was prepared to put all of this behind me only to realize there was another car blocking me in in the parking lot. I left feeling horrible about the situation because of the attitudes of the employees, the lack of customer service, and the fact that I never was able to speak to the person who was managing the situation. They acted as if they were the victims in this situation and I was an inconvenience. If they had acted with more transparency and understanding it could have been an entirely different experience. I will never go back even though I have free oil changes for life, and I will never be purchasing another Nissan vehicle. More

In every case I received very fair deals meeting my demands in all cases. Not only was the purchase experience great but the service on each vehicle was just as good if not better. The purchase of the car is one thing , but the service of the car for as long as you have it is just as important. The service department is outstanding. They are very fair on costs involved and go out of there way to accommodate your needs. I just purchased my new Maxima on January 3, 2018 and the sales rep Dave, the manager Chris, and Pete and Abbey ( finance ) were all instrumental in me making the decision to buy this car.
