It is what motivated my wife and I to purchase and service our Fords here. She is sensitive to our needs and is effective in presenting them to the servicemen who work on our vehicles. SERVICE DEPT. NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO FIX CARS !! Unfort. my hubby and I purch a brand new car cash (42K) and had problems since day one. Car spent more time at dealer than at my home. Between the ser Unfort. my hubby and I purch a brand new car cash (42K) and had problems since day one. Car spent more time at dealer than at my home. Between the serv. mgr and the owner, who is very rude to cash cust. appar. telling me i was wearing on him after 2 1/2 years of trying to get all of my car fixed. finally put me off just long enough that I could not put a lemon law on my vehicle and the brakes could not be warrantied. . The owner did express to me that it cost him a lot of money when my car was there for service. Still waiting for their serv. mgr. to call me back, it been 5 months and I had to go to a private garage to get my brakes, rotors and a caliper and pay $500, because of Rte. 23's pathetic treatment of customers, and inability to find the problem but find one's that didn't even exist, fixed which Rt. 23 Auto mall serv. dept. shaved my rotors 3 TIMES and when my mechanic showed me the pic of the problem brake ....I WAS COMPLETELY BAFFLED BY RT. 23 AUTOMALL'S SERVICE INCOMPETENCE !!! They refused to make an appointment for a recall service repair because I did not purchase the vehicle there. Said they were not accepting "visiting vehicles" for this recall. Vehicle was purchased elsewhere due to where I lived at the time. If I still lived near the dealership where I purchased this vehicle, I would have brought it there for repair to begin with. I guess when it comes time to purchase another Ford vehicle, I will go back to the original dealership as well. Dumb business practice and against Ford Motor Company policy. While you're fixing my vehicle, I could be browsing shiny new vehicles in your showroom. But I guess not. More
